An Extra's POV: My Three Fiancees Hate Me-Chapter 94: Grey haired kid
Chapter 94: Grey haired kid
The sword was about to stab into Riven’s chest. She cracked a smile, seeing her sword shoot to hit the target, but suddenly Riven’s lips curled up into a smile. He immediately kicked back, moving at a speed that was almost twice hers.
He parried her sword while moving back, completely stopping the attack. Mia’s eyes widened when she saw this. She had already committed all to that attack, and he managed to get through it easily.
She planted her feet into the ground, stopping her motion, but before she could make a retreat, Riven had already charged in.
’You might have years of sword training with you, but unlike you, I have sword mastery.’
He slashed with his full strength, and she tried to block. Because she was already retreating in her steps, she tripped and fell immediately as the sword landed on hers.
She was on the ground with his sword pointed at her neck. She stared at it with wide eyes. She had lost—her, the prodigy from the Runeblade family. She was defeated in such a manner, and in front of everyone.
There was more she could have done, but Riven suppressed her from all angles. He was like a banner stretched over her—she couldn’t do anything.
"I see the both of you had quite the spar." Quin walked up to them. He briefly glanced at Riven before helping Mia off the ground.
’So that’s their rank one. No special family name, the son of a baron. Nothing really stands out about him, yet he is quite good with the sword,’ Quin thought.
"You both can rest. The others will be finishing up soon," he said and walked away.
Mia stood there enraged. She would tear Riven apart if she could, but she was a noble—her word was as important as her life.
"You won fair and square. As per our agreement, I’ll serve you for a week," she said.
"Oh, you don’t have to do that. You can do whatever you want," Riven said.
She heard those words and it hurt her more. She offered herself to this idiot, and he had the guts to refuse her. In what world was that happening? It couldn’t be hers.
"I have lost, and I’ll serve you, and that’s it," she said, clenching her fist tight. Riven instinctively knew that he was in trouble if he refused her now, so he decided to go with it.
"Fine, fine, I agree to it," he said, walking away, trying his best to suppress her anger. ƒrēewebnoѵёl.cσm
"Can’t believe you actually made her your servant for a week," Noel walked up behind him and spoke.
"Wasn’t me. She threw herself in the ring, I only did what I could do," Riven said.
After class, their mates began talking about the sparring that had happened, and every now and then, they would talk about Riven defeating a Runeblade in normal sword fighting.
Riven didn’t bother listening to them though. It was normal for things like this to happen.
"So? Are we going back to the dorm to make some lunch, or do we have to go to the cafeteria?" Noel asked.
"I guess the cafeteria is fine. They already have food prepared rather than cooking it ourselves," Riven said. Suddenly, he saw some students rushing in the direction of the cafeteria, literally running.
"What’s happening?" he asked.
"Let’s check it out," Noel said and shot through the hallway. They both made it into the cafeteria, and what they saw shocked them—a sea of first years gathered in the cafeteria, locked in an intense battle.
At the center of that battle was Jack, the wolf, and he was throwing savage hands, slamming and tossing other first years from other classes.
’Nothing like this ever happened in the story. Jack should be busy trying to get a permitted duel with Mex, not throwing hands,’ Riven thought.
"Seems like a fight has broken out, and one of the top ten students is at the center," the prince spoke. He appeared behind both of them without them noticing.
"We need to do something," Noel said. He looked at the fight, thought for a few seconds, then turned to Riven. "We can’t use any techniques when in emergencies like this, or Mr. Quin will kill us. We need more hands," Noel said.
Soon, more students gathered, and the fight was getting more intense. It was only a matter of time until the entire school was here.
"We don’t have to stop all the fight. We simply have to take out the center," Robert said and pointed at Jack.
Riven glanced at Noel, and Noel nodded, as if they sent some sort of secret code. Riven ran first, headed straight into the crowd, and immediately started to push people aside with all his strength, forcefully creating a path to Jack.
The path would only open for a brief moment, and when that happened, Noel dashed in. He got into the center of the fight, right in front of Jack. Jack didn’t care that it was Noel and threw a punch, but Noel dodged it and grabbed him by the hand, throwing him over the crowd with all his strength.
It happened so fast that no one could react to it. Riven grabbed him midair and slammed Jack onto the ground.
Jack was about to go feral again, but as he looked around, he saw Robert, Noel, Riven, and even Mia had come here. There was no way he could defeat his classmates.
The other students wanted to rush at him again, but Riven turned and faced them. "If you are willing to take on the entire class A, come at me. Else, stand back." His voice was loud and clear. Everyone stopped.
Did they really have the guts to do that now? They all knew what types of monsters had to be in class A.
"He started it. He should get what’s coming to him," one boy said.
"What the hell do you mean I started it? That class B freak with grey hair started it!"
’A class B student with grey hair? Oh shit, it’s too early for that. Why the hell is this happening now?’ Riven screamed in his mind.
