Conquering Ladies With My 10x Rebate System-Chapter 38: Stay away from the mirror
Chapter 38: Stay away from the mirror
The air was still filled with tension.
Even after the figure had disappeared, Julia and even Caleb were still on their toes.
It was very close—any little mistake and they’d both have been six feet under.
Caleb was left in his own thoughts...
He had almost lost his life—a third time!
He almost felt like Puss in Boots at the moment.
Tipping on the edges of death, and he didn’t like the idea one bit. Maybe it would be fun for someone else...
Not for him.
That was a close call... I’ll have to find a way to reveal the system powers to them without raising any suspicions. Because fuck! I can’t do this again, Caleb thought back to the fight.
He’d thought several times about using the {Absolute Freeze} skill, but with Julia present, he’d held back.
He knew he couldn’t keep doing that—or death would catch up to him soon.
They had barely survived this encounter, and he had no idea what was coming next.
It was only after a few more minutes that Julia released a long sigh,
Her shoulders slumping slightly.
But then she turned to Caleb.
Her gaze didn’t lack the usual warmth, but Caleb knew she was dead serious—no smile touched her face.
"Explain."
She went straight to the point, not beating around the bush.
Caleb pinched his nose.
How do I start? he thought to himself.
"Well, it all started with the night party..."
He went on to explain his experience with Naya, all the way to the point of Nathan’s death.
Julia didn’t interrupt, only listened—her expression darkening as Caleb narrated everything.
Her fists clenched by her sides, anger visible on her face.
"Caleb, why did you drag yourself into this entire mess... why?" she asked, her gaze softening.
Her voice cracked slightly as her eyes watered.
From their first encounter, Caleb had understood how deeply she cared for him.
And he cherished that unyielding love.
It even surprised him.
It almost felt as though they weren’t even siblings—like they were lovers.
But how was he supposed to explain to her that he wasn’t her brother? That he’d come from a different timeline, swapping bodies with her real brother?
And now he was on a quest to sleep with every female cardholder!
Caleb didn’t even know where to begin. He could only scratch his head.
Julia didn’t press further. She let out a sigh.
But then her eyes snapped open suddenly...
"Wait! Did you say that she linked the card to herself?" she asked, urgency in her voice.
"Yes, she did," Caleb replied, surprised by the sudden outburst.
"Call her. Her life is in danger! She’s the threat!"

Naya drove into her mansion.
The place looked like it had money in its bones.
Tucked in a quiet, high-end street, it had glass windows tall enough to reflect the whole skyline, and a driveway that could host a car show.
The fountain in front didn’t just bubble—it performed, lights shifting like it had a personality.
Naya stepped out of the car as her driver opened the door for her.
She gracefully walked up to the glass door.
As she stood in front of it, a small angelic voice rang out.
{Scan complete!}
{Welcome home, Naya.}
Although robotic, it still held some warmth.
Inside, everything was soft lighting and silence—polished marble floors, velvet couches no one really sat on, and a staircase that looked straight out of a movie.
It didn’t scream luxury... it whispered it, like it knew it didn’t have to try too hard.
Naya walked up to the couch and slumped onto it.
She had spent the entire day arranging for her next magazine cover—talking with different brands that wanted her to try out their clothing, watches, and accessories.
And now she was back home. If it had been before, she would have gone straight to her room and immediately crashed...
But today, she actually noticed the strange emptiness in her home—and she began to miss a certain someone.
She looked around and couldn’t find his figure anywhere.
"Tch... And now the idle star of college is suddenly very busy every time," she muttered under her breath, slightly frustrated.
There was an air Caleb brought with him.
She realized it wasn’t just the confidence or the way he talked.
It was everything.
She actually wanted to be with him, hug him and—
As the thought flashed in her mind, her face flushed pink.
’Not with that brat,’ she told herself, scoffing at the thought.
She casually glanced around. There was nothing else left to do.
Eventually, she dragged herself upstairs to her room.
As she stepped inside and looked at the wide space, her mind flashed back to the hotel.
Suddenly, everything in the room reminded her of all the styles they’d explored.
Even new ones she wanted to try began to pop into her mind.
Naya shook her head heavily.
"Arrgh!! What did that brat do to me?!" she shouted in frustration, messing up her hair as she ran her hands through it.
Her mind seemed to calm down after that... but as she turned her head to the table,
It was just for a moment, but she imagined herself spread wide across it.
Caleb in front of her, drenching her in sin.
Making her insides scream ple—
"Ahh, fuck... Just pray I don’t get you next time... You’ll be the one who won’t get a good night’s rest," she yelled, clearly frustrated.
Only when she realized what she said did her face turn peach red.
She glanced around—thankfully, no one was there.
She looked at her reflection on the mirror. Her eyes were already heavy with sleep, yet she couldn’t bring herself to sleep—Because of him
She slumped onto the bed, letting her body sink into the soft mattress.
Just then—her phone rang.
She saw the caller ID.
Several emotions flowered up inside her.
She picked up the call immediately... almost impatient.
"Took you long e—"
"Naya! Whatever you do, stay away from any mirror surface!"
