Manga World: Bringing Steam Technology to the World of Sanctuary-Chapter 128: Transformation Mode: Metaria
Chapter 128 - Transformation Mode: Metaria
"Nephilim, so call the first mortals born on this plane. Talented and powerful. But fickle and corruptible.
We taught them the arts of controlling cosmic energies and mortals used them to destroy themselves.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA"
"I learned that it was -Rathma- and -Esu- who taught magic to humans..."
"Where did you learn those names from?" Andariel showed a surprised look at the names that came out of the mouth of the little girl of no more than thirteen years old.
"Old Cain has books that talk about the history of humanity"
"Cain? The mortal locked up in that human city. He seems to be a descendant of the so-called Horadrim or something... It doesn't matter; he won't live long~
But as a descendant of that group of mortals, it is normal for me to know that knowledge."
'Poor Cain, the Prime Evils look down on him in knowledge~' Christel thought as he saw Andariel thinking and running her tongue over her lips. Her tongue forked. And a long one.
But Christel has the trust and even loyalty of the Rogues. Deckard Cain has been watching him with suspicious expressions.
But Christel hasn't minded, and even though if it weren't for Akara Christel wouldn't have touched Cain's books and scrolls, he hasn't been bothered by it.
Cain has always been a suspicious person. That has helped him live for a long time.
"HA!" Christel moved his Staff and two rings of bones appeared in front of him, dampening two wisps of electricity.
"Your battle experience is good little one~"
"I have been taught by the best teachers, especially the barbarians and Amazons, to never let your guard down and stop seeing the enemy in front of you or the environment"
Christel waved his staff again, and more rings of bones blocked wisps of electricity that approached silently and invisibly around him.
"It's amazing that you can use -Bone Shields- like this, and conjure several Bone Shields~
But can you stop this? ~ {Chain of Lightning}" Andariel, although all magic can be cast without the need to chant spells, I mention the name of magic to keep the little golden-haired girl on her toes.
Christel's pupils shrank as he saw a great deal of lightning and thunder coming from the walls, pillars, and ceiling of the Cathedral's nave.
Instantly, Christel raised his magic Moon staff, and a small tornado of water and wind began to surround him, creating a rotating sphere of water and wind. Walls of earth were also erected around the sphere of water and wind.
Walls of bones covered the earthen walls almost instantly. All this happened in less than half a second when lightning and thunder began to bombard Christel from all sides.
With a *GWAAN* the lightning struck and with a *SHAAAAAN* they lit up the entire monastery.
The sky seemed to be torn apart with sounds of *ZAAK* TZZZZT*, noises of objects breaking under the power of thunder with loud sounds of *CRAAK*
It didn't seem to matter what kind of defensive magic Christel used. All shields were shattered under the power of lightning.
It seemed that Andariel wanted to test the total limit of the little girl with blond hair as the sun.
The entire nave of the cathedral was destroyed. The pillars were knocked down next to the roof they supported, the walls no longer offered protection to the outside.
Andariel didn't care about the building. She just stared towards the spot where the little golden-haired girl was, with a look of strangeness on her divinely demonic face.
Then suddenly Andariel, with her four limbs on her back, lifted the ground like a shield and crossed her arms in the form of a cross for protection.
Instantly, an invisible force struck the raised ground, destroying it and impacting Andariel's white arms.
"AHHG!" shouted Andariel as she felt the invisible impact. The blow pushed Andariel back in a recoil from the force of the impact. Dragging its six-meter snake tail.
"What energy is that?" Andariel murmured.
The dust disappeared from the place where Christel was with the help of a wind current. In the place, Christel was kept floating and under his feet there was a crater caused by the multiple lightning strikes.
"That scared me~" Christel smiled looking at Andariel.
"I knew you were hiding your strength..." Andariel looked at the golden-haired girl who floated, scanning her from top to bottom.
Christel's Queen of the Moon dress, which was once pure white, now has violet details and embellishments.
The style of the Queen dress now has a hint of lust. The ankle-length dress now has a slit on Christel's left leg that goes up to his hip.
On Christel's tiny feet are a pair of violet crystal slippers and a necklace with a red stone lights up on his collarbone.
A pair of violet stone earrings hang from Christel's earlobes, just as on his silver crown there is now a violet stone in the center of the rising moon.
A purple belt tightens Christel's waist showing his curves in his dress and the sleeveless part of the blouse has a neckline showing the breasts full of youth and hope of greatness towards the future.
Christel's golden hair swayed behind his loosely, as if in the water of a calm lake. And in his left hand, instead of a silver magic staff of Luna is a silver sword with violet hilt and black pointing downwards.
From the silver blade of the sword, as well as around Christel, wisps of dark clouds swirl. The clouds seem as if they swallow the light, but silver light keeps emanating from Christel's body.
Christel's beautiful pink eyes glow in a fluorescent light and Christel maintains an expression with a mocking yet sensual smile.
But what Andariel realized was the red stone on Christel's collarbone. Dancing with a golden chain around the white neck of the little girl with golden hair and bright pink eyes.
It is a very small stone fragment that Christel managed to place in the center of the sun from his cat charm on his chest.
But now it's bigger and has swallowed the whole cat charm and keeps the fragment of scarlet red stone glowing like frozen blood.
"That's it, a fragment of the -World Stone-..."
"Mmm~ It was inevitable~" Christel knew that facing an Andariel with 17 years of cultivation was not easy. Although Lani is the human form of Andariel. Since Diablo escaped from his prison, Andariel has jumped at the chance to return to the pinnacle of her power on the planet of Sanctuary.
In the Diablo 1 video game, Diablo used the heroes for his incarnation in this world. Unlike Andariel who used a method of reincarnation and rebirth. Diablo chose to possess the most powerful Hero and use his body as a medium to bring his essence from the Plane of Hell to the Plane of Sanctuary.
Both methods have their pros and cons. Diablo can regain his power faster while Andariel who was born as a human, has to grow step by step as a mortal and cultivate her human body to receive her essence from the hellish plane.
She may not be able to bring all her essence in 100 years, but at 33 years old she must already have a great power that not just any mortal can face.
In the Diablo 2 video game, the heroes defeat Andariel who had just captured the Rogue Monastery for up to a year of time. That makes it be in its weakest state.
Andariel is the first Boss and Act 1 is like a tutorial. But in this real-world thing are not like that. The Rogues were exiled from their monastery 17 years ago, time for Andariel to achieve great power, even if she had slacked off all this time.
So Christel has no choice but to bring Metaria inside the World Stone fragment.
"This power of darkness, Little One. It's not yours, isn't it?"
"Nn~ let me introduce you to Metaria~" Christel's sweet voice, now with very feminine undertones imbued with flirtatiousness, replied to Andariel now with a serious expression.
Behind Christel, a cloud of darkness began to form a female silhouette slightly taller than Christel.
Although she looks like a featureless shadow, her silhouette is exactly like Christel's, with wide hips and a small waist, the curve of her breasts is noteworthy next to slender arms, and slender and long legs.
A long hair extends behind the black silhouette. If it wasn't floating on Christel's back, it seemed like it's just her shadow. But the movements are different from Christel's.
"Let's start Round Two~"
In front of Christel, icy spheres appeared out of nowhere that flickered in silver and black as if they were the beating of a heart.
Three black-silver icy spheres flew towards Andariel, but this time the Frozen Orbs were faster.
At the same time, the soft sound of something breaking the wind was heard.
Out of nowhere, multiple blows hit an Andariel who had crossed her arms and limbs with claws on her back again. Andariel had coiled around her tail and used it as a shield as well.
These impacts were Metaria's invisible attacks. As if they were space rays.
