Chapter 559 - 559 Invincible: Wrath of the Sinister Invincible, Quantum Bombs, The World on the Brink of Collapse, Massive Attack on the GDA, The Origin of Calm Is a Monster.

There were ninety-nine Invincibles, of which more than ninety flew in all directions. This scene was so terrifying and hopeless that, if it had been any other universe, it would have been an inevitable and miserable end. Ninety killing machines, each immune to almost all known weapons, each with the ability to endanger the human race.

The war had begun... war?

A war happens when both sides can fight; otherwise, it would be called extermination, but strangely enough, it was not called that; even in this situation, it was still called a war. Incredibly this was not only because of Allen and his girls/dolls.

...

One Invincible flew into space. He wanted to get to the other side of the world quickly, and the best way was to go into space first, to fly without the resistance of the wind.

"That stupid Angstrom thinks I don't know he'll try to abandon us in some world after using us?"

The more Invincibles there were, the higher the chance that someone would realize Angstrom Levy's intentions. But he took that risk knowing that otherwise, he would never get his revenge.

"You'll see, Angstrom Levy, I'm going to––"

A bright light swallowed the Invincible, leaving him no time to react.

...

"Hahaha, I love the multiverse! No matter how much I destroy a world, there's always more to destroy!"

An Invincible wearing a blue and yellow suit, sleeveless with gloves more like a motorcyclist than a superhero, soared high above the clouds, above everyone, getting closer to outer space.

"Now, where are the asteroids around here? I bet this time I can sink California with a single meteorite!~"

The Invincible looked down at Earth. He was once a superhero, once someone who saved people, but at some point, he realized it was more fun to be a villain.

"Let's get to work, I––"

A massive explosion detonated where he was, and its power was so enormous that a nuclear bomb would be ashamed to be compared to it. The Invincible who had planned to throw meteorites at the Earth was killed instantly.

...

"I've always wondered what's crueler for a man: to see his whole family die in front of him, or not being able to watch the Super Bowl? Hahaha."

Elsewhere, an Invincible flew directly toward a satellite. He was wearing a blue suit with nothing covering his head, though he still had the classic Invincible goggles. His goal was to destroy as much as possible to end all transmissions and phone signals. Why? He just felt like doing it.

Invincible smiled as the satellite reflected in his goggles.

– "Now!" –

"Huh?!"

Invincible was stunned as everything turned white. Unlike the previous two, this one was significantly stronger, and he managed to think for a moment before his body began to disintegrate.

'Am I dead?'

The Invincible was disintegrated. It felt as if his body had stopped being solid and turned into nothing.

'This is a very dangerous weapon, Cecil...'

...

(GDA)

"Sir, three enemy casualties confirmed!"

Cecil clenched his fist, realizing how effective the new quantum bombs were. The operators were under immense pressure, but seeing that they could fight, they let out a relieved breath.

Donald smiled to Cecil's right, "It's a great achievement, sir..."

Cecil looked at Donald but didn't smile, "It's all thanks to our ally..."

"Oh, Cecil, you don't have to be so flattering," A woman with features similar to Cecil's, who could very well be his twin, stood up from a chair still holding a glass of wine. "The quantum bombs came from my world, but hiding them in satellites... that was impressive..."

"I had no choice, there's no way I could've used them on the ground."

The woman smiled...

Cecil watched his female variant for a moment before sighing.

This Cecil could open portals, though, unlike Allen and Angstrom, he had to spend a fortune every time he did so. But he simply couldn't ignore the possibilities the multiverse offered.

Moreover, the phrase Allen had said almost a year ago still resonated in his head:

– "You can expect an invasion of dozens of evil Invincibles, Cecil."

So, secretly, the GDA director continued to explore other universes, being careful not to let any unwanted being cross over. After a dozen tries, on the thirteenth attempt, Cecil arrived in the universe where a female version of himself existed.

Cecil's men researched this universe a bit but were stunned to learn that Omni-Man had died in this world.

So, for the first time, Cecil decided to contact Cecilia Stedman.

The alternate version of Cecil had one of the most impressive resumes in the multiverse, as in her world, she managed to kill her Omni-Man using these Quantum Bombs and even captured her Invincible. Unfortunately, she was later freed by the original Angstrom Levy.

Cecil needed those quantum bombs... which led him to make a deal that culminated in this situation.

"It's all thanks to you."

"Haha, don't be modest, Cecil. Not all altruistic," Cecilia pulled a USB from her pocket and showed it with amusement. "This technology to cross universes is worth as much, if not more, than our weapons..."

