On Hiatus: God's Personal Reasons-Chapter 263: #I Became a Genius Apocalypse Academy Pilot (2)
Chapter 263: #I Became a Genius Apocalypse Academy Pilot (2)
The law of nature dictated that humans needed to shit if they ate. Such law applied equally in this dystopian world filled with no joy and only dull responsibility.
“100101, are you still not done yet? The commander is going to get mad at us again!”
“Stop rushing me! It’s going to go back in again!”
“I understand that you’ll get nervous before an exam, but... quiiick!” Eight screamed urgently from outside the toilet.
I ignored him and glared at the “toilet” of this world.
How do I use this exactly?
Instead of a toilet seat, there was only a pipe that resembled a fire hydrant hose. I imagined sticking my butt on the pipe and shook my head—bad image. Thankfully, I wasn’t here to produce my junior, but for another junior.
Sss—
I raised my thumb, then placed it on my forehead. “Proliferating Thumb of God!”
Along with a blinding light, I felt something fall out of me.
Sss—
There was another 100101 before me. His eyes flung open, revealing ominously glowing red eyes.
“It’s been a while, Sam-Shin.”
Parting his black lips, he shouted, “Des...troy!”
Perhaps thanks to Demon Lord, who absorbed God of Destroyer’s powers while we were sharing a body, I could summon him again. I’d intended to summon Yi-Shin, but I hadn’t committed enough atrocities as a malevolent god to do so.
Still, can he do it?
The concern only came after the deed was done. Those red eyes, black lips, topped off with that pale face could pass off as me, but...
What should I do with that height?
Sam-Shin tilted his head curiously. “Des...troy?”
Sam-Shin, why are you still as short when I summoned you from this body?
I couldn’t help but sigh at Sam-Shin, who was barely half my height. Still, since I had summoned him, let’s give it a try.
“Sam-Shin, you know your mission, right?”
“Des...troy!”
“Alright, go on then!”
I watched Sam-Shin run out the toilet as I hid myself from Eight, quietly observing their interaction. Would things go well?
Eight was wide-eyed as he looked down at Sam-Shin, who stopped before him.
“W-who...are you?”
“Des...troy!”
“Wow! You’re so cute! Eh? Wait a minute, you look familiar. Are you...?” Eight looked all over the young boy.
“Are you 100101?”
“Des...troy!” Sam-Shin nodded.
Perhaps that alone was insufficient, as Eight placed the bracelet on his wrist on Sam-Shin’s forehead.
“Identity verification.”
Then, a mechanical sound came from his bracelet.
[This is Cadet No. 100101 registered as your partner. He is a 100% match with the registered genetics information.]
“N-no way! No. 100101, you...!” Eight picked up Sam-Shin off the ground. “So you’ve finally awakened your Unique Talent! Seeing how you have shrunk, it must be related to physique, huh? You’re so cute! Incredible!”
Unique Talent? It must be similar to the ones that our Hunters Awaken with. Moreover, just like on Earth, the humans in this world were ranked from G to SSS depending on their strengths. As a side note, the original owner of this body was only a G-rank Awakener.
“I was honestly worried, but I think you’ll be able to pass this practical training safely! 100101, let’s go now!” Eight kept Sam-Shin in his arms, and they disappeared from my sight.
I grinned at the development.
Alright, things have progressed smoother than expected.
Sam-Shin, if anything goes wrong, it’ll be your fault.
Beep beep beep—
I then tapped the silver bracelet on my wrist.
Swoosh!
The map that I had prepared beforehand popped up like a hologram. The advancement in science and technology was indeed much higher than on Earth.
Let’s see...Was the hangar in this direction?
This world’s current threat was the alien monsters. Even though their queen had been defeated, the remnants could still threaten humanity. If, on top of being a High-tier god, I also had help from Lazenca, this trial would be a piece of cake, right? Imagine if I could evolve her into a Machine God! Then, the course of action was clear!
Wait for me, Lazenca!
I pulled down my cadet cap and stealthily headed for the hangar.
After approximately an hour, I spotted an immensely huge cube-shaped building. The building, which was about the size of ten Jamsil Stadiums combined, emitted a sacred glow. As expected, there were countless soldiers guarding the area—at least three to four thousand of them.
“Who are you?”
“Tell us your division!”
Despite my efforts to be cautious, I was eventually discovered. Now on high alert, the soldiers pointed their laser guns at me.
Keeping my composure, I whispered, “Skill Sharing, Sung Mi-Na’s Power of Words.”
I made use of Psychic-type Hunter Sung Mi-Na’s skill.
“All of you, follow my commands from now on.”
Their eyes turned blank. Soon, they saluted me as if addressing a superior officer.
“Please give us your orders!”
I then pointed at one of the men, who seemed to be their leader. “Hm, you. Let me borrow your clothes.”
“Yes sir!”
After wearing his clothes, I headed for the hangar under the escort of the soldiers. Everything after that happened in the blink of an eye. The soldiers guarding the entrance demanded my access pass, but I used Sung Mi-Na’s ability to brainwash them.
This ability is always deceitful whenever I think about it.
