Chapter 1684: 1092 Great Disasters of Heaven and Earth

If one wishes to set rules for others, the rule-setter must first abide by them; only then can they restrain others. But if the rule-setter takes the lead in breaking their own rules, those rules become nothing but empty words.

Just like Pangu Taiqing, if he wants his theories to be recognized by others, he must adhere to them himself. But he does not, so how can others trust him?

"Hmph, the Witch Clan lost their virtue, causing the Prehistoric World to shatter. Being the rightful successor of Pangu, it’s only natural for me to take their place."

Pangu Taiqing let out a cold snort, completely unmoved.

"The Witch Clan lost their virtue, yet you haven’t? Let’s not even discuss whether the destruction of the Heavenly Realm is related to you; when the Netherworld’s reincarnation was flawed, you who claim such lofty virtue—why didn’t you take the initiative to incarnate as reincarnation?"

"When the Netherworld was flawed, you were nowhere to be seen. Now that Mother Hou Tu has repaired it to perfection, here you are shamelessly claiming to be its master."

"Such an attitude, truly laughable."

"To share the same title as a Great Divine Transcendent with you is an embarrassment. To have Pangu’s name adorn you brings nothing but disgrace to the Great God Pangu."

Jiang Chen’s scathing remarks showed no mercy, his tone full of disdain. His face displayed outright disgust, as if even speaking to the other party brought him immense shame.

"Ignorant brat, you know nothing of the Mandate of Heaven."

"The Father God transformed into all things, fully giving his essence to the Prehistoric World. How could any of his divine blood remain? It should’ve all merged with the world."

"Thus, the Twelve Ancestral Witches are unnatural anomalies that should not exist. It is precisely their existence that has caused the Prehistoric World to be flawed, preventing it from achieving perfection."

"The Twelve Ancestral Witches, along with Pangu’s heart, ought to merge into the Prehistoric World as soon as possible. Only by fusing fully with Heaven and Earth can the natural order be restored."

"Hou Tu incarnated reincarnation—it was her mission, and she deserves praise for this. But this does not make her the master of the Netherworld. Her destiny is to be the lord of reincarnation, not the master of the Netherworld."

Pangu Taiqing found it laughable. Jiang Chen dared to reason with him, clearly unaware that as Pangu, he himself was reason. He was the Tao.

"By your logic, the Witch Clan shouldn’t exist, and the entire Prehistoric World should be under your control. Even the Taoist Ancestors should bow to you."

"Heh..."

"Your arrogance, Daoist friend, utterly exceeds my expectations. With merely a supreme saint’s cultivation, you dare proclaim yourself Lord of Honghuang, dismissing all the world’s mighty figures as nothing."

"Now I understand why you haven’t dared to appear until today. It turns out you were afraid that if you showed yourself too early, someone would kill you."

Though his tone remained scornful, Jiang Chen’s thoughts had already begun to churn. He found that Pangu Taiqing’s words made a great deal of sense.

Since Pangu Great God decided to transform himself into all things, he should’ve completed the transformation entirely. If that were the case, why would his heart and twelve drops of divine blood remain? This was evidently a mistake; the transformation wasn’t thorough.

If it had been thorough, there would’ve been no Twelve Ancestral Witches or Witch Clan. They would’ve simply become part of Heaven and Earth, making it stronger.

This logic, upon first hearing, seemed completely sound. After carefully reflecting on it, Jiang Chen still couldn’t find any flaws. He even extended the idea to produce speculations that could overturn the foundations of the Prehistoric World.

To elaborate, if the Twelve Ancestral Witches were products of an incomplete transformation, what about the Sanqing? What about other innate saints and innate demons? Could they not also be the "leftovers" of Pangu’s incomplete transformation?

One must know that the innate saints and innate demons of this world are fundamentally connected to Pangu Great God, being formed from his Original Source to varying extents.

If Pangu Great God were to fully transform into all things, the Ancestral Witches couldn’t stay, and neither could the Sanqing, nor any other innate saints or innate demons.

As this speculation emerged in Jiang Chen’s mind, he was startled by his own recklessness, feeling alarmed at daring to entertain such dangerous thoughts.

But the more he thought, the more logical his speculation seemed, even leading to an entire system of reasoning that aligned with it.

For instance, why are innate saints born so powerful?

If they were formed from the "leftovers" of Pangu’s incomplete transformation, then their innate power is perfectly understandable.

This is because Pangu’s "leftovers" are inherently part of the Heavenly Earthly Origin. Since the innate saints were formed from these remnants, they essentially embody portions of Heaven and Earth, which is why they are born with dominion over heavenly authority and immense power.

Following this line of logic, it suggests that these innate saints fundamentally should not exist—they ought to merge into Heaven and Earth, strengthening it.

A perfect Prehistoric World, in theory, wouldn’t produce innate saints. Instead, innately born living beings and later creations would constitute the mainstream of existence.

Innate demons are nothing but ailments of the world. Far from being part of the cosmic cycle, they obstruct the natural order.

Thus, the more innate saints that are born, the weaker Heaven and Earth become. This also explains why the Ancient Era was so prosperous.

Because in the preceding two eras, many innate saints fell, returning their Original Source to Heaven and Earth, which made the world more complete and cultivation naturally easier.

But after the Ancient Era, large-scale annihilation of innate saints became rare, and so Heaven and Earth gradually grew weaker.

"The innate saints who should not have been born—once they emerge, they’re like ailments of the world, severely hindering its development. Only by eradicating them can Heaven and Earth return to their true form."

Jiang Chen did not dare to think any further. He feared that if he continued, he would become an enemy of the entire world and meet a sorrowful demise.
