He didn't want to talk too much as he would be resurrecting Orochimaru as an undead anyway.

The undead would be the same as Orochimaru with the same personality and strength with the only difference being his fierce loyalty to Itsuki.

Orochimaru was far too volatile and Itsuki didn't want to co-operate with someone who wouldn't even blink while using newborn babies for experiment.

Itsuki wasn't weak enough to compromise on his morals or values , he was strong enough to make some compromises or cling to his ideals.

Hashirama could cling to his ideals and be a good person because he was strong while Yahiko had to die because he was weak.
