Mythical Era: I Evolved Into A Stellar-Level Beast-Chapter 1239 - 485: Dark Star Battle Body, One Man Slaughters a City_2
Chapter 1239: Chapter 485: Dark Star Battle Body, One Man Slaughters a City_2
Although the Giant Beast had no energy swirling around its body, its double wings were thick and heavy. The leading edge of its wings was lined with air vents that absorbed air and converted it into a type of flame fuel, which it expelled from the rear, containing powerful kinetic energy.
As they watched the enormous beast rapidly approaching, Sara Williams said with gravity, "Mr. Clark, it’s a Level 7 Hegemon Pterosaur, we’ve entered its territory."
"It’s fine," Jack Clark said, his gaze indifferent as he watched the beast lunging towards them, making no move to act.
Meanwhile, the Cloud Sky Fighter Jet’s wings split open beneath, revealing two five-meter-long Anti-air Crystal Energy Missiles, their tails erupting with scorching blue and white fire.
The two Surface-to-air Missiles burst out at five times the speed of sound, gaining velocity as they flew, and in the blink of an eye they’d traveled several thousand meters to accurately hit the Hegemon Pterosaur flying on the side.
Boom boom!! A dazzling fireball exploded in the sky, and the violent explosion’s roar created a circular wave of light that swept across several kilometers.
Suddenly, the fiery light dissipated, revealing the beast with battered scale armor and half of its flesh and blood blown open, charging out.
The injured beast’s eyes were blood-red as it saw the fighter aircraft whizzing by. With a contraction of its wings, it shot out dazzling red shockwaves like a fighter jet erupting forward.
"It’s still alive?"
Surprised, Jack Clark watched the Mutant Beast speeding up behind them.
The two missiles, imbued with demon-slaying power, were very strong. Under normal conditions, a Level 7 Giant Beast would be blown to death instantly, but that so-called Level 7 Colossus only suffered heavy injury.
The reason was its even more formidable physique, comparable to an Eighth Level Beast.
In this world, due to the lack of Heavenly Energy, at the same level, the physiques of Alien Beasts were stronger than those of Giant Beasts due to virus-induced Evolution and mutations, which even surprised Jack Clark a bit.
Then it sparked his interest.
It seemed the virus that triggered the mutations across the entire world was somewhat special. Perhaps he could bring back some samples for research.
With the current technology on Blue Star, if they could develop a harmless strength-enhancing genetic potion, it might enable the entire human population of Blue Star to fortify their physique at once.
Then, if they also cultivated the Body Refining Technique he planned to create next, perhaps everyone could achieve Transcendence in a short amount of time.
As Jack Clark pondered, the side of the Cloud Sky opened up, revealing a two-meter-wide cannon barrel that extended out, with a powerful and scorching white Radiance converging.
Boom!
A blaze of white Light Beam pierced the sky, and, in an instant, the head of the Hegemon Pterosaur, whose body was comparable to an Eighth Level Beast, exploded. The massive body, emitting rolling flames, fell to the ground.
Assembled from Mythical Giant Beast Bones and equipped with various weapons, the Throne Fighter, primarily meant for auxiliary functions, could still unleash destructive power on par with quasi-mythical beings.
A mere Level 7 Colossus was no match for Jack Clark’s intervention.
As the Flying Giant Beast was dealt with, a broken city built upon a mountain appeared ahead. Sara Williams promptly said, "Mr. Clark, ahead is Ring Mountain City. We need to veer a bit to the right."
"No problem," Jack Clark nodded, and skillfully tilted the Cloud Sky Fighter Jet, drawing an arc in the sky as they flew over the city.
Roar roar!!
As the black and red warplane thundered across the sky, the monsters dwelling in the city raised their heads to the heavens, hissing and roaring. Even a dozen of them chased after it, rushing out from the city.
But it wasn’t long before the Cloud Sky Fighter Jet left those Mutant monsters behind, disappearing into the forest.
"What was that flying overhead?"
At three times the speed of sound, the fighter aircraft quickly crossed over two thousand kilometers of a large province under the navigation of Sherry Williams, with a speed that shocked the two sisters once more.
And this was still with the precaution of not flying too fast, in case Sherry Williams could not keep up with the need to identify the coordinates based on the ruin cities they flew over below.
"Look! There’s an airplane in the sky."
"An airplane, really?"
Atop a mountain thousands of meters high, half-covered by stone houses, thousands of people stood stunned and excited, gazing at the black and red fighter aircraft that sped across the sky.
"This airplane must come from some large Survivor Base; they’ve developed more advanced technology, actually breaking through the blockade of the flying pterosaurs to come here," said a robust man with a powerful aura, shouting, "Quick, light the fire, send up smoke signals to tell the airplane there are people below."
But before they could ignite the beacon, the Cloud Sky flashed across the heavens at astonishing speed, zipping past the mountain in an instant, quickly becoming a mere speck.
Even so, those survivors on the mountain were incredibly excited, with hopeful light flickering in their numb eyes.
What they didn’t know was that it wasn’t a product of this world’s technology at all.
On the Cloud Sky Fighter Jet, Sherry Williams looked back and hesitated, "Sis, there seemed to be a large Survivor Base back there."
"I saw it," Sara Williams nodded, but remained silent without further comment.
What of it, after all?
Even their own base was barely hanging on, and had Jack Clark not intervened to rescue Reg Brown and the others, their heavily reduced fighting force would have been left in despair.
Even with the sisters’ strength, it was difficult to sustain dozens of youths in this perilous world.
Squeak squeak! Just then, the air ahead filled with numerous creatures rising into the sky.
A swarm of over a thousand ordinary Pterosaurs, each with a wingspan of over ten meters and about ten meters in length, flew majestically towards them, attacking the Fighter Jet that had breached their territory.
Ratatatata!!
Beneath the Fighter Jet, two Six-barrel machine guns with a caliber of one hundred millimeters thundered, firing over three thousand ’bullets’ per minute, creating a death curtain that enveloped everything in front of them.
Bang bang bang!!
