Myth Beyond Heaven-Chapter 2834: Undercurrent
The Southern Expanse of the Primal Chaos was in turmoil.
The creatures of chaos still rampaged across the shattered lands, their assault unrelenting. The Misty Cloud Sect's disciples—all female warriors clad in white robes—stood firm against the tide, their swords gleaming as they cut down one monster after another.
At the edge of the battlefield, space rippled.
Two figures materialized silently—Ren Yuan and Chun Yue.
They stood in the void, overlooking the fierce battle below. The Misty Cloud Sect's disciples moved with flawless coordination, their formations unbreakable despite the endless horde of abyssal creatures.
Chun Yue's delicate eyebrows rose slightly. "They're quite impressive. No wonder they've held out for so long."
Ren Yuan's golden eyes swept across the battlefield, his expression unreadable. "Yun Lintian trained them well... Should we thank him later?"
His gaze then shifted toward the ruins of the Divine Realm—once the heart of the Primal Chaos, now a fractured wasteland.
"Let's go. It's been a while since we've returned."
With a wave of his hand, he concealed their presence completely, their figures blending into the void itself.
Then, like shadows, they slipped past the battlefield and into the Divine Realm.
Yun Ting, the leader of the Misty Cloud Sect's defensive squad, suddenly paused mid-swing.
Her sword cleaved through a Chaos beast, but her instincts prickled.
Something's wrong.
She couldn't see anything amiss, but the Divine Realm's barrier had rippled—just faintly, as if something had passed through it.
Her eyes narrowed.
Without hesitation, she activated her communication jade.
"Fourth Elder, the Divine Realm's barrier was disturbed. I sense an intrusion."
A moment later, Yun Lingwei's voice responded.
"Understood. I'll investigate."
Inside the Divine Realm, amidst the starry sky, Yun Lingwei moved swiftly. Her spiritual sense spread outward, searching for any trace of the intruder.
The air was thick with residual chaos energy, making detection difficult.
Then—
A faint ripple in space.
She spun, her hand already on her sword hilt—
But it was too late.
A figure stepped out from behind a shattered pillar.
Ren Yuan.
Yun Lingwei's eyes widened. Before she could draw her blade, an invisible force locked her in place, sealing her movements completely.
Ren Yuan smiled slightly. "I didn't expect to catch a big fish the moment I arrived."
Yun Lingwei's heart sank.
Without a doubt, Ren Yuan's strength had reached an unimaginable height. He was no longer Ren Yuan who could only run into hiding.
His aura was terrifying.
Ren Yuan didn't waste words. His third eye—the Heaven's Eye—opened on his forehead, its pupil-less depths swirling with hypnotic power.
"Submit."
"Ugh!" Yun Lingwei's mind recoiled. She resisted with all her might, her spiritual will clashing against the invasive force.
But it was futile.
Slowly, her struggles weakened.
Her eyes glazed over, her consciousness slipping away.
Ren Yuan's smile deepened.
"Good."
He leaned closer, whispering his commands into her ear.
"Return to Nine Firmament City. Wait for my signal. When the time comes... slaughter as many of Yun Lintian's people as you can."
Yun Lingwei's vacant eyes stared ahead as she nodded mechanically.
"Yes... Master."
With that, she turned and walked away, her movements stiff but purposeful.
Ren Yuan watched her go, his expression unreadable.
Beside him, Chun Yue stepped forward, her delicate features thoughtful.
"Will this really work?" she asked.
Ren Yuan chuckled. "It doesn't matter if it does. Chaos is all I need."
He looked towards the Primordial God Forsaken Land.
"Let's see how Yun Lintian handles this."
Ren Yuan didn't say anything further and left with Chun Yue.

Deep within the endless abyss of the Primordial God Forsaken Land, an ancient World Tree stood tall, its branches stretching endlessly into the void, its roots digging deep into the fabric of reality itself.
Beneath its shimmering canopy sat Ning Yue, her long black hair cascading over her white robes like ink spilled on snow. She had remained motionless for years, her consciousness merged with the World Tree's essence, comprehending its boundless mysteries.
Two figures stood guard nearby—Long Si and Long Wu, the Dragon God Ancestors. Their draconic auras radiated quietly, forming an impenetrable barrier around the sacred tree.
Long Wu crossed his arms, his golden eyes scanning the abyss. "Yun Lintian's return has stabilized the Primal Chaos for now. The situation isn't as dire as when the Primal Chaos Wall first broke."
Long Si frowned, his instincts sharp. "But this feels like the calm before a storm. Something is coming... something worse."
Long Wu glanced at the meditating Ning Yue. "How much longer do you think she needs?" fɾeewebnoveℓ.co๓
Long Si shook his head. "Who knows? The World Tree's power isn't something that can be mastered in mere years."
Just as he spoke—
Space rippled above them.
Two figures descended from the void—Ren Yuan and Chun Yue.
Long Si and Long Wu immediately tensed, their draconic might surging as they recognized the intruders.
"Ren Yuan!" Long Wu growled, his claws extending.
But Ren Yuan ignored them completely, his golden eyes locked onto the World Tree—and Ning Yue beneath it.
"Yun Lintian is ignorant," Ren Yuan murmured, his voice laced with disdain. "He doesn't understand the true value of this tree."
Chun Yue tilted her head curiously. "Master?"
Ren Yuan stepped forward, his gaze burning with greed. "The World Tree is the first creation of the universe, born from the Creator's purest essence. It is the root of all existence—the very foundation of reality itself."
Long Si's expression darkened. "So, you are coveting the World Tree?"
Ren Yuan finally looked at them, his lips curling into a mocking smile. "Covet? No. I will claim it."
With a snap of his fingers—
BOOM!
A terrifying pressure descended, crushing the space around them.
Long Wu roared, his draconic form beginning to manifest—
But Ren Yuan was faster.
His third eye snapped open, and a beam of golden light pierced through Long Wu's chest before he could fully transform.
"AGH—!"
Long Wu staggered, his body freezing mid-motion, his muscles locking as if time itself had stopped for him.
Long Si's eyes widened in shock. "Brother!"
He lunged at Ren Yuan, his claws slashing through space—
But Chun Yue intercepted him, her delicate hand catching his wrist effortlessly.
"Now, now," she chided, her voice sweet but her grip bone-crushing. "Don't be rude."
Long Si's face twisted in pain as his arm shattered under her grasp.
Ren Yuan didn't spare them another glance. He walked toward the World Tree, his hand outstretched—
Then—
Suddenly, a figure suddenly materialized before Ning Yue and blocked Ren Yuan's outreaching hand…
