I Became My Healer Elf Character-Chapter 120: Mid Air Shopping Mall
Hikari looked around the massive room on her floor. The thing was like a house on its own. It had its own kitchen, a dining room, a living room, a large bathroom, and two bed rooms. For 2 gold coins, they really got a bargain on the giant space. Moreover, there was a large view in the living room that overlooked the outside. Glass paneling separated the room from the sky.
As the group settled in, the magic steam ship started to move. The sound of steam could be heard, and the propellers of the air ship whirred to life. Hikari noticed that Syndra's face became pale as the ship started moving.
"Does flying make you sick?" Hikari asked.
The girl nodded and covered her mouth, her tail swaying in agitation. "I'm sorry I didn't say before. I thought the transformation would have changed that."
Hikari waved her off and channeled mana up her staff. She cast [Calm Aura] on the whole group, ensuring that no one would feel motion sick.
The cat girl sighed in relief. "Thank you so much."
"Don't mention it. Though, now that everyone is fine, perhaps we should go explore the ship?" The elf looked intentionally towards Ayase. "You want to go exploring this place?"
The witch nodded enthusiastically. "I thought you'd never ask."
Hikari looked towards the rest of the girls. "What about you all?"
Each of them shook their head, but it was Kurayami to answer. "Master, you should enjoy some alone time with Ayase. We can take care of ourselves for now."
Hikari grinned and nodded. "Don't have too much fun without me."
The elf locked her arm with the witch and entered the elevator. She pulled the lever, and the lift started descending.
Ayase held onto Hikari's hand as they went down. "I love you, Hikari."
"I love you, too. But where is this coming from?"
The witch shrugged. "Is it wrong to say it? In those English speaking countries on Earth they said it all of the time. I don't need a reason to express my love for you. Besides, I really wanted to hear you say it also, so it's a win for me."
Hikari chuckled and clutched the girl's hand. "You make many good points. Did you plan for this to happen?"
Ayase kissed Hikari's cheek. "Maybe I did, and maybe I didn't. However, it's only natural that we'd want a date with you alone. We've all been discussing things. I think at first they were less willing to share, but now that we talked it over, we wanted to talk to you as well."
"What sort of things did you talk about?"
"We're all in a big relationship together, so we thought it would only be right for each of us to get to know each other better. Provided that you have nothing against it." frёewebnoѵel.ƈo๓
Hikari raised an eyebrow. "You mean something like going on dates with each other?"
The witch nodded. "Basically, we would do what you and I are doing now."
Hikari stepped off the elevator when they arrived at a large floor. To the surprise of Hikari, they'd arrived at what was essentially a mall on the air ship. There were several stores and places to eat that she could spy. The elf was genuinely surprised that something like this existed.
The elf turned and pressed her lips against the witch's cheek. "I don't mind. I already knew this would happen. It would be selfish of me to be the only one having fun with each of you. You're all my whole world now, and I love each of you. Besides, I already knew that Kurayami was into Syndra."
Ayase hugged the elf tight. "But you're still my number one. Though, I will admit that touching those fluffy ears seems fun. I heard you got to try that as well. Did they feel as heavenly as I think they did?"
Hikari shook her head. "They were even better than whatever you're thinking. Picture the softest and fluffiest thing you've ever touched, and then magnify that."
"That does sound heavenly, but remember, I also love my snakes. A part of me wants to play with Kurayami's tail, too."
"Those are divine scales you're thinking of playing with. They could turn you over to the dark side."
The witch laughed and pointed at a store. "Should we try that place first?"
"Sure."
The duo walked into a magic shop. They seemed to sell everything based off the ship they were riding in. There were magical toys and replicas of the ship on the shelves. Each of them contained their own magical enchantment that would allow them to fly around.
A dwarf greeted them from behind the main counter. "Good day, Ladies. Can I help you find anything? Is this your first time?"
Hikari nodded. "Yes to both questions, I suppose."
The dwarf chuckled and hopped off of his standing stool. He hobbled around the counter and pointed towards the shelf next to the two girls. "This shelf holds all of the air ship models. Even these small buggers can run off of steam. All it requires is channeling a bit of magic. Once you do so, they will hover on their own. If you have a crystal that can continuously supply power, it makes for a nice decoration in the home. Guests walk in, and they see a hovering ship. What do you think?"
Hikari nodded from his explanation. "Certainly, they seem like they'd fascinate any visitors. I can easily picture it."
The dwarf grinned he led them to another shelf. "This one is full of magic crystals, so if you have none on hand, you can buy these. They'll be able to charge the magic ship for a whole year at least, especially those purple ones at the back. Those can hold a charge for 5 years."
A sudden thought struck Hikari, and she decided to change gears. "What about selling things? Is it possible that you'll buy things from customers?"
The dwarf raised an eyebrow and glanced towards the elf's wings. "Certainly, if it's worth being displayed in my shop, I'll be willing to buy anything. Do you have anything on hand?"
Hikari nodded. "But first, do you have shops on the ground as well?"
The dwarf raised an eyebrow and looked at her incredulously. "You mean, you've never heard of us before? I guess those guys weren't lying when they said you're a goddess."
"What do those have to do with anything?"
"Well, anyone worldly has surely heard of the Steam Dwarves Company. We've been operating for years. While we don't sell only steam infused magic products, those are our highest selling ones."
"Hoh, what I have isn't quite a steam product, but I'm sure it will fascinate you."
Ayase looked at the elf. "You're not thinking of that card game, are you?"
"Of course I am. Naturally, you'd be the one to make the majority of the profits if we can sell them, since it was your idea."
The dwarf placed a hand on his beard. Learning that Hikari was a goddess didn't seem to change his demeanor at all. He adopted a business smile and started pondering. "You've a card game? What kind of game?"
Hikari pulled out the coin and decks of cards from her pocket. "It's quite simple really. There is a rule book here."
As she explained to him the rules, she flipped the coin into the air and called heads. The moment the coin landed, it transformed into the arena. Both decks of cards were placed into their respective draw spots.
The elf grinned at the dwarf. "Do you want to play a game?"
His eyes widened, and his grin turned even wider, spreading from ear to ear. "Of course, this is quite the gadget you have. Even that...arena coin is quite the spectacle. That alone is enough to make me interested in this game."
Since Hikari won the coin toss, she was the first one to play her cards. The duel commenced, and the two began their friendly bout.
Though, the game ended up not being close at all. For one, Hikari still had her much overpowered deck, and for two, the dwarf had never played any game like this before. He was struggling with learning all of the rules, and several times, he had to ask for help from Ayase.
Once the game ended, Hikari shook the man's hand. "What do you think of it?"
"Are you kidding me? This type of game would sell like mana gems. I can already think of several uses for it."
"Yeah, it would be good for noble kids to learn how to channel their magic power. Provided the game is cheaper, even commoners could learn how to do it."
The dwarf nodded. "Though, I bet it would be hard to make the game cheap. How many would you be able to produce?"
"If I consider only all of the cards made right now, I'd probably be able to make at least 1000 per week."
"A 1000!? How soon can we make a deal?"
"That's all up to Ayase."
The dwarf shook his head in disbelief. "Are you sure you're not the Goddess of Trade and Commerce? Though, I know my goddess's face better than most, and you certainly don't look like her."
"I'm not, and Ayase will be the one to handle whatever dealings."
The witch smiled wryly. "Are you going to dump this on me in the middle of our date?"
Hikari shook her head. She turned to the dwarf. "This is something the two of you can discuss later. As my lover said, we have a date to continue. I bid you farewell."
