However, Jacob quickly calmed down. His eyes flickered with deadly iciness because he knew how the Infinite Blood Sacrifice worked: the higher the cost of the wish, the more complex the task.

So, now that he had seen a whooping million years of lifespan to escape from this unknown entity, he knew whoever they were, they were terrifyingly powerful and probably a real Mythical King.

Jacob couldn't think of another explanation.

But when he thought about his Infinity Pendant and Cursed Heart, he was filled with doubts. Nonetheless, he needed to get out of here first before doing anything else, and he didn't even have a million years to pay even if he wanted to.

Jacob was about to change his wish, but he saw another vision before he could. When it ended, Jacob stopped using the Phase Shift because he saw himself falling into that jaw again right after using three more phase shifts!

Again, Jacob was filled with fear as he was now sure an entity above the Legendary Rank was targeting him, and it was not even ten seconds yet. Not only was his Universal Godly Artifact rendered immobilized, but his strongest escaping ability was also seen through!

"Damn it, why the hell are you silent? Who is chasing me?!" Jacob felt frustrated and afraid after a long time.

After over two thousand years, he was calm in the face of crisis, but this crisis was way past his limits. His Infinity Pendant had a problem for the first time, making him even more afraid.

Immortika has been suspiciously silent all this time, and despite activating the Infinite Blood Sacrifice, the Cursed Immortality has not shown itself.