Cecilia proceeded to leave the room...

"She's hot..." Donald murmured, making Cecil look at him angrily.

"I'm sorry... sir," Donald embarrassed himself for saying something like that about a woman who was practically his boss with a woman's body.

Cecil endured the discomfort that Donald caused him, he looked at the screen and saw that Cecilia had left before taking out his phone. The portal-creating technology wasn't the only thing he had that was unique.

"Walker... answer."

After a moment Cecil was unable to communicate.

Donald frowned, "It's strange; a moment ago, I checked, and it was possible to communicate with the... possibly Allen is in the open sea, a desert, or outer space, and that's why he can't communicate."

"Contact Walker through the satellites! I don't care if I have to buy Denmark and give it to him; the world is ending, and this is our best chance of surviving!"

...

(Outer Space)

His head was spinning, his jaw shaking. His mind couldn't process how he ended up there.

It was just one hit, so powerful that it knocked him out of the planet...

The Sinister Invincible growled as he recovered.

'Not even my father hit me that hard...' thought the Sinister Invincible.

Among the eighteen original Invincibles who were supposed to participate in this war, there were clear differences in strength. Some were so weak they couldn't even handle a group of local superheroes. On the other hand, there were the stronger Invincibles, whose feats varied, but two stood out: the Omni-Mark, who claimed to have defeated his father, and the Sinister Invincible, who didn't just defeat him but killed him.

This pair was now part of the Six Invincibles, whose mission was to kill Allen, although, as expected, they were selfish and went off to do other things.

"That guy irritates me..."

The Sinister Invincible silently observed the Earth. Even though on the outside it was similar to his world, it was a completely different universe. At least here, he wasn't the strongest.

"But this is getting interesting~"

This Mark Grayson didn't have a purpose like being an emperor, defeating someone, seeking revenge, or getting anywhere. He was evil, believed, and ruthless. He included killing the son of the Angstrom Levy variant from his world in front of him but didn't kill Angstrom himself just to see him suffer.

The Sinister Invincible smirked and flew to Earth, specifically toward Midnight City where Superman and Batman were. They had made him angrier than anyone.

"Wait~"

Before this Invincible could enter the atmosphere, an energy ring caught him.

"What do you want, bastard?!" The Sinister Invincible looked up in disgust, only to see Tech-Mark, arms crossed, watching him.

"That's exactly what I'm asking, we need to go to Chicago..."

"Shut up, I already know that!" The Sinister Invincible growled and broke the energy ring with his strength. "Bastard, do that again and I'll tear your face off––"

"Yeah, yeah, I know. You'll eat my guts and make a pie with my heart, that annoying habit of threatening people with making them into sandwiches is really irritating, you know?" Tech-Mark mocked but then grew serious. "While we're up here, I took the chance to hack some satellites and learn a bit about our opponent..."

"And what? Is he trash?"

"Oh, my friend, I'm afraid it's the opposite. If we face him alone, he'll kill us so easily it would be even humiliating Haha... I'm serious... this guy is a monster even seen from my fucking point of view..."

"..."

"Now, come with me..."

The Sinister Invincible looked at Earth for a moment, specifically where the Midnight City was; he clicked his tongue and followed Tech-Mark.

...

(Arizona Desert)

The desert began to calm down after the catastrophe caused by Allen and the Invincible Conquest.

Allen looked at the smiling corpse, cut in half, of this Invincible."It seems that guys like you always die happy..."

*Auge*

A massive explosion that was hard to ignore distracted Allen.

"...?" He gazed up at the massive explosions in the upper Thermosphere and Exosphere, "Cecil, what the hell are those weapons?"

Gwen – Looks like Cecil had a trick up his sleeve after all.

"Yeah..."

Just then Allen received a call.

"Walker..." Cecil's voice sounded calm but forced, trying not to fall into despair.

"You don't have to say it, I'm on it... but for now, I've only dealt with three, but I've already sent my girls around the world."

"That's a relief... I'll do what I can on my end..."

*Alarm*

The emergency sound interrupted their conversation. Donald turned to Cecil to deliver the news that they were being invaded.

"Need help?" Allen asked from the other side.

...

Cecil looked at the monitors and saw an Invincible entering the GDA while ruthlessly destroying soldiers.

"Don't worry, we can handle this one..."

Cecil prepared to avoid the Alos ReAnimen. However, three more signals appeared on the radar. When the drone cameras zoomed in, they saw three Invincibles.

"Cecil, you son of a bitch, you won't fool me again!"

"Cecil, remember when you used my mother as a hostage? Well, I'm here to gut you!"

