Chapter 185: NIGHTMARE (2)

THE LAW of this country doesn’t care if Omegas and women are raped— especially if the perpetrator is an Alpha, but they draw the line in possessing or using illegal drugs.

Sohee scoffed while watching the news on TV.

Sanha and Lee Junsu were all over the news, shaking the entire country.

Lee Junsu went to jail for taking miracle pills, which falls under drug abuse. On the other hand, Sanha went to jail for distributing miracle pills, which are considered illegal drugs.

However...

"Lee Junsu was handed out a one-year prison term, suspended for two years, and a fine of three million won," Hong Sera said, sighing while shaking her head. "But he’ll only probably serve six months in jail. It’s almost the same for Sanha, but he’ll probably serve longer since he’s found guilty of distributing miracle pills."

Oh.

Right now, Sohee was resting at his in-laws’ house.

Hong Sera didn’t have a class that day, so they ended up hanging out in the living room.

He craved for pizza, so they ordered two boxes and ate them while watching TV.

I really waited for this since I want to see Sanha and Lee Junsu losing their careers with my very own eyes.

"Their jail time doesn’t matter since that’s not our goal anyway," Sohee said while shaking his head. "Most of the people in this country can forgive rapists, but not drug users. Sanha and Lee Junsu’s careers as idols are over. That’s the punishment I want for them."

However, there was one thing that he was upset about.

"Too bad Song Sihyuk won’t be punished the way I wanted."

"Right?" Hong Sera agreed while nodding. "Sihyuk Oppa was charged with bribery and embezzlement. But, according to my brothers, Sihyuk Oppa’s prison term is just a jail stint."

Yes, Song Sihyuk was sent to jail for those reasons.

Garam Hyung-nim was actually the whistleblower, but of course, only a few knew about it. But I don’t think Sihyuk-ssi would get his revenge on Garam Hyung-nim.

"My brothers heard the chairman of SG Group has already made a deal with the current president. So, they’re expecting Sihyuk Oppa to only stay in prison for a year, then he’ll be released after being granted a special presidential pardon."

Right.

And, even if Song Sihyuk serves his time in prison for a year, I’m sure he’ll be treated like a VIP there.

So, it was actually just like a vacation for the SG Group heir.

Sohee just comforted himself with the fact that Lim Garam was the one who sent Song Sihyuk to prison.

I hope Sihyuk-ssi is dying from agony after being betrayed by the love of his life.

Anyway, there was one more thing that he was upset about.

"People care more about celebrities than chaebol heirs," Sohee complained lightly. "They’re talking more about Sanha and Lee Junsu than the heir of SG Group going to prison."

"Well, Sanha and Lee Junsu’s fans have created a "fanfiction" that’s better than what any PR Team could have come up with," Hong Sera said, frowning. "Their fans are romanticizing the fact that Lee Junsu took illegal drugs. Apparently, it’s "romantic" how Lee Junsu wanted to turn into an Omega for Sanha."

Yes, the fact that Sanha was an Alpha had also been exposed.

Sanha-ssi gained more fans after people fond out that he’s an Alpha.

Haaah.

So frustrating.

Idol stans are scary— some of them will really choose their idols over their morals.

"If there’s a chance that Sanha and Lee Junsu could make a showbiz comeback, I’ll abuse my power as a chaebol’s husband and have them blacklisted in the entertainment industry," Sohee said bitterly. "I don’t want to see them succeed as idols while Kim Heedo is still in a coma."

"Oppa, Yang Jaewon’s family owns one of the biggest broadcasting companies in the country. And they’re on our side," Hong Sera consoled him. "We will manipulate the media if we have to so that Sanha and Lee Junsu could never work as idols again."

That was a relief.

I’m sure my in-laws wouldn’t let Sanha and Lee Junsu make a comeback after they get released from prison.

"Oppa, what are you planning to do now?"

"I don’t want to stay cooped up at home."

"But you should be resting a lot, Oppa."

"I feel like I’m going to go insane from overthinking if I stay here alone," Sohee said, sighing. "So, I want to continue attending university. I’m going to finish this semester, as planned."

Of course, he would visit Kim Heedo once he got the green light to do so.

I still need to rest a bit since I keep having fainting spells these days.

"Sohee Oppa, are you still thinking about it?" Hong Sera asked carefully. "Divorcing Heedo, I mean."

"Yes, I’m still thinking about it," Sohee said, clutching his chest tightly. "As much as I’m worried about Kim Heedo, I’m still upset that he tried to die for someone else when he has a pregnant husband waiting for him."

IT WAS a little over two months of pregnancy when Sohee found out that he was carrying not just one but two little beans in his womb.

Yes, he was pregnant with twins. frёeωebɳovel.com

The doctor who did the ultrasound check had confirmed it earlier.

"Congratulations, dear," President Kang Nari said, obviously happy for him. His mother-in-law accompanied him to his regular check-up that day. After that, they were planning to visit Kim Heedo. "I can’t believe you’re having twins like I did."

Sohee couldn’t believe it either.

Of course, he was happy.

But for some reason, he felt like crying— and so he did.

"Sohee-ya, what’s wrong?" President Kang Nari asked worriedly while hugging his shoulders. "Are you in pain? Should I call the doctor?"

"Mother-in-law, we’re having twins. I have two lives in my womb, and yet Kim Heedo stupidly risked his life for someone else," Sohee said between sobs. "Is it wrong for me to resent Kim Heedo while he’s in a coma?"

"IT’S OVER, Sohee-ssi."

Oh.

Sohee found himself confined in the hospital’s VIP Room once again after he fainted earlier.

He cried his heart out after finding out that he was having twins.

When he woke up, he was already in that room.

And Shaman Jung shared what the shaman believed to be good news for Sohee.

Well, it is good news. But I don’t have the strength to feel anything at the moment.

"Kim Heedo had already repaid what his family owed to Lee Junsu," Shaman Jung said. "Lee Junsu will never be a threat to you and your family anymore. In fact, I don’t see anyone else who could threaten your position as Kim Heedo’s spouse, Sohee-ssi."

Sohee should be happy after hearing that.

But, to be honest, he couldn’t feel any joy in his heart.

Well, maybe I am happy— I just can’t fully grasp it at the moment.

Because, right now, all he felt was exhaustion, disappointment, and resentment.

"Is that so?" Sohee asked weakly. "Then maybe you didn’t see me divorcing Kim Heedo coming, Shaman Jung."
