"We spent over two years together… this was my first trip to another continent, and it already become memorable. Honestly, I am really happy that I got to meet you two… Back then, I wasn't even sure I could become a "master" to young dragons… it was thanks to you that I grew up a lot as a person too. You're the best disciples I could have ever asked for… but above all, you're my family, my sons." I said, glancing at Surtr and Emerald.

"Master…" Surtr started crying.

"Your son…?" Emerald was also crying.

At the end, despite being huge, intimidating dragons, we were all people… in this cruel world scarred by countless wars, what keeps it all together are the bonds of the people that keep trying until the very end.

"Come on, don't cry, it's not that bad! Once we get to land, I'll create a portal and call you over… you can stay at home while exploring the world alongside me occasionally, it's nice right?" I smiled.

And despite knowing that… they still cried.

"I'll miss you, master…!" Surtr cried.

"Me too…" Emerald sighed.

"Tch… you two… are you really going to make an old man like me cry now? Come here," I sighed, extending my large arms and hugging these two kids. "Take care and be strong. We are dragons after all. Be proud of what you are, of your bloodline and your family, alright?"

"Y-Yes!" Emerald nodded, furrowing his eyebrows.

"Will do," Surtr smiled.

"And you three! Take care alright kids? Grandma Drake will be looking over all of you as you grow, so you better behave, alright?" I asked their kids, who looked at me with saddened expressions. They couldn't speak yet, but they knew I was leaving and felt as sad as their fathers.

"Uwwwaarrr!" Mirtr cried, grabbing my leg.

"Awwrrr…" Sudiartr said, doing the same as her brother.

"Aeeehh? Awwah?" Ameraldhia said, grabbing my other leg and looking at me with her big green eyes.

"Hahaha, don't be so clingy with this old man…" I laughed. "Make sure to eat all your veggies and grow big and strong, alright? After all… it's the young generation that will be shape our future."

I patted their heads one last time, before departing with everyone else. My wives, children, and friends were all crying as well, saying their goodbyes to everyone.

"I'll miss all of you guys! You were the best friends!" Jamar was crying a lot while my daughters and everyone else patted his big mushroom cap.

"Come on now, Mirtr, that's enough, don't bother your grandpa," giggled Mina. "Thank you for everything, Master Drake! We'll forever be grateful for everything you've done."

"Indeed," Nadia said while carrying Sudiartr. "Please have safe travels!"

"Yeah! Without your help, Emerald would have never been able to become the man he is!" Amehia nodded. "Thank you for guiding him so far… and making him into the amazing dad he has become… hehe!"

"Awww, damn it! You're making my heart melt now… Make sure to take care of your husbands! They can be a little overly emotional sometimes… but they're amazing people indeed," I nodded. "And…"

I looked at Tyrannus and his tribe.

"Master Drake! We the Jungle Lizardmen, shall forever remember you with this statue made of the hardest stone we could find in the nearby mountains!"

Tyrannus and his soldiers revealed a huge statue of my ice dragon appearance, over twenty meters of height.

"Woah… Well, thanks! Hahahah! Tyrannus, make sure to take good care of your family and of your daughter and… well, of Emerald, please." I said.

"Leave it to me, master Drake," he nodded with a confident smile.

And lastly, I looked at Agni, Leona, Logi, and Aegir.

"Brother, aren't you coming with me?!" Aegir kept complaining, begging Logi to come along.

"Hahaha, sorry, sorry, but I have to stay here, sis!" Logi laughed. "This is my home at the end of the day, and this is where the people I care the most are as well… I need to protect my people; I've been asleep for too long."

"B-But…" Aegir was crying. "I want you by my side!"

"Damn it…" Logi sighed, patting her little head. "You've already grown up into a splendid goddess, Aegir… I trust you'll be fine out there…. But don't worry, we'll visit regularly, and we can chat and stuff… and of course, if some peril arrives, you can count on me."

"Uwaaaahhh! Logiiiiiii…!" Aegir started crying while hugging his blazing body, as steam filled the surroundings.

Oh well, I guess that's what I expected…

"Dragon King! We will be forever grateful for what you did for us, freeing us from the Flame Emperor, and then saving our continent from the menace of the Sun Flare Venerable, Chaos, and Pandemonium!" Agni said. "And even more… helping us revive our God, Logi! As his vessel, I promise you that I will do my best to protect our home."

"And please remember that Muspelheim is also your home!" Leona said with a gentle smile. "You're welcome any time, you, your family, descendants, friends, anybody!"

"…Thank you, you two!" I laughed. "It has sure been a long journey… It's time to move to the next page, I suppose. See ya!"

I walked away with everyone else, flying back to Fuyu. I did it roughly because I didn't want this to take too long.

After all, the longer it became, the more I had to contain my damn tears…

I was the goddamn Dragon King you know? I can't go around crying in front of all those people!

As Fuyu slowly moved through the oceans, we waved our hands at everyone on the beaches.

The same beaches we once used to step into this wonderful continent.

Hahah…

So many memories.

I will never forgive them I guess…

Ah, damn it.

"Dad? Are you crying?"

I heard Benladra's voice by my side.

"W-What? Me?! Crying? Hahaha! No way…"

I quickly cleared my tears.

"Since when has your dad ever cried?"

"…Don't talk like you don't cry, I've seen you a couple of times! And it's totally normal…! Don't feel ashamed of it just because you're a man… it's fine to cry…"
