"That is the evolution of the Byakugan," Hiashi replied proudly.

Though he didn't know the full capabilities of the evolved Tenseigan, Shin Uzumaki had told him it was the Byakugan's next stage.

As for its power, Hiashi didn't know, but now he could confidently say their Byakugan was not inferior to the Sharingan. That was the source of his pride.

"The Byakugan evolved? The Byakugan can evolve?!" Hiruzen and Orochimaru simultaneously turned to Hiashi.

Hiruzen momentarily forgot about the rampaging Nine-Tails, utterly shocked by this revelation. This was the first time he'd heard the Byakugan could evolve.

Many liked to compare the Sharingan and Byakugan.

"Is he... like me?" Gaara's expression turned complex.

"Since it's the Hokage's personal grudge, I won't interfere." Hiashi Hyūga immediately stepped aside and moved far away. He wouldn't get involved in this matter.

What happened in Konoha had nothing to do with him.