"Cecil, I want to see your ugly face and kill you again!"

"Walker... I may need your help."

...

Inside the GDA, which was also the Pentagon, chaos had erupted. The reinforced metal facilities were no more than paper for an Invincible.

The first to enter was Invincible Flaxan. Still one of the eighteen original Invincibles, his motive for attacking the GDA was unclear, but it was pretty obvious that he seemed to harbor a deep hatred for Cecil. This hatred was shared by other Invincibles who followed him. Cecil could only curse silently at the Cecils from those worlds who had created this situation for him.

– ATTENTION ALL CODE BLACK! REPEAT, CODE BLACK! –

*Pum*

"Finally, you shut up..." said Invincible Flaxan as he pulled his fist from the wall where the alarm had been.

Invincible Flaxan was named for his suit, which shared many similarities with the race that invaded Earth repeatedly before being eradicated by Allen.

Invincible looked down the metal corridors illuminated by red lights and flew off, his gaze burning with fury as his fists clenched in anticipation.

A group of soldiers intercepted The Invincible Flaxan. He ignored the barrage of bullets.

"Fire!"

"Shoot!"

The soldiers were frightened but didn't stop firing, though it was useless.

"Ahhh!"

Invincible's fist slammed into a soldier's head, which exploded like a watermelon, and then he buried his fist into the metal wall. The soldiers stopped firing, stunned. Even with all their training, they knew that, as veteran soldiers, this was an enemy they couldn't defeat.

Invincible Flaxan showed no mercy and attacked the others. Amid screams and gunfire, one by one, they were torn apart by this Invincible, who many considered a coward. The reason was that his history mirrored the original Invincible's. But back in the first season, when he was threatened by The Flaxian, instead of getting angry and breaking free, he surrendered and chose to side with them, leading to Earth's conquest in his universe.

Invincible dropped a bloodied soldier and walked toward a large metal door. At that moment, it opened, and several large ReAnimen appeared and attacked.

Invincible was surprised, as these creatures didn't exist in his universe. He punched one to realize that they were no pushovers. Four of them began to attack him.

"CECIL!"

Invincible shouted as he felt the blows from the ReAnimen. Then, he pushed them in all directions.

"F*ck you, Cecil!"

He charged at one, hitting it repeatedly until it was damaged, then ripped off its head. Another ReAnimen attacked him from behind, enraging him. An Invincible wouldn't be defeated by one or two ReAnimen, but more kept arriving, and even though this Invincible defeated four, he was overwhelmed by four more.

Just as they were about to break his neck, another Invincible burst through the ceiling and kicked a ReAnimen into a pulp.

"Idiot! Doesn't he know that Cecil always surrounds himself with these zombies?! Hahaha!",

The Invincible mocking Invincible Flaxan wore a tight suit resembling a runner's outfit, showing off his arms and legs.

"Pathetic." Another Invincible entered behind him and saw The Flaxan trapped by the ReAnimen, laughing. He wore a blue cape and a thicker suit, almost like armor.

"Hey bastard, we all want to kill Cecil, don't get ahead of us!"

The last Invincible wore the classic Invincible suit but with a helmet resembling a motorcycle helmet.

"Damn it!" Invincible Flaxan broke free, grabbing one of the ReAnimen and ripping it in half.

The sporty Invincible kicked another ReAnimen, creating a hole in its chest. The armored Invincible sliced the nearest ReAnimen in half using just his palm. The last ReAnimen lost its head from a punch by the Invincible with the helmet.

...

Cecil watched the cameras with a serious expression. The blows and crashes were getting closer.

"Sir, should we evacuate?"

"We can't, Donald. There are ninety of these bastards across the world causing death."

"Sir, there are four right here, and the ReAnimen can't handle more than one..."

"..."

Cecil knew the risk, but from here, they could detonate the satellites with the quantum bombs, their best weapon against the Invincibles. Also, this was where they coordinated the world's defense.

"You can hate me if you want, but no one can leave. Not now, not when the world could end!"

The operators remained unfazed, though it was because they were trained to give their lives if needed. But deep down there was fear, for no one wanted to die, especially not at the hands of a monstrous Invincible.

...

(Five minutes later)

The door opened, and the head of the last ReAnimen rolled across the floor. The four Invincibles entered the control room.

"Mark Grayson, I never thought you would be an idiot in so many different worlds!!" Cecil pointed his weapon at them, but they just laughed.

"Cecil, you're a cold bastard to the end..." Invincible Flaxan said with disdain.

