Legendary Traveler: By Earning Progress Points I will Become Supreme!-Chapter 285: School Life Begins (1)
Emberstone Forgemaster University, or EFU for short, may not be a top-tier college. However, that didn't mean they didn't have their fair share of prestige. In fact, some of the country's top Craftsmen came from EFU.
Touting a large number of experienced Mid-Tier crafters, in the form of professors, it was considered to be among the top 10 schools a newbie traveler could get into, and as Aoni stepped out of his cab, he was overwhelmed by hundreds of young adults swarming around like chickens with their heads cut off.
Couples flirting in public, nerdy kids getting bullied, and yes, even a few fights here and there; however, none of that really mattered because Captain Steady was, of course, about to float under the radar as per usual.
'And you're totally sure that my Aura isn't leaking, nor my Energia Radiation, or my…' Cutting through the crowd like a phantom while wearing a black hoodie and jeans, Aoni fired off questions to his Attribute notice one after another.
The Host is beginning to hemorrhage Progress Points, it's best if they just calm down and take things one at a time
All the Host's information will appear as documented on their admission forms; there is no need to worry about being discovered
'Yeah, sure, sure you said the SAME thing about Mom, but look at what happened there, she totally realized how much bigger I've gotten!' He grumbled while arriving at a large building with a sign indicating it was meant for Admissions.
That was merely motherly instinct, of course, Lea Thurston would notice the minute changes in the host's appearance
'Bull shit, I SWEAR THAT WOMAN HAS A SIXTH SENSE FOR POWER!'
Unlikely, Lea Thurston is a mundane
'Tell that to all the stories about supernatural events.' Aoni snorted while merging into a line of new students wishing to get their documents in order.
| Rather than being worried about being found out, the host should be more concerned with their documented stagnation | fгee𝑤ebɳoveɭ.cøm
'…'
'That was youre idea dumbass!'
…
'That's what I thought.'
"Next in line." Unbeknownst to Aoni, he'd absentmindedly ended up at the front, and when a school clerk called him, he'd ignored her at first.
"COUGH, next in line!" The clerk, a woman in her forties with lime green hair, stated after clearing her throat loud enough to break Aoni out of his Argument with the floating chatbox.

With documents completed, a dorm assigned, and an ID card in hand, Aoni swiftly left the Admissions office and headed toward a cluster of buildings where students would reside.
Mind you, if they didn't want to, that was entirely up to them; however, since he was a scholarship student, free room and board were on the table, so why not take advantage of such a thing?
Completely ignoring the people around him, Aoni soon arrived on the fourth floor of a residential apartment building, used his Commu to unlock the door, and stepped into the room which would be his home away from home for the next four years.
Two bedrooms, a bathroom, a living room, and a small kitchen, that was what he was staring at, and to make matters worse, there wasn't a single piece of furniture.
Luckily, he'd already planned for this. After spending around an hour or two tidying up, his new dorm didn't look half bad…a far cry from his Manor back on Genovia, but definitely several steps up from his small bedroom at his parents' house.
Deet deet deet
Right as Aoni put the last of his food into the fridge, his commu went off, causing him to check it and frown.
"And so it begins…" reaching into his right front pocket, he plucked out a pair of earbuds, put one in his right ear, and placed a video call to…
"AHHH, my baby. *Sniffle* You're already grown up, and I miss you so much. It seems like just yesterday I was holding you in my arms and making you giggle by pinching those chubby little cheeks, and now that sweet baby boy is in COLLEGEEEE boohoo." Lea's weepy voice blasted his eardrum as her face appeared as a hologram in front of his outstretched arm.
"Mom, I haven't even been gone half a day yet…" Aoni tried to say, only to get cut off immediately.
"IT DOESN'T MATTER! You barely came home the last few months, and when you did, it wasn't to spend time with your poor Mommy. How will I ever recover?" She said dramatically while throwing a hand over her forehead for added effect.
"Uh..uhh…hey MOM, I forgot to tell you, I left a present for you in my room, how bout you go check it for me." Thinking fast and remembering he'd accidentally forgotten something on his desk back home, Aoni didn't hesitate in using it as an excuse to stop Lea from crying.
"A present, you say? Where is it?" And clearly it worked like a charm, because within a minute, Lea raced upstairs to Aoni's bedroom and began snooping around for whatever could be considered a present.
"It's on my desk, in a small box…yeah, that one, open it up."
Following her son's directions, and placing her Commu down to get a good shot of herself, Lea opened the box and found a few recording crystals.
"Are these?"
"Yep, Glacia, Nyria, Blixt, and the twins wanted to send you some videos as a thank you for all the snacks you send me back with each time." Aoni lied through his teeth.
Okay, well technically it wasn't a total bullshit lie, those crystals were infact recorded with the purpose of showing off his summons to Lea, but she didn't need to know that…right? RIGHT!
"Ohhhh myyy gosssshh look at herrrr, SHES SO BIG, AhhhhhH!" Before Aoni could get another word in, Lea activated the crystal using a small Energia Battery, and the scene of Glacia playing around in the snow appeared on the wall of Aoni's bedroom.
"I gotta go, sweety, thanks for the present, hehe,"

"Wow…that worked surprisingly well, hah," Aoni said, wearing a dumb grin. He shook his head and walked out of his kitchen toward the living room, where he'd left his backpack.
"I guess this is my life on Terra now, doing normal student things…NOPE Don't raise a flag Aoni you stupid fucker," smacking his cheeks, and stopping himself from saying something idiotic to raise a death flag, Aoni left his dorm and headed toward the auditorium for orientation.
