Former Interstellar Mercenary In Urban Cultivation World-Chapter 1343: The Black Hole’s Awakening
Chapter 1343: The Black Hole’s Awakening
Several onlookers were stunned.
They had tried to touch the box before, only to be blocked by the invisible force around it.
Seeing Amalia take the treasure so effortlessly, they assumed it was due to her superior cultivation.
But the truth was different.
Amalia had sensed this object’s presence even from outside.
When she reached through the barrier, she felt no resistance at all.
She had inherited all the legacies of Fairy Yi Xiulan—naturally, something left behind by him wouldn’t reject her.
She didn’t open the box immediately.
Holding it securely, she turned back.
On her way past the three stone pillars, she also took the items placed atop them.
These three objects were, in fact, high-level cultivation technique—far superior to the incomplete techniques they had previously found elsewhere.
Amalia casually tossed them to Duan Yao.
"These contain advanced cultivation technique, mental techniques, and artifact refining techniques. Copy them and distribute them widely. How far they can go... depends on their own abilities."
The moment she spoke, those who had initially felt dejected over the lost treasures suddenly lit up with excitement.
Did this mean they would also be allowed to cultivate these techniques?
"Yes, Ms. Amalia." Duan Yao carefully put away the three items.
With the current strength of the Erythar Star System, they wouldn’t be able to protect these treasures alone.
While Ms. Amalia and Mr. Kenny were present, they could deter any threats, but once they left, the Erythar Star System would undoubtedly become a target for all other galaxies.
"Ms. Amalia, what about the aliens..." The Grand Elder hesitated.
If they spread these techniques widely, what if the aliens also started cultivating them?
"They won’t be able to cultivate them. Don’t worry about it." Amalia glanced at the aliens.
These aliens, though able to take human form, were technically more akin to demonic beasts.
If they wished to cultivate, it should be through techniques suited for beasts.
Hearing this, everyone felt relieved and even more grateful for Amalia’s generosity.
If Amalia knew what they were thinking, she would probably dismiss it with indifference.
This wasn’t entirely her decision—it was simply that she had an idea of Fairy Yi Xiulan’s intentions.
For someone of Fairy Yi Xiulan’s level, these high-level cultivation techniques were no different from how lower- and mid-level techniques appeared to them.
Yet he had deliberately placed these three items atop the pillars, making his intention clear.
He meant to leave these treasures for destined successors.
How far they could progress would depend entirely on them.
However, this would be a long and gradual change.
Due to the rules restricting the Andromeda Universe, shifting the status quo wouldn’t be easy.
Aside from the aliens, all nine great star system had gained something valuable from this journey to the Solvaris Star System.
"Ms. Immortal, what should we do with these aliens? Should we let them go?" The Grand Elder approached Amalia, clearly inclined to deal with them on the spot.
Several aliens who had already started walking away suddenly tensed up.
"If they have any sense, they’ll return to the higher-dimensional universe on their own. Otherwise, they might never find their way back again." Amalia spoke casually.
The Grand Elder felt there was a hidden meaning behind her words.
The aliens assumed it was merely a threat.
But in truth, Amalia’s words were meant literally.
Rafael returned, looking refreshed after dealing with Santiago. He eagerly reported, "Ms. Amalia, I’ve already killed that wretched dog Santiago."
Amalia nodded. "Good. Let’s head back."
Not long after they left the building, a deafening rumble echoed behind them.
The once weathered and dilapidated structure finally collapsed, crumbling into dust and dispersing into the air.
"This isn’t good." Minister Sharif stared toward the direction of the black hole, a sudden unease gripping him.
"What do you mean?" Everyone followed his gaze toward the massive black hole but couldn’t immediately tell what was wrong.
"Don’t you see? I feel like... the black hole just got bigger."
"Sharif, don’t scare us." General Rafiq shuddered—he knew better than anyone how terrifying an expanding black hole could be.
The black hole in the Solvaris Star System had existed for a thousand years, long enough to consume everything nearby.
Only Planet Neo-Shengis remained.
If the black hole were to expand again, it would take many years before it could absorb anything significant.
"Minister Sharif isn’t mistaken. The black hole has grown larger." Amalia’s gaze was sharp. "The rate at which Planet Neo-Shengis is losing mass is accelerating. I suspect it has something to do with the disappearance of its formation. We need to leave quickly—if we delay, we might not get the chance."
Everyone immediately quickened their pace.
Just as they were about to board the spaceship, Planet Neo-Shengis’s surface suddenly began to shatter, breaking apart at an alarming speed in all directions.
"Move!" They rushed onto the ship.
However, once the spaceship took off, they noticed something troubling—its speed was significantly slower than before.
The black hole’s gravitational pull had fully unleashed its force.
At this point, no one had time to worry about anything else.
They pushed forward at full speed, desperate to escape.
Twenty seconds later, they turned back to look through the spaceship’s windows.
The once-mighty Planet Neo-Shengis, which had stood for a thousand years, was now reduced to cosmic dust.
It was completely devoured by the black hole, leaving no trace of its existence.
"This black hole... it just grew even larger. Did it expand this much just from consuming one star?" Amalia murmured in astonishment.
"Perhaps Planet Neo-Shengis was merely a seal," someone speculated. "Now that it’s gone, the force that was restraining the black hole has disappeared as well."
Amalia turned her gaze sharply toward the speaker—then suddenly froze.
"Where is your Yin-Yang Pearl?" she asked.
Kenny Lin sighed. "You really noticed that?"
Amalia said, "The Solvaris Star System should be disappearing soon. You’re surprisingly calm—unless you were prepared for this all along."
Kenny Lin cupped her face and gave her a kiss. "Of course, you’re my wife. You understand me best."
