"From what we know, each shipment is at least 100,000 liters by train. That is worth at least 1 million gold coins. Even if we work together with other crew or steal a part of the shipment, we will still have a lot of money from the pie."

Legion listened attentively. They were impressed with their initiative and ambition.

Their plan was a good plan as plans go. Their crew has already done most of what they needed to do to prepare for the heist. They have lurked around the vault of gold, collecting information about it and its workers.

Once they give a fate weaver the information they have acquired, the fate weaver will be able to paint a good, if not complete, picture about the future event that they want to know about.

The more information they have about the target, the more accurate the information about the future and the targets that the fate weaver will be able to acquire.

They need to acquire this information so that they will be able to set up an ambush on the shipment and so that the shipment will be successful. If they don't even know the direction the shipment will come in and when it will come in, they can't have an ambush. frёeweɓηovel.coɱ

Apart from the information of time and place, there is the information about the godclads guarding the shipment. If they don't have this information, they will never be able to take the shipment, even if they ambush it. Odds are that their lack of information will lead to a team wipeout.

The information about the guards is very important because no two godclads are alike. Godclads have different pathways. Godclads on the same pathway will have different ranks, so they will have different abilities.

Even godclads on the same pathway with the same rank will have different spiritual power and control over their divine abilities, so their capabilities will differ.

These thieves have to have enough information before they can pull off these heists, or they will die without knowing how and why.

So what Black Knife said was reasonable. But Legion didn't believe what the man was saying.

Their eyes narrowed as they examined his mind from the other room. They could tell that he was lying.

So they asked, "When do you plan to tell me the truth about all of these?"

Black Knife paused when he heard the question. He didn't know what to say for a while.

After some time of intensive thinking, he settled on something to say. He said, "I didn't lie to you."

Legion sneered. "You haven't spoken the truth either. Don't quibble with me about this because I am this close to punishing you for it."

Black Knife inhaled heavily before he spilled the beans. He said, "I have it on good authority that the vault of gold is getting their energy water from a spirit spring nearby. If we can acquire enough information, we might be able to find where that spirit spring is. Even if our ambush fails, I will be able to sell the information about the location of the spirit spring to others."

Legion chuckled and said, "So you planned to rip off your crewmate right from the start. I like that."

The other four who heard what their boss said were shocked. But they didn't make a fuss. They continued to keep their heads down while anger simmered in their chests.

Black Knife explained quickly, "It is not exactly ripping them off. I told them that we were going to steal the energy water, and we were going to do that."

Legion didn't care about his motives. What they cared about was that he didn't want to offend and get into trouble with two godly organizations.

He is already planning a heist against the lamp bearers. He also plans to use this crew in his heist. He will be looking for trouble if he goes ahead to offend the vault of gold before going to offend the lamp bearers.

He also doesn't want to steal energy water from the lamp bearers because he doesn't need to. He has a lot of money, so he prefers to buy the energy water.

If there is something else he wants from the vault of gold, he prefers to buy it from them. Unlike the lamp bearers, the vault of gold doesn't have many restrictions. They will sell anything to anyone as long as there is enough money.

So he said to them, "You will pause your heist for a while. We might resume at a later date. In the meantime, you will help me do some things. The first one being to buy me energy water."

"You will continue to rob people, but you will only do it after you get my permission. Do you understand?"

"Yes, master."

He warned them sternly, "You better understand, or there will be dire consequences if you don't."

Then he said, "Now I need 500 liters of spiritual energy. Gather the money and buy it for me. I must have it in one hour, or there will be hell to pay."

They stood up and began to scramble to do his bidding. They had to return to their base to get the money they needed for 500 liters of spiritual energy.

He didn't stop them because he understood that they didn't need to carry 5,500 gold coins around when they had a base. So he followed them to their base to get the money and then followed them back to the vault of gold to get the energy water.

He watched them do all of these with a smile on his face. Even if the five of them die soon, as long as he has gotten 500 liters of energy water from them, he won't mind their deaths at all.

With 500 liters of energy water, all the time and effort he put into training them into good servants will be worth it. Of course, that isn't enough to satisfy him. He intends to milk them for more.
