Leo watched as the women started eating the English-like breakfast he whipped up, and it surprised the group. Roxy was eating some eggs before speaking with gleaming eyes. ’’This is delicious babe, it’s like that cafe we went to on that trip a few years ago.’’

They agreed and followed him outside while the palace’s staff avoided him with their heads down. Five minutes later, the trio stepped into the garden as he waved his hand which allowed them to fly alongside him.

Following that, Leo flew further south with the two women fascinated at flying, he heard the cat woman giggling while taking in all the sights. This made him smile as they passed over a snow-covered world.

’’The view from up here is gorgeous,’’ the pink-haired beauty commented with glowing red eyes. ’’I could never get used to this.’’

Leo chuckled at their reactions but Faelina quickly added. ’’I can see so many monster herds, it is truly amazing to be able to fly.’’

’’Yes it is,’’ he said before warning the duo. ’’Just be careful to not hit anything when we descend, the wall most likely has cannons and mages that will attack us.’’

They agreed with determined nods and quickly grabbed a hold of him just as he descended when a massive structure appeared in the distance. Leo scanned their surroundings only to be surprised by what he found.

’Cannibals tribes! How many are out here?’ he pondered while stopping.

That’s when the smell of rot and decay hit his nose just as Faelina gagged. Thalira covered her nose before speaking. ’’This place is the Northern Wastes, home to criminals, the unwanted or banished. We shouldn’t be here, it’s full of nightmares and horror.’’

’’Huh?’’ Leo blurted out, he shook his head and questioned. ’’How come I didn’t see this place on the way north?’’

Thalira tilted her head with a thinking expression for a few minutes before she explained. ’’I bet you traveled the far west way, one of the only safe routes to the elven empire from Duskwood. It’s one of the main reasons the emperor didn’t march north.’’

He nodded in understanding, but his senses came to life prompting him to cast Mana Barrier that blocked a wave of projectiles that bounced off the shield. When this happened, Leo glanced at the pink-haired knight.

’’Do you know how many people are out here?’’ he asked as more spears and arrows hit the barrier.

’’Duskwood has been banishing people here for decades, most turn feral as you see,’’ Thalira answered while pointing at a group of wild people.

Leo descended to the ground, which excited all the cannibals who stopped attacking. As the trio got close, Faelina spoke up in a worried tone. ’’Why are we going down?’’

’’I want to turn them into my soldiers,’’ he revealed. ’’These people are strong and I want to see how they react with my demonic energy.’’

The cat woman smiled at him, and nodded before grabbing his arm tighter, making him smile. When the trio touched down, the cannibals went crazy and lunged at the shield, only to slam into it.

This made Leo and the women laugh before he waved his hand causing a Mana Missile to fly through all the enemies’ chests within a few seconds, shocking Thalira whose red eyes went wide with amazement.

’’That was fast,’’ she muttered. ’’I didn’t think you got that strong.’’

Leo was just about to reply but his throat went dry causing something to change as Faeline questioned with a worried expression. ’’Are you okay handsome?’’

’’Need blood,’’ he croaked out.

Both women stiffened but Faelina stepped forward with an affection-filled smile while showing her slender neck. ’’Take some of mine, husband, it’s what I’m here for.’’

Leo’s response was unnecessary, his fangs extended, sharp and gleaming, before sinking into the cat woman’s delicate neck. Her tangy blood flooded his throat, a rush of vitality surging through him as her body weakened.

’’Are we meeting them?’’ Faelina asked as she caught up to him.

Leo nodded. ’’Yes, but I’ll fly us there, the land in this part of the continent is dangerous and full of powerful monsters,’’ he answered.

Moments later, with a casual wave of his hand, Leo sent the three of them drifting upward into the air. The afternoon sun blazed overhead, casting a warm, golden light across the world below.

It took them an hour to reach the Demonic Empires camp, and when the two women saw the size they were shocked. Thalira commented in awe. ’’How many soldiers are here?’’

’’Millions,’’ he answered while descending to Astra’s tent but the sound of music caught his attention.

Leo’s gaze landed on soldiers celebrating their victory, but what shocked him was that demons, demi-humans, and elves were getting on. When the trio landed, Astra and Valedra appeared from the tent with big smiles.

’’It’s good that you’re here,’’ she said before cuddling him. ’’I’ve stopped sending scouts because of the tribes, they keep getting attacked.’’

When he heard this he quickly replied. ’’I’ll clear out the forest so keep the soldiers in the camp to rest. The human wall will be tough to destroy as its powered with the help of Dark’s sister.’’

The four women nodded in agreement while the red-skinned beauty dragged him into the tent while speaking. ’’Enough of all this war talk, let’s rest for a few days. I want to spend some time with you.’’

Following that, the group entered the warm tent that looked homely just as Thalira offered. ’’Would everyone like some tea?’’

’’Yes please,’’ several answers flew at her.

The pink-haired woman giggled before dragging Veladra toward the kitchen as the others sat down. Leo slumped into the chair while Astra climbed into his lap with a knowing smile. ’’It’s good to see you handsome, I’ve been aching for you.’’

His red eyes flared with hunger, a glint of lust shimmering within them as his fangs lengthened. With a swift motion, he sank them into the Demon Queen’s slender neck and her delicious blood flowed into his mouth.

Astra giggled at the sound, nodding in playful agreement as she leaned against him, her body easing into a relaxed slump. Following this, Thalira appeared moments later with a tray full of cups.

The pink-haired woman placed two on the table in front of him while giving the others theirs before sitting down herself.
