Former Interstellar Mercenary In Urban Cultivation World-Chapter 1326: Faith and Confrontation
Chapter 1326: Faith and Confrontation
Each time gratitude welled up in their hearts, another strand was given.
Even after Amalia had left, she could still feel the continuous stream of faith energy emanating from them.
This faith energy not only strengthened her abilities but also made the small world increasingly stable and resilient.
She even felt that if she were to crash her small world directly into another spatial world, it might hold up without an issue.
"This is because Mother is being limited by the rules of this universe," Wealth suddenly commented.
Amalia looked at him in surprise. "It has to do with the rules of this universe?"
Wealth nodded his small head. "Of course. Faith energy usually acts directly upon the immortal being worshiped, and then the immortal feeds some of it back into their small world. But most immortals don’t do that."
Amalia asked, "Why not?"
Wealth explained, "Because they never have enough faith energy for their own cultivation, let alone to integrate it into their small world. Right now, Mother, your cultivation level isn’t high, and you’re stuck in this universe, unable to break through. So the faith energy is just strengthening your body and purifying your spiritual energy. But since that doesn’t require too much faith energy, your body can’t store it all, so it naturally flows into your small world."
"Of course, the fact that this is a technological universe also plays a role. When people personally witness an immortal’s power, they feel even greater reverence, making their faith in you even more sincere. Especially since Mother has saved them from disaster multiple times, their gratitude for you is truly heartfelt, without ulterior motives. Because of that, you receive extremely pure faith energy. The purer the faith energy, the more valuable it is—one strand of pure faith energy is worth several strands of lower-quality faith energy."
A look of understanding flashed in Amalia’s eyes. "So, does that mean this is a good thing or a bad thing for me?"
Wealth’s golden eyes widened. "Of course, it’s a good thing! Advancing too quickly is never a good thing. Right now, you’re essentially lingering at the peak of the Deity Transformation stage, using the faith energy provided by humans along with your own relentless cultivation to continuously reinforce this stage. It’s like a poorly built structure suddenly being reconstructed with the strongest steel beams—eventually, even an earthquake wouldn’t be able to shake it."
Amalia stroked his head, her voice filled with amusement. "So it looks like Kenny and I have turned misfortune into a blessing?"
Wealth nodded his head rapidly. "Of course! This is luck that even multiple lifetimes of cultivation couldn’t bring!"
On the Mystic Void Continent, if they had remained stuck at the peak of the Deity Transformation stage without breaking through, sooner or later, their enemies would have come for them—unless they never left the Green Lotus Sect.
But things were different in the Andromeda Universe.
This was an incredibly advantageous world for them because there was no one stronger than them here.
They could safely strengthen their foundation without worrying about breaking through too soon.
Sometimes, Wealth felt that his mother and dad were truly the darlings of heaven.
Otherwise, how else could they always run into such good fortune?
Of course, the fact that he had latched onto these two heavenly favorites made him even more remarkable.
Who else could have done what he did—firmly clinging to them before they even displayed their true talent? If "sharp-eyed and discerning" had a definition, it would be him.
Feeling smug, Wealth let out a gleeful chuckle, making Amalia glance at him sideways—what ridiculous thing was her fool son imagining now?
After resolving the matters of the hundred tribes, Amalia stayed in the small world for another day.
Occasionally, she guided Javier and Nazir, sometimes observing the state of the various human settlement, and whenever needed, she would appear to continue collecting faith energy.
In just a few short days, the amount of faith energy she had gathered equaled everything she had collected since meeting Khalil and the others.
Khalil and the other soldiers of the Draconis Empire actually contributed a considerable amount of faith energy as well.
However, since they had long held faith in something else, their faith energy was not as pure as that of those who had no prior beliefs.
After saving over a billion humans, the people aboard the cosmic battleship were elated, finally allowing themselves a rare moment of relaxation.
However, this sense of ease lasted only until Kenny Lin stepped out—like a song abruptly cut off, silence fell in an instant.
Wherever Kenny Lin was, the air itself seemed to drop to freezing temperatures, leaving the crew on edge, too afraid to even breathe too loudly.
Those who had never experienced this situation before were deeply concerned—had they somehow angered this immortal?
Prince Castamar who is entrusted with the task, went to find Minister Sharif to ask about the situation.
Hearing the question, Minister Sharif chuckled. "No need to worry. Mr. Kenny is probably just having a spat with Ms. Amalia and is sulking. Once Ms. Amalia comes out, everything will be fine."
Prince Castamar’s eyes widened slightly. "A spat?"
Minister Sharif nodded. "They bicker all the time. Everyone’s used to it by now. But when dealing with Ms. Amalia, you can be a little more relaxed—she has a better temper and more patience. When it comes to Mr. Kenny, though, you should be more careful."
Prince Castamar nodded. "That much is obvious. I’ve never seen someone whose anger has such a strong presence."
Minister Sharif laughed. "It’s a matter of aura."
As they spoke, the cosmic battleship suddenly shuddered—not violently, but enough to make the unprepared crew stumble slightly.
"What’s going on?"
General Rafiq’s voice immediately echoed through the communication system.
Officer Khan quickly began investigating.
It didn’t take long for him to find the answer.
"A battleship is attacking us—it appears to be an alien battleship."
Minister Sharif was startled. "An alien battleship? Why would it attack us in the Solvaris Star System?"
