Before the dessert could come out. She had to make sure that everyone's mouth was cleansed of all spices and sweetness. Thus she brought out the dips and the wraps.

"These will cleanse your mouth and make sure that you all are ready for dessert." She spoke.

She told them which one she like the most and the second most. As for the third, it was decent but it was not overly good.

Each person began to eat two wraps. Their mouths did not enjoy the taste. This was meant to cleanse and not be as enjoyable. At least the dips made them easier to swallow.

Once everyone had two wraps. Their stomachs bulged and everyone felt that they had gained almost fifty pounds in that dip.

"I feel sick." Iris spoke.

"Yes. This is to cleanse your mouth and bodies of extra Qi. You all will feel the bulge of your stomach but everything will be fine once you cultivate. The longer you wait, the harder it is." The female trainer told the group.

The guardians and the trainers made sure that the young people were fine first. They could wait before their time to cultivate and ask them to watch.

As the young people began to cultivate. Their bellies began to shrink back to normal. The cultivation levels began to rise. Their normal Eighth Realm Qi began to surge forth the fastest. It reached the point that they were now ready to walk to the Stairway and break through it.

Their Soul Qi levels? This was another matter altogether. Lilith's rose almost to the 150 level of the Soul Temple. Iris and Liz rose to 125, Amber and Margaret to 130, and Violet on the other hand 149. Fenggo was surprised to also reach the 149 level. The maids all equaled at the 110 level. Oracle Aina also rose to the 130 level.

The guardians watching them wake up decided to say the meaning behind the words spoken long ago upon their entry.

The deepest layer is only worthy of those who fight against the strongest. Each of you have shown remarkable gains.

At least you all will remain together and be able to fight. As we have watched you, watch us to ensure our bodies are accepting the Soul Qi." The guardians all spoke.

The trainers waited. They knew how hard it was for the guardians to ensure their cultivation was spot on. Unlike the women who could gain their levels quickly, the guardians had to ensure that if they gained a level it was through hard work and determination in their cultivation.

They never really get a chance to cultivate because the floors cannot generate enough training dummies for them. That was just the one side. The other side is that they have to watch and be on guard against those who wish evil against the Soul Temple.

It would not be everyday nor a special day. Somewhere, someone, or something was always watching the Soul Temple and the city it was located in. The guardians and the mayor's select few had to defend the honor of protecting the Soul Temple.

Once the guardians finished their cultivation. None of them gained a level but their eyes showed that the next time would increase their levels to the max.

"Congratulations you three." The female trainer spoke.

The guardians were surprised that the trainers had not yet cultivated. This also made since because the women were too young and too inexperienced to help if something went wrong.

"Watch us please." The female trainer spoke.

The three trainers all sat down and cultivated. Their speed was faster than the young people around the guardians yet it was better than them because of the experience they had.

"Truly marvelous." The female trainer spoke.

It had only been TWO MINUTES, yes TWO MINUTES. Even the young ones took five in front of the guardians and trainers helping them out.

She had only cultivated for two minutes and broke whatever chains holding her back was. The two men would think that she did not cultivate and go against her own words. When the guardians would tell them it only took her two minutes. Even they felt cheated.

Once the two male trainers finished their breakthrough. All of them got a baked apple, a slice of pie, and one extra serving of meat that they enjoyed, within reason.

The joys on everyone's faces as they ate. Even the female trainer could not help but think that this was a fluke. The baked apples seemed to melt in the mouths with cinnamon bursting in after each chew. The pie broke the women's hearts.

It seemed to bring the worst feelings to their minds. The lemon brought the maximum amount of whatever was in the berries to the forefront.

The men felt that their pride had all been destroyed because the pie seemed to bring them down too much. That was just a single bite.

They felt that the baked apple was what was needed now. Upon taking that bite, their vigors were renewed with even greater strength. Only to fail at the next bite of pie.

For whatever reason, even the female trainer did not know, the pie just kept bringing the worst out in the group. All of them decided to just devour the pie and then switch to the apple.

Upon eating the pie back to back. A miracle found itself being in the fact that once it was gone. None of the people felt bad or feeling that they were down.

They quickly ate the apples. Their mentally all had gotten strengthened. To them this was even a bigger achievement than the breakthroughs the young ones had.

Strengthening body, mental, or spiritual is much harder and much more time consuming than normal cultivation. Even the simple act of trying to do it can kill cultivators because it drains one much faster than attacking either same Realm or higher cultivators.
