I Become Master of Danger Zones as Incubus With Mastery In Genetic-Chapter 806 - 226
However, when the claimant is another S-ranker, and one smarter than them, it get the cogs to spin. They quickly realized, that Furim was correct. That the women wanted to use them as a stepping stone, and become S-rankers themselves.
Immediately, their faces turned into one of indignation.
"To think someone was foolish enough to use us to gain recognition." The way Marius spoke of sounded like a jest, except Aura rolled out of him like crushing waves.
"Indeed, it seem they think we are weak, and could be taken advantage of." Elna replied, as he took his sword out, the weapon unleashing a malicious gleam.
As the two men took a step towards their foolish opponents, their faces turned paler, though they managed to school their expression.
However, their eyes still showed signs of fear. The two S-rankers had to give it to the women, they did not flee the moment they unleashed their Aura.
Then again, they have enough confidence to try and kill them, so, they should not be afraid of their mere Aura. Instead, the 3 S-rankers needed to kill a few of them, and make the rest terrify of them.
Furim was the one to move first. Mana channeled into his sword, the Marshal of Ravus Kingdom swung his blade in the direction of the closest woman.
Even with his strength reduced to the point barely half remained, it still half the might an S-ranker of his caliber could unleash. Enough to decimate a large area, much less killed a woman 5 meters away from him.
However, it seem his attempt had been expected, as a Magic Circle appeared in front of the woman, blocking his attack. Even though the Magic Circle was shattered by his blow, it did not do much except for that.
Furim raised his brows, before looking at the direction the Mana originated from. One of the women had casted the Magic Circle to protect the one he targeted.
'So, that's the plan. Using numbers to outlast us before overwhelming us.' Furim correctly guessed their plans.
Yet, even though he knew the plan, it was harder to retaliate such plan. An intricate plan can be broken by destroying the most vital part, making it easier for him to send them scattered about.
However, a simple plan that depended on brute force was harder to disrupt. Sure, the Magic Circle is in no way simple, but it had been strengthened in such way that he did not even bother to break it, not at his current state that is.
'If only my strength remained. Then again, that's the point of the Magic Circle, isn't it?' he thought, smiling depreciatively to himself.
'Still, I did not intend to go down so easily.' With renewed resolve, the Marshal gathered Mana around him, transforming it into swirling Aura. The powerful Aura transformed into a mini hurricane, turning everything around it into dust.
The Aura was so great the women leap backwards, their pale faces showing how much they feared getting close to him at the moment.
"Is that all you can do? Do you get lucky and found a relic of a High Witch?" he shouted out, continuing, "If so, you must be the worst Witches to have ever been born."
His words, insulting as it was, grated on their nerves, as he could see some of them having twitching brows. Then again, that was his plan. Anger the Witches, and get them to make mistakes. Then, used that mistakes to kill them, and get out of the Magic Circle.
A simple plan, with a fifty percent chances to work. Except,
"Don't, he's riling us on purpose." One of the Witch, a redhead, exclaimed, which calmed them down.
On one hand, he was impressed. The Witch easily guessed his intention, and douse the anger of her fellow Witches. On the other hand, it make things more difficult for him.
"Someone smart part of your group. Then again, a brain is needed for your group to survive." Furim continued, despite his attempt to rile them had failed.
He did not plan on continuing that plan, as he doubted it would work now, they knew of it. Still, one failed plan did not mean much when he had much more cards to play.
"Since making you angry did not work, then, I have to brute force my way out of here." He might not be as powerful as Marius or Elna, but Furim is still an S-ranker. And what S-ranker never lacked was strength, even with the current restriction.
The Witches back away again, their eyes filled with wariness. They keep their gazes on his sword, expecting another swing, except, that was something he wanted.
He stomped on the ground, causing it to break as blade of Aura spouted out from where he step on. The blade of Aura flew towards the Witches, whose eyes bulged in shock.
Yet, even being caught off guard, the Witches casted a Mana Barrier in front of them, blocking the Aura Blade. The Barrier broke, of course, but it still a testament to their power and skill that they still alive from his strike. That, and the terrifying Magic Circle restraining him.
"An S-ranker truly is powerful." The redhead admitted, her face showing admiration and respect.
"Yet, that's why we must gain such strength, so we can create a place for ourselves in this world. And to help him."
Furim raised his brows when he heard him.
"They following someone? That's … unexpected. Still, that explained how they can create such powerful Magic Circle. The one they follow must be an S-ranker, and a powerful one. And he used us as stepping stones for the Witches."
Furim rarely admire someone the same level as himself, but the mysterious leader of the Witches deserved it.

"Hatchoo!"
Alros sneezed as he flew towards Ravus Kingdom capital.
"Is someone thinking about me?" he wondered, before dismissing the though in favor of flying faster in the direction of the capital.
