Devilish secretary-Chapter 337 I wanted it to be perfect for my human doll
Chapter 337: Chapter 337 I wanted it to be perfect for my human doll
"I’m sick of this joke," Darkness snapped, his jaw clenched tight as he turned and stormed out of the chapel.
Lilith didn’t flinch. Her face was calm, almost unreadable, as she followed him, her steps slow but steady.
"Where are you going?" she asked, her voice soft but not weak.
"Away from you!" he shouted without looking back, his tone sharp and loud, echoing in the cold air.
Lilith watched him stomp back toward the suspension bridge. Her eyes narrowed slightly was he really that upset? She hadn’t expected that. Quickly, she ran after him and caught up, grabbing his arm just before he stepped onto the shaky wooden planks.
"Leave me," he hissed, his voice low now, almost dangerous.
"Okay... don’t be angry, alright?" she said gently, her fingers still holding him. "I didn’t do anything. I wasn’t trying to scare you."
He turned to face her slowly. The cold in his eyes made the winter wind feel even sharper.
"Then why did you bring me here?" he asked, each word icy and controlled. His voice wasn’t loud now but that made it worse.
Lilith stepped closer to him. The bridge behind them creaked faintly in the wind, and down below, the world fell silent as if holding its breath. She pointed past him toward the end of the narrow trail leading off the bridge. It was a steep slope downward, almost hidden unless you knew where to look. Trees leaned together like a gate, branches thin and bare. And just beyond them, faint golden lights flickered between the gaps.
"I know you like thrill, but not chaos," Lilith whispered. "So I planned something that only you would enjoy. Just wait a little."
Darkness looked past the slope. There was a path... a faint wooden rail barely visible... and something glowing warmly at the bottom.
He stared at her again, this time more cautious. "You planned something... there?"
Lilith nodded.
She smiled a little, her breath fogging in the cold. "Come see it. If you still want to walk away after that, I won’t stop you."
Darkness didn’t move right away. But slowly... he turned toward the hidden path.
And this time, he followed her in silence.
"Then why did you take me to that place?" he asked, his voice low and cold now. He was angry, confused. And he had every right to be.
Lilith stayed silent for a moment.
Because she couldn’t say it.
Because she wasn’t supposed to tell yet.
That place... the broken chapel... it wasn’t the surprise.
She went there only to turn on the hidden switch for the real surprise.
But how could she explain that without ruining everything?
So she just looked at him and said, "Please... just come with me."
Darkness followed her without saying anything.
The path was narrow and covered with thin snow. Trees stood close together, making the area feel quiet and hidden. Only the sound of their steps and the wind brushing through the bare branches could be heard.
As they walked, soft warm light started to appear at the end of the slope.
And then... he saw it.
A small round area opened up, surrounded by tall trees. In the middle of it stood a beautiful wooden cabin-like shelter. Its roof was half glass, showing the night sky clearly, but the walls were mostly wood with fairy lights wrapped around them. It looked like something from a dream.
Inside, a table for two was set. Black cloth on top, candles in floating bowls, and food already waiting under silver lids. Soft music played from a hidden speaker. It was warm inside, he could feel the heat as soon as she opened the wooden door.
Darkness stopped walking.
His eyes scanned everything slowly.
Lilith turned back to him and smiled. "This is your real surprise."
"You... you did all this?" he asked, his voice low.
She nodded. "You like dark places, but I wanted to add something soft for you. Dangerous, but still beautiful. Just like you."
He walked in, eyes still looking at every corner of the room. The lights, the candles, the way the stars could be seen from above through the glass roof.
"It’s... perfect," he whispered.
She looked at him, teasing, "So? Still angry?"
He stared at her for a second before walking up close, his hand brushing her cheek.
"I was never angry," he said. "I was just scared you didn’t plan anything."
Lilith smiled. "I did. From the start."
He gave her a deep look and pulled out a chair. "Sit down, Sweetheart."
She sat down slowly.
He sat down next to her, closer than needed.
"I hope you’re hungry," she said.
Darkness leaned in, voice low and teasing, "Very hungry... but I’m not sure what I want first."
Lilith rolled her eyes, hiding her smile. "Eat food first, human doll."
He laughed softly, and for the first time that night, all the coldness disappeared from his face.

After they stepped into the cabin, Darkness looked around with quiet surprise. His eyes scanned every corner — the soft golden lights, the gentle heat, and the cozy bed with thick black blankets. The room was small, but everything felt thoughtful. Candles flickered on the window ledge, casting a warm glow on the wooden walls.
There was even a small bouquet of black and deep red roses placed beside the bed.
He slowly sat down on the edge of the mattress, sinking slightly into the softness, his palm running over the fabric.
"When did you plan all this? And how?" he asked, looking up at her. His voice wasn’t sharp this time — it was low, curious, almost like he was trying to understand her more.
Lilith smiled, walking to the corner to set down her bag. Her sweater hugged her figure softly, and her hair swayed behind her shoulders.
"Who said I planned it in one day?" she said calmly, turning to face him. "I’ve been planning this for weeks."
His eyes narrowed slightly. "Weeks?"
She walked closer and stood in front of him, her hands brushing some snow off his shoulders gently.
"Everything I do for you, I don’t do in rush," she whispered. "I wanted it to be perfect for my human doll."
