I've Become the King of Villains in the Game-Chapter 724 - 455 Nobody Understands Players Better Than Me_2
Suha the Nun voiced her conjecture.
The Priest Kuni nodded in agreement.
"Through observation, it can be found that such monsters possess extremely strong physical abilities, are impervious to pain, lack humanity, and have only a strong desire to kill... These are no longer within the category of Transcendents or Supernatural Creatures. They should be classified as some kind of ritual product."
Upon hearing this, General Vance and the senior military officials frowned even more deeply.
The general then turned his gaze to the young man in a black hat at the far right, seemingly asking for his opinion.
"To be precise, it is a sacrificial ritual perfected by the Red Apple Church or the Rose Royal Family, drawing inspiration from the research of ’Desecrated Duke’ Ragnar. The main principle involves using high temperatures and blood rain to transform ordinary people into a type of corrupted creature called ’Fallen Flesh Puppets’..."
Chen Lun, leaning on his Silver Staff, spoke calmly.
Suha the Nun and Priest Kuni showed surprise on their faces, not expecting this young man to know so much and to see through the opponent’s secrets at a glance.
"High temperatures...?"
General Vance did not question it; after hearing Chen Lun’s words, he fell into contemplation. Then he looked up at the catapults not far away and cursed in a low voice:
"Damn Beelzebub, it seems that everything was prepared in advance."
Taking a deep breath, the general turned around and asked the three if they were confident they could eradicate all the "Fallen Flesh Puppets."
Suha the Nun and Priest Kuni immediately showed difficulty.
"General, the strength of those monsters is not much of an issue for us, but there are simply too many of them, numbering in the thousands by estimation... and the blood rain has not yet ceased, with continuous transformations happening inside the castle. The monsters are engaged in close combat with the Imperial Army, mixed together. Even if we were to execute wide-ranging attacks, it could easily cause serious collateral damage," explained Priest Kuni with a sigh.
General Vance’s expression darkened, knowing that what Priest Kuni had said was not without reason and not merely making excuses.
Before the war started, although the Seven Gods Church supported the Western War and was willing to dispatch its clergy to accompany the army, their main responsibility was only to ensure the personal safety of the commanders.
Support for the frontline battlefield was at most incidental.
Just as General Vance found himself at a loss, the young man in the black hat suddenly spoke:
"General, perhaps this task can be tried by my Undead Foreigners Legion."
"Hmm?"
All eyes turned toward him.
General Vance still furrowed his brow and asked in a deep voice:
"Are you confident?"
Jack just let out a light chuckle and continued:
"The battles they’ve been through recently have allowed them to progress quickly... Originally Transcendents, with their inherent Undying characteristics, I believe they are more than capable of stemming the tide of those ’Fallen Flesh Puppets’."
After hearing this, General Vance pondered for a moment before nodding.
"In that case, those damn monsters are yours to deal with, Governing Officer Jack."
He looked deeply at Chen Lun and added:
"If things go smoothly, I will personally recount your merits to the Prince after the war."
"It’s just a trivial contribution to the Empire, General,"
Chen Lun said with a slight smile, tipping his hat and bowing.
He then excused himself to gather the Undead Foreigners Legion, bidding farewell as he left.
Everyone watched his back as he descended from the high platform and gradually moved away.
Priest Kuni and Suha the Nun looked at each other, both somewhat puzzled as to why those Undead Foreigners were so willing to obey Jack.
In fact, the Seven Gods Church had studied this suddenly arriving group earlier than any other power. Although they had immense potential and possessed the Undying and Immortal characteristics, they were extremely uncontrollable, not to mention loyal.
The Church had tried many methods but couldn’t effectively control the Undead Foreigners, so much so that they eventually gave up on this group, never treating them as their own.
But with Jack, the situation seemed entirely different.
Suha and Kuni had even witnessed the Undead Foreigners enthusiastically clustering around Jack, affectionately calling him "Leader" and shouting their willingness to die for him.
Among them was a young girl who kept shouting about wanting to bear his children and other bizarre phrases, much like those ignorant girls beguiled by a Cult.
In that moment, Suha the Nun even felt a trace of Mercy.
Unknowns and puzzles seemed to transform into a cloak of fog that draped over the tall, straight figure, making him appear even more mysterious.

After returning to his temporary tent, Chen Lun opened the panel immediately, preparing a new side quest for his players—
[Side Quest: Western War/Nabile Forest Castle Battle/Blood Rain Under the Castle!]
He "thoughtfully" explained in the quest description the information and origins of the "Fallen Flesh Puppets," detailed the cruel aspects of the blood rain ceremony, and portrayed the players as heroes fighting against the corrupted monsters, saviors of the Empire, fearless warriors from foreign lands.
It was far-fetched, but it at least provided players with a sense of immersion and a sense of achievement when they struck down corrupted creatures.
Enhancing the gaming experience and creating joy in gameplay, he understood that.
’No one understands players better than I do…’
Chen Lun reclined in an armchair, holding a glass of iced milk, shaking his head.
’You need to learn to be grateful, for these are tasks I’ve painstakingly secured for you... If you don’t slay a few corrupted creatures, how could you live up to my efforts?’
