I Will Create a Good Ending for the Yandere Villainess-Chapter 202: She Needs Permission?
"It's nothing. I'm just..." Marionette looked off to the side, looking away from Lillian's interrogating stare as she thought of the next part of her sentence.
"I'm just tired."
"Eh? Tired? Have you been doing something that can get you tired, or something?" Lillian tilted her head, perplexed. Was this really the reason why she had become so cold?
Marionette eyed the girl silently before snorting, "Hmph. Things. I've been doing things... On my own." She emphasised, causing Lillian to slouch a bit and give her a deadpan stare.
"Ehh...? On your own? We've practically been stuck together. What do you mean 'on your own'?"
"Have we, though?" Marionette raised an eyebrow, glaring intently at the girl, "From what I recall, you've been heading off to the library for some reason, which I could only assume to be studying."
"..."
Lillian waited for Marionette to continue. Only to find out she wasn't.
A look of confusion crossed her face, but also one that could be described as 'That's it?'
"Yeah... I've been studying. Is there... Anything particular wrong about that?"
"... No." Marionette folded her arms, turning to the side with a slight frown, "It's not an issue at all, if you were to tell me the reason why you want to be alone in the first place."
"I need a reason... To study alone...?" The Rabbit asked in a slow and confused manner. Was this woman actually being serious? Did she need her permission to do something as mundane as studying...?
The Assassin shook her head at the girl's question, "No. It's more like informing me that you would like to study by yourself. Just so..." She raised her right hand over the lower half of her face.
"Just so... I don't get worried over things that wouldn't ever happen..."
After saying this, silence suddenly entered between them—something Marionette hadn't expected. She turned back to Lillian, after a moment had passed, to find her returning her Chestplate back to her Mana Realm.
Once she had done that, Marionette watched as Lillian sharply turned her body towards her, pouncing with unknown intent. Without a doubt, she could dodge this.

... But she would like to see where this would go.
With her back on the ground and the grass tickling the back of her neck, Marionette drifted her eyes to the side. Lillian laid on top of her, rubbing her cheek against hers, while repeating:
"So cute~...!"
Marionette continued to lie on the grass as she was subjected to an endless barrage of face rubbing and headpats.
This kind of activity was something she didn't mind in the slightest. It was also the activity.. That caused them to lose track of time and be kicked out of the virtual reality.

"You just can't blame me for that kind of thing~!" Lillian chuckled as she strolled with her arms behind her back like a child.
Marionette closely followed behind her as she was led by the girl towards the female dormitory.
"If you hadn't distracted us for so long, we would have got more done in that time we lost."
"Ehh~... Did we really lose anything, though~? I know you enjoyed, Mari~..."
At the Rabbit's words, Marionette let out a huff. Not admitting, but also not denying her claims. Her eyes happened to glance to the side.
The cobblestone street they were on gave them a great view of the Colosseum, which had nearly been prepared for the tournament that would happen in a few days.
Lillian noticed that Marionette had stopped in the middle of the street to gaze at the Colosseum. Walking over, she stood by her side and looked over as well.
Banners were hung on the side. Flags held up by poles diagonally pinned in the stone walls. Rows of tents lined up near the centre of the Colosseum—most likely from traders preparing their stands from inside.
"Looks exciting, doesn't it? Just a few more days, and we'll already be participating in the tournament."
Marionette gave a brief nod, shooting Lillian a glance, "Yes... And I still have much to teach you."
The corners of Lillian's lips twitched, "By beating it into me?"
"It is said that pain is the best teacher, Lilly..."
Lillian rubbed the back of her head. "Yeah, sure. Maybe if its not being nailed into your head so hard that you get too distracted to learn."
Marionette shrugged, "Land a blow and maybe those teachings might mean something."
"Oh yeah~? I can land a blow, right now."
"Hm? You really want to do it in the stre—"
Before Marionette could finish her sentence, Lillian stood on the tip of her toes, planting a peck on the Assassin's cheek before running off with a childish.
"Whoever is last to get back to the dorm has to cook dinner!"
As Lillian ran off, Marionette held a hand over her cheek, her other hand fidgeting a bit as her heart swelled a bit. Just before she went off and chased after the girl, she muttered:
"Now only if you did that to where I wanted you to..."
Their race eventually led to Lillian losing easily, making it so she had to cook. But... It was the most pleasant result from their race.

Inside the classroom, during one of the breaks in between classes, Lillian and Reph were hunched over the desk at the front, which was the teacher's desk.
They were currently figuring out who to put in the teams for the upcoming tournament, specifically, what they would be competing in.
Both Millis and Marionette had gone off to fetch them some drinks from the vending machine outside.
"Three competitions and two teams for each..." Lillian scratched the back of her head as she muttered this.
"Yeah... And we're in charge of picking the people for the teams. We have to get this back to Mirage soon."
Lillian gave a slow nod. She kind of remembered who was good in each competition, but it was a bit hard to recall.
"Uh huh... Hey, did you tell Mirage about my guess yet?"
"The one about the Cult of Jesters?"
"Yeah, that one!"
Reph rubbed the back of his head. "I did. And I think he took it into great consideration."
"Is that so—?"
Just as she was about to ask something else, someone called out for them as they entered the classroom.
"Ah, here they are!"
Looking up from the desk, they found a group of three walking up to them.
