I've Become the King of Villains in the Game-Chapter 732 - 458 Assassination_2
Chapter 732 -458 Assassination_2
Chen Lun put away the Flicker Incarnation and turned to look toward the other end of the street.
“The Yake Royal Family… let’s just grab them while we’re at it.”
Whoosh, he disappeared from the spot.

“Mom, where are we going?”
Inside the carriage, the young Princess Asoka leaned fearfully into the Queen’s embrace, nervously and blankly asking.
The Queen opened her mouth but didn’t speak. At first, she silently stroked her daughter’s flaxen hair, and then in a gentle voice said,
“Your Father King will take us to a safe place, where we can enjoy peaceful days and no longer be troubled by all sorts of insignificant matters.”
“Can we return to Neitmoni then? Although I don’t like it there… it’s the only place I’m familiar with.”
Princess Asoka said softly.
The Queen was somewhat absent-minded. She sighed inwardly, not wanting to disappoint her daughter; thus, she didn’t answer her question. Asoka, being perceptive, quickly grasped her mother’s meaning. Tears flickered in her eyes, but she bravely kept from crying out loud.
At that moment, the carriage came to a sudden stop, and the shouts of the Guardians and various noises came from outside.
“Mom… Has the enemy caught up with us?”
Asoka asked cautiously upon seeing the change in her mother’s face.
The Queen forced a smile and reassured her daughter that wasn’t the case.
“Asoka, stay in the carriage, do not go out, and do not peek. Mommy will be right back.”
Asoka obediently nodded her head.
As the Queen anxiously lifted the carriage curtain and stepped out, she found that the convoy had already left Nabile Forest Castle and arrived at a secluded grove. Her husband, Tiha Moyier, stood with the rest of the Royal Family members, their expressions grave as they faced a man in a black hat blocking the way.
Both parties were in a standoff, with Soldiers surrounding the man in a tight circle, holding Flintlock Guns aimed at him as if ready to trigger them at any moment and riddle him with bullets.
“Get out of the way if you want to live! You fool!”
One of the members of the Royal Family, a young man with stubble but a somewhat young-looking face, frowned and shouted. Chen Lun glanced at the young man but ignored him.
“Are all the members of the Yake Royal Family here?”
He turned his gaze to Tiha Moyier, smiled slightly, and asked in a voice as light as if speaking to an old friend.
Tiha Moyier’s brow furrowed deeply, uncertain about the identity and intention of this stranger. As they were currently in escape, he was extremely vigilant about this unexpected blockade.
The King looked aside, seeking confirmation from his Head Guardian with his eyes.
The latter, a big bearded burly man clad in plate armor, noticed his sovereign’s glance, suppressed his utmost unease, and stiffly gave Tiha a subtle shake of his head.
Seeing this, the King’s heart sank.
Not even the Head Guardian had confidence, indicating that the man in the black hat was a formidable enemy.
“What do you want, sir?”
The King asked solemnly.
“What do I want?”
The young man in the black hat laughed lightly and then raised his hand, extending a finger, pointing first at Tiha Moyier, then toward the Queen behind him, and finally sweeping past a few Princes and all other Royal Family members present.
He didn’t articulate his intent, yet he said it all.
The King and the other Royal Family members instantly understood the man’s implication… this person’s target was the Royal Family, whether for kidnapping or for their lives was unknown!
“Presumptuous! Who do you think you are?!”
The young Royal Family member who previously scolded Chen Lun to make way cursed angrily.
He was about to say more when King Tiha raised a hand to stop him, warning him with a stern gaze.
“Bai Luzha, that’s enough.”
Out of respect for his uncle, the young man immediately shut his mouth, but the veins on his forehead were still visibly throbbing, showing his agitation.
King Tiha turned to Chen Lun and asked calmly,
“Are you a Transcendent from the Imperial Military or do you serve other powers?”
Chen Lun pinched the brim of his hat and smiled slightly.
“Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself… I am the Governing Officer of the Generous Council, Jack Spett. Please come with me, and as long as you behave, I will not hurt you.”
Tiha Moyier was suddenly silent.
He knew of the Church his counterpart mentioned, which was one of the Seven Gods Church under the Empire. He never expected that the young man before him was one of its higher-ups… Moreover, given that the man dared to intercept their convoy alone, he must be confident in his ability.
Tiha felt uncertain.
Dark and conflicted thoughts flashed in his eyes.
He did not want to be threatened like this, having himself and his family become captives, their future lives and freedom at the mercy of another… Yet, he could not assess the full extent of the man’s strength and feared that a hasty conflict would bring about his death.
After years of ruling, he maintained a facade of calmness, but the deliberation in his heart was swift… He had made a choice and decided to test the waters first. If it turned out the man was indeed troublesome, it would not be too late to yield.
However, if the man was merely bluffing, he must be made to pay a heavy price!
“So it seems that you’ve come to eradicate us root and branch… after this battle, the Yake Kingdom will cease to exist. Why not grant the Moir Family a way out?”
Tiha Moyier said gravely.
Meanwhile, his fingers brushed lightly against the azure gemstone ring hidden behind his back.
“What do you want? As long as I can afford it, I can give it to you… gold? Treasures? Or transcendent items? Mystical knowledge?”
