Three Days Later...

It has been three days since the new announcement.

Nothing major happened in the academy after the announcement. On the third day, the academy had already sent information to the second and third year students about where they would be sent.

Only crafters from those years remained, along with all the first-year students.

The missions available at the mission hall were also amended. Most missions turned out to be crafting missions, as supplies like weapons and potions were in high demand due to the constant battles.

For the first years, the combat missions were confined to a certain distance from the academy and made sure that these regions were not under Red Alert, which means there were monster and/or cult attacks.

This is to ensure that the young talents don’t fall before their potential is utilised properly.

The biggest event in these three days was that Aaron celebrated his 19th birthday. Erika and Zara gave him a big surprise for his birthday, Reyna.

"Reyna, are you sure about this? I don’t know what they told you, but there was no need to force yourself if you are not sure about this", Aaron spoke, trying to see if she was truly comfortable sleeping with him.

From day one since he had landed in the academy, he had his eyes on Reyna, but he was not someone who could act out on things like that. Although his confidence while talking with girls improved a bit, it was not to a level where he could seamlessly ask her on a date or to have sex with him.

That was too far away, but Aaron felt there was no need for that, and didn’t practise anything for that.

He already has two girls in the academy, and maybe another outside. They are more than enough. Though he always wanted a harem, he would be an idiot if he slept and made every girl he came into contact with a part of his harem.

There is a limit, and the maximum he thought he could tolerate was five. He can allocate one day in a week to each, while the other two days would be Me Time for himself.

Everyone needs some me time.

If one counts Lyanna and Samantha, the harem number would be four. Adding Reyna, that would be five. He was not so sure about Samantha. He felt that Samantha wanted something materialistic, and the reason she slept with him.

If that is so, he would help her, and if fate permits, he can maintain a sexual relationship with her, but nothing more. It would be quid pro quo.

Lyanna, on the other hand, though there was a spark between them, Aaron didn’t think anything would happen. She has a girlfriend, though may be not at the moment because of her girlfriend’s indiscretions.

Even if she is no longer with her girlfriend, she is the vice-headmistress of the academy. So, he can’t be in a relationship with her, or it would spell trouble for her job. Aaron didn’t want that to happen.

So, she is out of the picture for at least for the next three years. In those three years, who would say that she would be single? She might find someone she loves and loyal to her.

Moreover, from what he heard from Lyanna, she only did the deed with girls, never boys. Kissing him that day was the first and only kiss she ever gave to a boy.

So, she most likely would not be a part of his harem at max tolerance.

If Reyana joins, the guaranteed number would be three. Though that may be below five, filling more than half before the first year ends, that is not something he ever thought would happen.

Also, though he felt that he could accept five as maximum, that didn’t mean he wanted to have a guaranteed five in his harem. If he was satisfied with two, then he would stop at that number.

It was why he wanted to truly know if Reyna was compelled to do this by some sweet words from Erika and Zara.

"Don’t worry", Reyna spoke, "No one is making me do anything. Erika and Zara may have spoken with me, encouraged me a little bit, but they did because I was already interested in you and wanted to be with you".

"They noticed my feeling for you and feared that I won’t be forthcoming and might miss out on the chance. their talk only emboldened me to do what I wanted to but couldn’t before. Nothing more", she smiled at Aaron.

Hearing the response, Aaron felt releived.

If it was a stranger, having sexual intercourse with here wouln’t be awkward, but Reyna is someone he knew for almost a year and if she was hear because of some sweet words of those girls, then the future scenarios between them would be pretty awkward.

The only choice would be ending their friendship and not see each other again, which would be pretty difficult with them being students of the academy.

Reyna has still more than two years, while he would be here for three. So, he was sure that there would be occasional face to face would be unavoidable. Those occassions would be pretty awkward, which he didn’t want to handle.

He didn’t want to lose one of his friends, which is he don’t have many nor wanted any awkward moments with his friend or ex-friend. So, the questions to make sure that she was one hundred percent onboard with this.

"Enough with your thinking about unnecessary things. They warned me that you would occassionally wander off. Concentrate on me and do me", Reyan turned on her sultry voice or something she thought was sultry.

Aaron smiled at moved on to her. He was not going to say no to her anymore, especially now that he was sure that there would be nothing that would go wrong and she would be part of the harem.

"This was the best birthday gift ever", he though as he moved onto her.

"Welcome", Aaron spoke and kissed her on the lips, as he held her head with his hand.
