Golden Dragon: Six Thousand Years of Empire-Chapter 232 - 164 Winged Snake Dragon of the Sun God
Chapter 232: Chapter 164 Winged Snake Dragon of the Sun God
"I’m really worn out!"
The vast world filled with the aura of the Primitive Wilderness was gradually shattered, and the ever more radiant Golden Tree stood once again before his eyes. Feeling somewhat mentally exhausted, Noah let out a long, satisfied sigh.
Under the power of the Natural Fruit, he was guided into that world where reality and illusion were indistinguishable, wandering like a ghost, able to appreciate every Giant Beast that caught his attention, their specific forms, and body details.
However, the Giant Beasts he sought out seemed to be weaker and weaker, and by the last one, it had little reference value.
Yet even so, Noah’s gains were extremely rich, as he had obtained everything he desired. His brand-new second true form was in the process of evolving, though his body required time.
"Hmm, let me see how many fruits are left!"
"Two Golden Wisdom Fruits, one Purple Spirit Fruit. Hmm, what is the use of this Azure Fruit?"
Blue is a very beautiful color, great as decoration, but once it appears on food, it’s a terribly unappetizing color, hard to stimulate the appetite.
But this Azure Fruit before him emitted an extremely strong allure as soon as Noah noticed it, compelling him with an impatient urge to swallow it.
This was nothing unusual, as almost all fruits would give Noah such an urge, except for the Dark Fruit; though it could temper the spirit and will, Noah found it hard to like.
If he weren’t left with no choice, and didn’t want to see what a completely dulled Golden Tree would result in, Noah wouldn’t want to touch it.
"It’s time to taste something new!"
Though unsure of the fruit’s effects, Noah believed nothing could be worse than the Dark Fruit, so the Golden Dragon plucked the mature fruit and tossed it directly into his mouth, eagerly awaiting the fruit’s power to take effect.
"Mmm—"
A lightness that made his body, mind, soul, and spirit feel ethereal spread gradually, and Noah felt as if he was flying.
No, this was not an illusion; he really was flying, soaring into an endless azure sky, though the sky was so vast that the land below shrank into a blurred expanse, mountains and rivers seemed as insignificant as dust, difficult to discern.
"This seems familiar!"
Looking down, even though the land had shrunk to such proportions and its borders were still impossible to see, some regions below gave him a sense of familiarity, as if he had visited them before.
"Similar to the Natural Fruit? A Sky Fruit?!"
Though the entry process was entirely different, the effect was similar. Just as Noah was feeling puzzled, a blazing crimson Sun appeared before him.
Lyrick~
A screech that echoed across the skies, yet sounded like a roar, reached him as Noah watched with wide eyes. On the Sun’s surface, a Flame Giant Snake stretching for who knows how many miles appeared, stirring up a raging firestorm on the corona layer, engulfing the endless sky in the Sun’s blazing radiance.
"Hiss~ What is this?"
Noah gazed in unparalleled shock at the long serpent, or perhaps a Dragon, slithering through the Sun’s corona layer.
For as the Golden Dragon noticed, its head seemed to have horn-like structures, suggesting it was a creature, and not some biological-like natural phenomenon.
"An Ancient Sun God born from the Sun?"
As an Ancestor Dragon, Noah made this judgment based on his inherited knowledge, understanding that so-called Divine beings aren’t only those who gather believers’ faith to form Divinity, ignite Divine Fire, ascend the Divine Throne, and achieve Immortality.
This world had beings who were born Immortal, naturally able to manipulate the rules of the Material Realm, wielding power that could alter the world effortlessly.
Their power surpassed that of the Material Realm, being able to rival or counteract faith-based Divines, hence they were also called Ancient Gods.
Because the power of Ancient Gods didn’t come from wise life forms of the Material Realm, but from the gifts and endowments of the world itself, theoretically, they were higher-level Immortal entities compared to Divines.
However, such beings only appeared at the dawn of the world’s creation, and as the world’s rules gradually became perfected and stabilized, these beings would eventually fade away.
"Why does this seem so familiar?"
Noah’s expression grew increasingly inexplicable as he watched the Giant Snake stirring up monstrous waves on the Sun, until the moment when it spread three pairs of six wings burning with the Sun’s fire, he suddenly understood.
"So it’s you!"
At that moment, Noah finally realized where the sense of familiarity with the Giant Snake came from,
"A higher life-level perfect Evolved Body? This thing can even bathe in the Sun, how utterly absurd!"
Though they weren’t the same Big Snake, Noah was sure that the ultimate life form before him, resembling an Ancient Sun God, was definitely connected with the Big Snake he saw during his first entry into the Primitive Wilderness.
This also meant that the land below was indeed the Barbaric World he had just entered, only now he was in the Sky Domain.
However, now was not the time to ponder these trivial details, as they could be mulled over once everything was over. What was crucial now was to observe this entity resembling an Ancient Sun God.
