As long as they stationed someone to watch the area, there wouldn’t be much of an issue, especially since that area is a part of the underground sewer system, where normally no one would venture close to anyhow.

That section of the sewer system probably needs a complete overhaul, though. Luckily, it’s not a main conduit, so even if they sealed off that section, it wouldn’t cause any serious problems.

Meanwhile, Feng Yuan also promised to move all the core power sources of the city’s Divine Beasts as soon as possible, transporting them to somewhere protected by the Divine Beasts. It was precisely because of this promise that they temporarily waived the high-level secrecy measures. Seeing Qi Chen just staring silently at him, after a while, Feng Yuan said helplessly,

"Alright, alright, actually, I need it to deal with those Ancient Ruins. I can’t personally visit those places in the next few days, and if we delay, I’m afraid the Special Duty Team will have unnecessary concerns."

He didn’t think anyone could breach that core space in a short time anyway, given that it was constructed from the pages of an Ancient Book, creating a special space.
