Chapter 184 - 184 : The Curtain Falls Finally!
"Die!!!"
Finn let out a low growl, and a burst of dazzling golden light erupted from the Sword of Vishanti.
It seemed capable of piercing through all reality in a single instant.
"Not good!!!"
The demon commander felt the overwhelming power of the sword. His heart pounded violently—an acute sense of imminent death surged within him.
Swish!!!
The Sword of Vishanti came crashing down, targeting the demon commander's head with divine precision, as if cleaving the very fabric of the cosmos.
Puff!!
The demon's skull split clean in two, his lifeless body collapsing onto the scorched earth.
"Hah!!"
Finn exhaled sharply.
The demon commander—was dead. At last.
Gazing at the mangled corpse before him, Finn allowed himself a rare moment of relief. If he hadn't killed the demon leader in a single strike, the consequences could've been catastrophic. That uncertainty had kept him on edge the entire time.
"Now to deal with the foot soldiers."
Finn didn't spare the corpse another glance. The leader was dead—irrelevant now.
The real priority was eliminating the hordes of lesser demons.
Only then could the entire Angel Faction seize a chance for survival.
If left unchecked, these fiends would continue to surge across dimensions, a fatal threat to all.
Because of this, Finn didn't waste time reflecting or doubting. Gripping the Sword of Vishanti tighter, he pivoted and charged toward the chaos—toward the Dark Witch and the others.
While these lesser demons weren't particularly powerful individually, their numbers posed a real danger.
At that moment...
Elsewhere on the battlefield, swarms of demonic entities—still unaware of their commander's death—continued their onslaught with manic intensity.
The ground ran slick with blood, forming crimson rivers that reflected the red-soaked sky above. Reality itself felt warped. The battlefield looked like something out of Dormammu's domain or one of the Dark Dimension's many horrors.
It was impossible to gauge the full picture anymore. The dead lay in tangled heaps—both demons and Angel warriors.
Some fighters were so drenched in blood, their features were indistinguishable.
"The number of these things is rising... Are we just going to keep fighting like this forever?"
Wanda Maximoff—better known now as the Dark Witch—looked exhausted. Her powers remained formidable, enhanced by chaos magic and reinforced by ancient arcane knowledge, but the relentless enemy waves were beginning to take a toll.
A prolonged battle would favor the demons. Wanda knew this.
"Finn is fighting their commander. I don't know what's happened yet."
Dark Witch responded between attacks, her scarlet beams lashing out in furious arcs. The strain in her voice was evident.
She had faced similar infernal hordes during the Incursion Crisis—but this? This felt more overwhelming.
They had to annihilate the demons quickly.
If the creatures were allowed to keep regenerating and charging, even supreme mystics like Wanda or Finn would eventually be overwhelmed.
BOOM!!!
At that instant...
Finn burst through the fray like a meteor, landing atop a slab of shattered stone that had once been a temple altar. His entrance was like a god's descent. No unnecessary theatrics—only sheer combat force.
"Finn, you're finally here!!"
Wanda's eyes widened. Relief washed over her as she saw he was unscathed. "Did you take out their commander?"
"Let's deal with the demons first."
Finn's smile was calm, but his eyes glowed with fierce resolve.
He wasn't interested in discussing the fight. All that mattered now was the purge.
The demons needed to be erased.
"I'll follow your lead."
Wanda didn't press further. She understood. Words wouldn't change anything. Only action mattered now.
She steadied herself, power crackling at her fingertips.
Finn took to the skies. Hovering mid-air, he looked down on the battlefield. The Sword of Vishanti shimmered, becoming partially ethereal, resonating with energy drawn from the Astral Plane and beyond.
The air warped around him. Currents of raw energy distorted the atmosphere, forming an invisible vortex around the sword.
Soon, it began to radiate an overwhelming sword intent—an aura so powerful it seemed capable of slicing reality itself.
"You demons... it's time to die."
The air trembled as if recognizing what was to come. The sword intent grew even more unstable—erratic, violent, and deeply unsettling.
Swish!!!
With a flick of his wrist, the blade unleashed its fury.
The sword energy carved through the battlefield below like divine retribution. Blinding white light cascaded outward in waves, engulfing everything in sight. The very fabric of the God Realm trembled, the sacred space reacting violently to such concentrated power.
The ground fractured and split apart.
Thick fog and smoke rose like steam from Hell's gate.
The air ignited with heat waves as the violent sword energy accelerated across the field.
Even the demons charging headfirst faltered. Their earlier courage faded, replaced with paralyzing fear. They could sense it—the sheer destructive power about to descend upon them.
Energy radiated from the Sword of Vishanti like a cosmic predator, hungry and omnipresent. freēwēbnovel.com
And still... some demons tried to run.
"Can you escape?"
Finn's voice was low, cold.
He released another burst of energy, scattering it outward in all directions.
BOOM!!!!
The explosions were deafening.
It felt like the end of the world.
The entire dimension convulsed as if on the verge of collapse. Spacetime cracked. Veins of unstable magic surged across the sky.
The battlefield trembled under the magnitude of it all.
Fleeing demons evaporated under the intense sword intent. Not even their ashes remained.
No matter how fast they tried to run, the energy had already marked them.
The Sword of Vishanti carried the essence of cosmic law—once targeted, there was no hiding, no escape.
They were erased from existence.
All around, reality stabilized slowly, returning to silence.
What had once been a battlefield was now a smoldering ruin. The bodies of fallen warriors—both demon and Angel—lay still, as if the realm itself mourned.
Wanda finally landed beside Finn, who stood quietly, sword in hand, golden light fading.
"You really did it."
"Not yet."
Finn's eyes turned toward the far horizon—beyond the scorched battlefield.
He could still sense something... something worse.
A ripple in reality...

You've made it this far—through plot twists, emotional punches, and probably a few explosions.
But wait... you haven't ADDED this story to your COLLECTION, dropped a REVIEW, or hurled a POWER STONE like Thor with Mjolnir?
Tony Stark would be disappointed.
Captain America would silently judge you.
And Deadpool? He'd break the fourth wall just to roast you.
Every collection is like giving this story its own Infinity Stone.
Every review? That's the equivalent of handing the author a Stark-tech upgrade.
And Power Stones? Literally in the name. Give them. Or Thanos wins.
