The Xu sisters picked up a phone and dialed a number.
They checked to make sure no one was watching before pressing the call button.

The next morning, Qin Zhuzhu woke up and glanced to the side to see Shentu Jing sleeping peacefully.
The two of them slept together every day without any hanky-panky.
She rolled onto her stomach and propped her head up with her arm. Then, she carefully reached out and touched Shentu Jing’s face. A sudden shock of electricity rolled through her fingers, and she quickly retracted her hand.
She stole a few glances at him before reaching out again to touch his face. Slowly and gently, so as not to wake him, she traced a finger along the high bridge of his nose. Her fingers then trailed across his thin, pink lips—the same lips that had kissed the senses out of her the day before. They were so soft and tempting.
Qin Zhuzhu lightly touched his eyebrows and watched as his chest rose and fell peacefully. When he was asleep, he truly looked like a harmless angel.
Suddenly, he moved and rolled onto his side. The sudden movement sent Qin Zhuzhu into a panic. She thought he had woken up and caught her in the act, so she quickly threw herself back to her spot and closed her eyes. But nothing happened, and she didn’t hear his voice.
Cautiously, she opened her eyes and turned to see that Shentu Jing had changed his sleeping position. His arm reached out and hugged her waist, pulling her closer to his hard, muscular chest.
Qin Zhuzhu could see his muscles peeking through his unbuttoned shirt. The top three buttons were undone, revealing his taut, sexy chest. She even caught a glimpse of his nipples.
Shit! Why didn’t he button up his shirt properly or wear pajamas?
She patted her scalding cheeks, feeling her face burn. Damn, why is it so hot even with the air conditioning on?
The last time she had seen Xu Meng topless, she hadn’t felt like this. In fact, there had been no reaction at all. But Stinky Jing wasn’t even fully topless—just a little skin was showing. So why was she feeling so helpless and crazy? Has Stinky Jing spread his craziness to me? Oh god!
She forcefully swallowed and tried to go back to sleep, but it was hard to relax because her thoughts were running wild. She kept reminding herself that it was just lust she was feeling.
Qin Zhuzhu kept thinking about his lips kissing hers, her neck, and her collarbone. Flustered, she slipped out of his grasp and replaced herself with a pillow.
Shentu Jing pulled the pillow closer, snuggling against it as if it were his Little Pearl.
Qin Zhuzhu quickly rushed to the bathroom and splashed cold water on her face.
*Argh!! What’s wrong with you, Qin Zhuzhu?!* she chided herself in the mirror.
She left the bedroom in a flustered state and hurried out of the mansion. Shentu Ling happened to cross paths with her and wondered what had happened.
---
Not long after, Qin Zhuzhu was sitting at a bus stop, scrolling through her phone’s contact list. At the very bottom was a name—familiar yet distant. Her finger hovered over it, hesitating, before she finally pressed the call button.
The person didn’t answer, but a message appeared:
[Meet me at Changchun District, 6 PM.]
Qin Zhuzhu: Okay.
As she boarded the bus, two men dressed in black clothing and wearing surgical masks entered behind her.
No one suspected anything unusual, as it was common for people to wear masks after the pandemic that had broken out years ago. Some people were still paranoid and felt unsafe, so it wasn’t deemed abnormal.
The two men stood behind Qin Zhuzhu, who took one of the empty seats.
The bus driver glanced at her through the rearview mirror.
This girl looks easy to catch, the driver thought, a sly and greasy smile spreading across his face.
Qin Zhuzhu noticed something was wrong. The driver was a different person, and he kept looking at her. This wasn’t the first time she had taken this bus, so she was familiar with the usual driver.
If she suddenly tried to get off, they might be alarmed, and the situation could escalate. There were children and elderly people on the bus.
She took out her compact powder and dabbed some on her cheeks, using the mirror to scan behind her. As expected, they were there to catch her.
Qin Zhuzhu spotted a petrol station nearby. She turned to the little kid sitting beside her and whispered something into the child’s ear. Then, she discreetly passed something into the kid’s hands without the men noticing.
The kid said something to their mother, who suddenly stood up and told the bus driver she needed to use the toilet at the petrol station.
The driver, suspecting nothing, let her go with her kids. Qin Zhuzhu stood up and made her way to the bus steps.
"Miss, the bus is about to leave. You can’t get off," the bus driver stopped her.
"Then what about that mother and her kids? They haven’t returned," Qin Zhuzhu turned to look into a pair of sinister eyes.
The bus driver’s gaze roamed over her body lustfully before he answered.
"That’s their problem. But you can’t leave," the driver sneered.
The other passengers didn’t hear them, as they were seated far away.
Qin Zhuzhu forced her racing heart to stay calm and said, "Since you’ve been hired to catch me, why don’t you let these innocent people go? Arousing suspicion with multiple missing persons isn’t what you’re getting paid for, right?"
The two men snickered.
"This girl is smart. You better not play any tricks," one of them said.
The driver purposely let the passengers leave the bus, using the excuse of running out of petrol. Then, when the passengers weren’t looking, the bus sped off.
"We’ll take you somewhere, beauty," the men laughed, pressing a knife to her neck.