I was glad to have gained her Faith before stepping into the Tower of Gods. With a heavy metallic sound, the entrance to the fifty-meter-long hangar opened.
“All of you, wait outside.”
“Yes sir!”
Leaving the soldiers who escorted me over, I took my time to observe the hangar.
This is incredible.
It was filled with various weapons, ranging from futuristic anti-tanks to battleships. Giant armored robots that seemed to come from the movie Trensformers caught my eyes. The sight of three imposing steel giants, towering over ten meters and armed with swords and laser weapons, would make any man’s heart race.
Oh right, I shouldn’t get distracted. I need to find Lazenca!
According to the information I’d gathered, President Zenard’s aircraft was stored here. The strongest machine ever piloted by the strongest man in humanity—I believed that it was Lazenca.
Didn’t they say no one could pilot it after Zernard’s passing?
Instead of continuing its use as a weapon, it seemed like Lazenca had become a relic left behind by a hero. Still, with my experience in piloting her from my previous life, things could change.
Oh, I found it.
In the center of the hangar was a suit of armor enveloped in a transparent barrier. It was about two meters in size, emitting a faint golden glow. It was small compared to the other machines and weapons surrounding it.
It looks different on the outside, but I’m sure this is Lazenca.
It looked like some medieval armor, but it exuded the same divine power from Lazenca in my past life.
“Crushing Forefinger of God.”
With a flick on my finger, I dismissed the barrier surrounding it.
Pzzz!
After the barrier vanished, I placed my hand gently on the armor and said cautiously, “Lazenca, can you hear me?”
Silence ensued.
Oh, right. Lazenca wasn’t her original name, but a name given by Gal Joong-Hyuk, the weeb. I racked my brains to recall her original codename.
“NT2512R-1004. Respond if you hear my voice.”
There was still none.
“Let’s see what the issue is here.”
Scratching my head, I concentrated on the machine.
Ding!
Soon, more information about the armor appeared before my eyes. ƒree𝑤ebnσvel.com

[Human Union President Zernard’s Soul Mecha NT2512R-1004]
Around for 17 years.
Special note: All of the Human Alliance’s technologies are condensed in it, with potential for transcendence. Insufficient soul energy to boot up the armor.
-----
Insufficient energy?
Well, even my phone runs out of battery after a few days of use. Besides, I heard that it had been five years since Zernard passed, so that made sense. Still, how should I recharge it?
Maybe I should just try it first?
Just as I was wondering what I should do...
Ruuumble—baaam!
A terrible explosion and earthquake happened.
I was told that this base was built in preparation for alien monster attacks, and could even withstand meteor showers!
I-is that an alien monster attack?!

Right before Yu Il-Shin entered the hangar...
The Mecha Pilot Academy’s vast training room, stretching for kilometers, was filled with three-meter-tall training mechas, each marked with a number on its chest plate.
There, the furry instructor glared at Eight and Sam-Shin, who was barely half his partner’s height.
“So you’re saying this little mouse is 100101?”
“Yes, that’s right, sir! Uncle Instructor!”
“I see that the genetic information matches. For such an inferior student to have finally activated your Unique Talent, this is a cause for celebration indeed... Still, can’t you grow bigger than that?”
“Des...troy?” Sam-Shin tilted his head.
Uncle Instructor bellowed, “Is Destroy all you can say?! Did your language skill degrade because your body shrunk!?”
“Des...troy!” Sam-Shin shouted angrily as well.
However, rather than intimidating, he looked cute.
The other cadets erupted into giggles, but went silent as soon as the instructor glared at them.
“Anyway, as per my warning, you’ll be expelled if you get G-rank again! Expelled cadets end up at the borders, unable to ride armored tanks, and eventually turn into cannon fodder! So fight like your life depends on it!”
“Des...troy!” Sam-Shin responded with a salute, showing that he understood.
“Tsk. Let’s begin by evaluating your driving skills! Cadet paired with 100101, head to the training ground!”
“That’d be me, Uncle Instructor.” A young boy with blue hair stood before Sam-Shin, sneering. “You’re unlucky to be going against me, Small Fry.”
Sam-Shin's training opponent was No. 52444, an excellent B-rank cadet. The original owner could never hope to stand against him.
From beyond the barrier surrounding the training ground, Eight screamed vigorously, “Fight, Partner! I believe in you! Show us your true power!”
“Hmph! As if this weakling could ever beat me!” No. 52444's face twisted in disdain, then reached for his bracelet. “Connect!”
Swoosh!
Then, the number 52444 engraved on the vehicle glowed and shot toward the cadet. The chest hatch opened, sucking the cadet in.
Clunk! Baaam!
Combined with its pilot, the now three-meter steel giant looked down at Sam-Shin arrogantly.
-How dare you hog Madonna’s love just because you grew up in the same facilities as us, Small Fry! Today, I vow to send you to the bor—what’s with that expression? Small Fry! Are you looking down on me?!
Sam-Shin beamed at him, as if he’d just discovered a precious treasure.
“Des...troy!”
Waaaah, that’s so cool!