"Haha, the Cecil from my world still had his hair. I must say, age hasn't been kind to you!" mocked the armored Invincible.

"Oh, brother, I'm going to make you suffer!" laughed the sporty Invincible.

"Cecil Stedman... I didn't think I'd see you again. In my world, I missed my chance to get revenge on you," the Invincible with the helmet said, removing it to reveal his burnt face. "In my world, you used yourself as bait, and when I arrived, you detonated an antimatter bomb in my face!"

"It's a shame I didn't kill you," Cecil said without fear.

The four Invincibles exchanged glances. Apparently, Cecil wasn't going to give them the satisfaction of begging for his life.

"This is stupid. Let's just kill him already!"

At that moment, all the operators drew weapons and aimed at them. It was a strange phenomenon—no one feared them as much as they had expected. In the eyes of the operators, there was hidden fear, pressure, and frustration, but it didn't feel as heavy. It wasn't a look of utter despair.

The Invincibles didn't understand. They were "INVINCIBLE," they were Viltrumites, each of them a monster, there were so many of them, yet even in this seemingly impossible situation, why wasn't everyone drowning in despair?

This didn't happen only in this place.

This was noticed by the Invincibles being faced around the world...

...

Constant news of attacks around the world began to spread. The world was falling into chaos. Each Invincible was a monster, destroying law enforcement, villains, and superheroes—few could stand against them.

A long-haired Invincible struck Bulletproof, grabbed him by the head,

"Will you still laugh?!"

"Hehe, asshole..." Bulletproof spat in his face and Bulletproof hit him again.

Immortal was also facing another Invincible and was getting beaten, but he just laughed, almost as if mocking him.

"Are you crazy, Immortal?!"

"Don't worry...you'll understand soon enough Haha."

Why?

Why did it seem like everyone was waiting for something?

...

Back at the GDA...

The four Invincibles couldn't stand the humiliation, they were ready to kill everyone.

"Fine, you can die with a smile, I don't care, but I'll make sure you suffer––"

Step

Each Invincible's words were cut off as their bodies froze, a chilling sensation creeping from their hair down to the soles of their feet.

"W-what?"

Invincible Flaxan was the only one who managed to look back, down the hall where they had come from.

"Looks like he's here..." Cecil put his weapon away as if this no longer had anything to do with him.

"C-Cecil, what the hell did you do to us?!"

"Nothing, but people tend to do that when "he" shows up somewhere."

"'He?!"

Before he could finish his words, a voice silenced him.

"Well, well, well, look what we have here, the quartet of Yellow Scouts from Chicago?..."

"WHO?!"

"Me?" Allen grinned, causing the Invincibles to sweat as their eyes shrank. "I'm Allen Walker. I don't know what kind of life you had in your universe, or what grudge you hold against Cecil, but it's a shame you came to this universe."

It was a mockery...

It was overwhelming pressure...

It was terrifying...

It was a slight smile...

It was a monster in the truest sense of the word...

"Ahh!!!" Invincible Flaxan wanted to respond, to explain and even felt the urge to beg for his life. There was something very wrong, something dangerous surrounding the unknown man, something so terrifying it made him feel powerless.

"Please––"

Flaxan's words were cut off as a fist pierced through his chest, destroying his heart in the process. He spat blood, feeling his life slipping away as those eyes watched him. Those calm eyes stared at him with an indifference so terrifying it made his heart freeze.

'I am Invincible... I was... I should be... why do I feel like an insect that's stepped on without anyone noticing?'

Invincible Flaxan died. The other three were terrified, unable to follow Allen's movements. They only watched as one Invincible was killed without putting up a fight.

Allen turned to face the remaining Invincibles with a mocking smile. "Well, I guess none of you will surrender, right?"

"Ahhh!"

"Die!"

"Damn it!"

The three Invincibles, driven by explosive survival instincts, shouted as adrenaline allowed them to move and attack. They had to! They had no other choice but to fight, or they'd be killed by this monster!

Allen smiled faintly. "Oh... I'm glad you're fighting. I don't like the idea of killing those who don't defend themselves..."

The sporty Invincible was the first to attack, but Allen grabbed his foot and slammed him into another Invincible, sending them both crashing through the ceiling. The third was grabbed by the neck and dragged out of the room by Allen.

Cecil sighed in relief that Allen was not going to fight inside the Pentagon, "Tell me, how's the world?!"

"Yes sir!"

Allen was stronger than the Invincibles, but the situation was still grim.

"I hope your girlfriends, maids, wives, or whatever else your girls are, are as strong as you, Walker, or I'm afraid we'll lose half of humanity in this war..."
