Lady Sani was about to approach Seojun, her hand reaching out slightly. But before she could say a word, he vanished without a trace.

Alexa immediately looked around, hands on her hips. "Argh! Seojun, I said stop that! Teleporting is not common, you know?! That guy!" she huffed, clearly annoyed.

Lady Sani laughed softly, covering her mouth with her hand. "He really is... unique," she commented with a gentle smile.

Alex chuckled, shaking his head. "Well, shall we continue the tour?"

Alexa sighed dramatically. "How about we go to the canteen, Sani? You must be hungry after using your powers," she suggested, her expression softening.

Lady Sani nodded, her smile never fading. "Yeah, sure. I'd love to," she agreed.

"Alright, let's go then," Alex said, leading the way with a grin.

The three of them walked side by side, the atmosphere much lighter now as they headed to the canteen.

Seojun appeared on a secluded island, the waves crashing softly against the shore.

Minutes ago....

After he left the academy where he met Lady Sani, the breeze carried the salty scent of the ocean.

[She has an incredible amount of mana, Host. The purest I have ever seen.]

Seojun didn't respond immediately. He walked forward, his gaze steady as he made his way through the familiar path. After a while, he reached his classroom, empty and silent. He pulled out a chair and sat down, looking at the rows of empty seats.

Suddenly, his Global System rang, a bright hologram appearing before him. Seojun looked at it and saw the name: Chairman Alexander. He tapped the call icon, answering it without hesitation.

Now Back on the island, Seojun continued walking.

[You have a soft spot for Chairman Alexander, Host. You accepted his favor without hesitation.]

Seojun's eyes softened a little. "Chairman is the one who stood as my father before I met John,"

[I'm excited of what will happen!]

Seojun's eyes flickered, and with a simple thought, his hair turned stark white, strands glowing faintly under the sunlight. He brushed his fingers through it casually. "They should be here by now," he murmured.

Just as he finished speaking, the sound of helicopter blades roared from above. Seojun looked up, squinting against the wind it stirred. Ropes were thrown down, and figures began to descend swiftly. Then, with a heavy thud, a massive figure landed right in front of him, cracking the ground beneath his feet. Dust rose around them, and when it cleared, a giant man stood there, hammer resting casually on his shoulder, a grin stretching across his face.

"Well, well... is it the mysterious S-ranker," the man taunted, his voice booming.

Seojun remained still, his expression completely calm. "Kang Daewon," he acknowledged, not even a hint of surprise in his tone.

Kang Daewon smirked, his hammer resting heavily on his shoulder. "You finally showed up yourself to me," he said, his voice booming with excitement.

Seojun remained calm, dusting off his sleeves. "I wasn't hiding," he replied simply.

Daewon raised an eyebrow. "You sure? I've been looking for you for a while now. Even Alex won't tell me where you are," he grinned, cracking his knuckles. "But now, here you are. So, what do you say? A quick duel?"

Seojun glanced around the empty field, unbothered. "I don't see the point," he replied. "I'm not here for a fight."

Daewon's grin widened, clearly more provoked. "Not here for a fight? You're an S-ranker! Isn't that what you guys do? Fight and show off your strength?"

Seojun raised an eyebrow. "I don't need to show off," he said, voice steady. "If you're that eager, go spar with someone else."

Daewon's grip on his hammer tightened. "Hah! Arrogant, huh? I like it!" He swung his hammer around, slamming it into the ground, causing cracks to spread beneath their feet. "If you don't fight back, you're gonna get crushed!"

Seojun merely stepped back, avoiding the cracks easily. His gaze remained calm. "If that makes you happy, go ahead," he replied coolly.

Daewon's eye twitched. "Cocky bastard…" He swung his hammer again, sending a shockwave across the field, but Seojun didn't flinch.

"You're wasting your energy," Seojun commented, hands in his pockets.

Daewon's grin faded slightly, replaced with a scowl. "You really think you're untouchable, huh?"

Seojun met his gaze, unblinking. "I don't think. I know."

Daewon let out a bark of laughter. "I like you even more now! But I'm gonna wipe that smug look off your face sooner or later."

Seojun just shrugged. "If that helps you sleep at night."

Both Seojun and Daewon turned to see a woman with neatly tied hair, glasses, and a professional suit approaching them from another helicopter. The helicopter blades kicked up dust as she stepped toward them, her presence commanding attention.

Her sharp voice interrupted, "That's enough, Mr. Kang Daewon." freeweɓnovēl.coɱ

Daewon groaned, rubbing his head. "Ah, not you again... Saito Fumiko. You just show up everywhere, huh?"

Fumiko adjusted her glasses, unfazed. "It's my job to make sure you don't turn every mission into a battlefield." She glanced at Seojun. "And you must be Seojun. Chairman Alexander sends his regards and also his apologies for Daewon's... enthusiasm."

Daewon scoffed. "Hey, it's not enthusiasm. It's called battle spirit!"

Fumiko ignored him and stepped closer. "Now, as much as I know you two would love to destroy half the island, I'm here to make sure we stay focused. We're on a raid, not a personal fight. So, let's keep it professional."

Daewon clicked his tongue but stepped back, resting his hammer on his shoulder. "Fine, fine... Guess I'll wait for another time, kid. But don't think you can hide forever, Seojun." He grinned widely.

Seojun's face remained calm, hands still in his pockets. "I wasn't hiding. You just couldn't find me."

Daewon's grin twitched. "Hah! Cocky, huh? I like that. Makes it more fun when I crush you."

Fumiko sighed, stepping between them. "Enough with the threats. We have a mission to complete."

Daewon groaned but didn't argue, waving his hand dismissively at Seojun. "Next time, kid. Next time."

As Fumiko led Daewon away, she glanced back at Seojun. "I'll report to Chairman Alexander about the raid progress. Just don't make any more unnecessary noise."

Seojun simply nodded. "I wasn't planning to."

Fumiko stepped forward, clearing her throat to get everyone's attention. She glanced at Seojun, then addressed the guild members with a professional tone.

"Everyone, this is Mr. Han," Fumiko said, gesturing toward him. "He will be the mage for this raid. Our goal for this raid is clear: we need to locate the nest of the Siphon Wraith and annihilate them before they spread further."

The guild members exchanged looks and murmured to each other.

"Is he really the mage?" one of them whispered.

"Can we trust someone so young?" another murmured.

A third voice added, "If only Sylphy weren't sick, she would've been the perfect mage for this."

Hearing these whispers, Kang Daewon walked up and placed a hand on Seojun's shoulder, grinning widely. "Don't you recognize this kid? He's the newly reevaluated S-ranker of Korea!" he said, his voice booming across the group.

The guild members fell silent, their eyes widening in disbelief.

"Wait... he's an S-ranker?" one member asked, shocked.

Daewon smirked. "Yep, this kid's got more power than you think. Don't judge him by his looks."

Fumiko nodded. "I expect everyone to cooperate. Our main focus is locating the Siphon Wraith nest and making sure it's destroyed."
