21 -21: Speak, Don’t Get Physical
Chi Yue cried out in alarm, “Help…”
“Shut up!”
It was Fu Rao.
Chi Yue stared squarely at the man in front of her with a gloomy expression, “What are you going to do?”
“Are you with Chu Shuo now?”
Chi Yue couldn’t help but find it amusing, “You are the second person to ask me that today. ƒree𝑤ebnσvel.com
If you really want to know, why don’t you ask Chu Shuo directly?”
Fu Rao’s face darkened, “You can provoke anyone you want, just not people around me.”
“You didn’t care about me before we broke up, and now you’re trying to limit who I can be friends with?
Isn’t that going too far?”
“Chi Yue!
Are you trying to stay in my sight all day so I’ll remember you for the rest of my life?”
Chi Yue emotionlessly swatted his hand away, “Speak with words, not with hands.
If your wife sees this, you won’t be able to explain it away.”
Mentioning Qin Anlu, Fu Rao’s face grew even darker.
He grasped her chin and warned her in a low voice, “Stay away from Chu Shuo and my Fifth Uncle, they are not good people.”
Fu Rao’s grip was strong, and Chi Yue winced in pain as she tried to pull his hand away but couldn’t.
Suddenly, her gaze fixed on someone not far away, “Mr.
Fu, save me.”
Upon hearing this, Fu Rao instinctively let go and turned around, only to find nothing behind him.
When he turned back, Chi Yue was nowhere to be seen.
Fu Rao clenched his fists and silently walked toward the camp.
He didn’t see that after he had left, Fu Rongyin walked casually along the path, glancing subtly at the place Chi Yue had been standing.
Chu Shuo was worried as Chi Yue hadn’t returned for a long time and was about to look for her when he saw Chi Yue walking briskly toward him.
Chu Shuo approached her, “I thought you had gotten lost.”
Chi Yue slightly curved her lips, “I don’t think it’s quite to that extent.”
Chu Shuo wanted to smile but noticed a faint red mark on her chin.
He squinted his eyes, “Who did that to your face?”
Chi Yue, “I did it myself.”
“Don’t lie to me, there are several finger marks on your face.”
Chi Yue’s already fair skin made the red marks particularly noticeable.
“It was…”
Before Chi Yue could finish speaking, Chu Shuo suddenly dashed behind her.
When she turned around, she could only catch a glimpse of Chu Shuo dragging Fu Rao toward the stream.
“Fu Rao!
Chu Shuo, what are you doing!”
Qin Anlu dashed out from somewhere, frantically running toward the two men.
Nan Bingyu heard the commotion and also ran over, instantly noticing the marks on Chi Yue’s face, and then looking at the two men entangled with each other, she asked, “Was it Fu Rao?”
“Yes.”
Nan Bingyu was speechless, “He didn’t cherish before breaking up, and even though he’s married now, he still can’t let go.
Fu Rao really is no good.”
Chi Yue didn’t make any comment.
Her relationship with Chu Shuo was purer than tofu, and she wasn’t worried that Chu Shuo would do anything extreme to Fu Rao.
If she intervened, things would only get more complicated.
“Hey, here he comes.” Nan Bingyu suddenly nudged her.
Chi Yue subconsciously looked up, only to see Fu Rong sitting down in front of them.
Seeing them looking over, he asked, “Do you mind?”
Nan Bingyu glanced at Chi Yue, who shook her head, “Suit yourself.”
Nan Bingyu noticed Chi Yue and Fu Rong eating as if no one else were around, neither of them speaking, and she felt the atmosphere was unbearably oppressive.
She cleared her throat and said, “I’m going to wash my face.”
On the picnic mat left with just the two of them, Chi Yue’s eyes were downcast as she ate, when a hand passed her a bottle of juice.
She accepted it, “Thank you.”
“Why are you so eager to get married, what is your purpose?”
Chi Yue was taken aback.
It was the first time he had asked her the reason, but now she had no intention of discussing it with him.
“It’s not important.”
“If it’s something that doesn’t strictly require marriage to solve, I can help you.”
Chi Yue finally looked at him, her beautiful eyes turbulent, “Why are you suddenly willing to help me?”
