Zoey straight up cut off Chloe’s words "I’m just friends with Karl, okay?" and then she bounced.

Once Zoey left, Chloe strutted her stuff to her new apartment. When she got there, she was greeted by Amber, her fellow Homo Obscura friend who was busy unpacking. Amber immediately sensed Chloe’s confused expression.

"Hey, Chloe! You look weird. What’s up?" Amber asked with a smile.

Chloe shook her head and gave a small smile, trying to hide her confusion. "Oh, I just bumped into Zoey in the hallway. She just came out of Karl’s apartment. I don’t really know what’s going on, but... it feels weird seeing her there."

Amber furrowed her brow. "You mean Karl who works at the same place as us?"

"Yeah, turns out he lives in the same building as us too," Chloe replied.

Chloe smiled and sighed. "Turns out, Karl isn’t some earth-shattering behavior-changing man. He’s just good at covering himself up. Damn, I thought he was just a lonely weeb with no life, turns out he’s a cheater too."

Amber nodded in agreement. "Thank goodness Karl isn’t that guy, even though being a cheater is still not cool, at least he’s not controlling people’s behaviors."

Chloe finally felt at ease. "True. Maybe I was overthinking it. Karl actually seems pretty normal when you look closer. I might have just misjudged," she said more casually.

Amber laughed again, reassuring Chloe. "That’s the spirit! Besides, Zoey looks like a total flirt. She knows which guys are easy to tempt."

Chloe smiled, nodding firmly. "You’re right. Zoey might just be fooling around with Karl, I’ve got no reason to worry."

Amber patted Chloe’s shoulder enthusiastically. "Enough about that. Let’s finish organizing this stuff, and we can celebrate this move with a little chill time."

Chloe nodded eagerly, feeling the weight lifted off her shoulders. With Amber, they continued their activities in the apartment, laughing and sharing stories, now without any doubts about Zoey, Karl, or anything else that had bothered her.

Meanwhile, Karl was staring at his computer screen, "Interesting private video, my collection is starting to look solid now ahahaha...."

Grinning in front of his computer screen, Karl replayed the video he had just recorded with satisfaction. To him, the video was proof of his power and control, albeit through cunning and manipulation. He felt a sense of satisfaction in the thought that this little secret was his alone—a collection showing that he could hold someone’s life in his hands without them realizing.

Chuckling to himself, Karl organized his private video folder, naming each file with details only he understood. As if they were trophies of his victories, something showcasing how far he could control situations according to his desires.

But behind his self-assured demeanor, there was a hint of worry. Karl knew that the more he toyed with other people’s secrets, the greater the risk of his actions being exposed. However, for him, this tension was part of the pleasure he sought. He felt on top of the world, confident that no one would suspect him.

At the same time, Chloe and Amber were enjoying their time, celebrating their first day there with laughter and light-hearted stories. Deep down, Chloe felt relieved that her suspicions about Karl were nothing more than excessive worries. She was convinced that Karl was just an ordinary person—nothing to fear or be wary of. In fact, the idea of Karl being involved in Zoey’s personal affairs was now a joke between them.

"So, what do you think Zoey sees in Karl?" joked Amber, laughing.

Chloe laughed along, realizing how absurd the situation was. "Who knows, maybe Karl has a side we don’t know yet. But seriously, if you think about it, I wouldn’t be able to imagine him being some mysterious figure who controls everything!"

They both continued laughing, forgetting all suspicions and enjoying their time without any burdens.

Unbeknownst to them, Karl was planning his next moves.

Karl, staring at his computer screen, suddenly received a notification from the system.

Karl frowned, "How could this be? Did Zoey already meet Chloe and Amber?"

Karl stared at the notification with a furrowed brow, a mix of confusion and curiosity crossing his mind. He knew that "Quest Completed" meant that a scenario was unfolding as planned, but he didn’t expect it to happen so soon. Karl squinted at the screen, as if trying to understand the unexpected turn of events.

After a few seconds of contemplation, Karl finally grabbed his phone and called Zoey. He waited for a moment, until Zoey’s voice came from the other end.

"Hello, Karl?" Zoey’s voice sounded a bit tired but still friendly.

"Zoey," Karl said without beating around the bush, "Did you meet Chloe earlier?"

Zoey paused for a moment, seemingly surprised by Karl’s direct question. "Yes... I did run into Chloe in the hallway earlier. Why, Karl?" she asked suspiciously.

Karl smiled faintly, even though Zoey couldn’t see it. "Nothing. I was just curious. Have you lied to them yet?"

Zoey sighed. "Not yet, Karl, I forgot. I’ll do it later."

"No need!" Karl replied.

"Why?"

"You don’t need to know!" Karl hung up the phone.

After ending the call, Karl sat back for a moment, lost in thought. Zoey’s meeting with Chloe turned out to be a surprise for him. He had just found out that Chloe and Amber had moved to the same apartment building as him. Karl scratched his head, trying to process all of this.

"So, did they live here too, huh?" he muttered, slightly confused but intrigued. Unconsciously, a small smile appeared on his face. On one hand, he was glad to dispel Chloe and Amber’s suspicions. On the other hand, there was a small concern that his life would become more complicated—especially because Karl was playing games with two Milfs, Julia and Elena, who he had been fucked before.

Meanwhile, in their apartment, Chloe and Amber were still chatting casually. Amber looked at Chloe with curiosity. "So, you just found out that Karl also lives in this building?"

Chloe nodded with a smile. "Yeah, it’s funny. I never would have guessed. The world is small."

Amber chuckled. "Maybe it’s just a coincidence. From what I’ve seen, he seems pretty quiet."

Chloe thought for a moment, pondering Karl’s personality. "Yeah, he is quiet and maybe a bit mysterious. But honestly, I’m not too concerned. After all, we’re just work buddies, right?"

Amber laughed and shrugged. "True. I think we don’t need to think too much about it. This move has been headache enough."

Chloe nodded, feeling relieved. It seemed like all the confusion that had haunted her earlier was starting to disappear. With Amber, she felt she could start a new life in this apartment without worrying about small things.

"Let’s focus on finishing up these last bits of stuff," Chloe said, smiling.

Karl prepared for work and headed to the Convenience Store as usual.

He felt something was off there, Jason and Lily’s gazes seemed different.

"What’s up with them?" Karl wondered to himself.

As Karl entered the workspace, Jason and Lily were having a conversation.

"Are you sure Karl is the guy in the Spermberggirl video?" Jason asked.

"I’m still not sure, but from the CCTV uploaded by an account named Mr.X..."
