My Werewolf System-Chapter 1319: The Golden Ring

While falling to the ground and seeing the fight from above, it had become quite clear to Gary that the way he was right now, in the form he was in, he wasn't strong enough to be of help to Edvard, that he would only slow him down.

If there were only five situations where he could use the Dragon Ash Lycan Form, then this was one of them.

[The transformation will consume all of your available energy. Your energy will be 0 once transformation ends.]

[All skills will be unavailable for a period of time after transformation ends.]

[The current form will only last a maximum of one minute. The user has unlimited energy to use in this time frame.]

The system messages had appeared, giving Gary a warning. He knew using this transformation was a risk, which was why he needed to give it everything he had before attempting it. His fur started to change color, turning slightly golden.

Wings started to appear from his back, but not like that of a dragon, as they were covered in fur. All of the pulsating volcanic energy that surrounded his body was starting to become golden-like in color.

Then around the sides of his body and his abdominal area, the fur was receding, and in its place, one could see the appearance of scales.

On the ground itself, Ylva was carefully analyzing all that she could, and she had thrown a spear. It had crashed right into the center of Edvard's chest, the flow of energy surrounded him, causing him to freeze.

'Damn it, I thought my luck had done me well avoiding those spears so far, but now it appears to have run out!'

Finally being hit by Ylva's spear, he could see Lupus running across, ready to give him a taste of his own medicine. The fist from Lupus was clenched, ready to attack the frozen Edvard. All Edvard could do was brace himself, drawing the energy of the armor.

As Edvard looked at Lupus, he saw a large golden beam shooting out from the sky. It crashed, landing right into the body of Lupus. The energy spread and consumed him, growing thicker and larger, and pushed him into the floor.

"What the… I was saved, and by some mystical energy?" Edvard looked at where the beam was coming from. Following along its trail, he couldn't believe his eyes for a moment.

"Is that a Werewolf with wings? I've never even seen something like that before." As Edvard looked closer, he realized that the appearance of the Wolf itself was quite similar to one he was fighting alongside not too long ago.

"Is that Gary… it has to be him!" Edvard realized.

Right now, Gary was using the Golden Blast, and he was doing so from quite a height. It was continuing to hit Lupus, but eventually something could be seen moving from within the energy.

A large swipe from a hand had ripped out a large chunk of the golden energy, a break from the constant barrage of the energy beam.

Lupus lifted both of his dark-clawed hands wide and started to grab the energy. Then with his legs on the ground, he jumped up, breaking right through the energy, and was heading straight towards Gary.

Seeing this, Gary stopped the Golden Blast, and rather than moving away, he flew right into where Lupus was and crashed into him. Lupus and Gary were locked in with their hands, claw and claw, and the two of them flew towards the floor.

Gary crashed into the ground with Lupus, sending another wave of crumbling and debris from the broken mountain flying in all directions. Opening his mouth, Gary blasted the golden energy again at Lupus.

Seeing this, a spear had gone out, heading towards Gary. Edvard had rushed to try and grab it, maybe even jump in front of it, until the spear had turned at a strange angle. She had already seen what Edvard was trying to do, and with her powers she could direct the spear slightly to where she wanted it to go.

It hit Gary right in the chest, and she believed she had stopped Gary in his tracks, but as the energy hit Gary's body, it did nothing.

"What… how can that be though? My spear has never had this effect." As Ylva looked at Gary's body, she noticed the dragon-like features, and realized that her fears, her worries of what Gary might become if he was to consume Harvor, were coming true.

Still, Lupus in his form was by no means weak. With his hand, he grabbed through the golden energy and grabbed Gary right by the mouth, slamming it shut. He then punched Gary in the stomach several times before kicking him and letting him drag his feet across the ground.

Lupus chased right after him, running forward. Gary fired several beams of energy, but Lupus was still able to knock them away with his hand and leapt right up towards Gary.

However, Gary had swiftly jumped up in the air, avoiding the strike altogether, and then dived right down, twirling his body. While he was going down, the golden energy started to flow out from him all over his body, enhancing his strength.

He was using the second skill he had in his current form.

[Overflow activated]

'This skill enhances everything about this form in a physical sense. Giving me the combined might of a dragon and a Werewolf. You're strong, Lupus, but have you ever met something stronger than you?' Gary claimed as he crashed into the floor along with Lupus, sending a golden shockwave through the city.

The appearance of a giant gold ring could be seen coming from the crumbled mountain in the distance.
