Chapter 245: Chapter 159: Harmony Brings Wealth_2
"Thanks, boss!"
Beggar Gang Disciples immediately beamed from ear to ear; following the General Sect Leader indeed meant getting a piece of the pie!
After Allen Zhang and the others took Black away, they descended the building and saw the Beggar Gang Disciples on guard duty, all smiles, while Black Sister was sitting at the reception desk applying eyeliner and lipstick.
"Over so soon?" Allen Zhang was puzzled. It had only been a few minutes.
"Boss, this was already me overperforming." The Beggar Gang Disciple honestly replied, "It’s been 16 minutes since you guys went upstairs!"
Black Sister scoffed with disdain: "Buddy, you’re all bark and no bite."
Hearing this, the Beggar Gang Disciple immediately blushed with anger, retorting: "Are you saying the screams you let out earlier were fake?"
"It was real, you’re absolutely right." For the sake of money, Black Sister nodded in agreement, "You’re welcome to come again next time, I love a quick shooter like you! Biu!"
"..." The Beggar Gang Disciple shivered with rage. If you’re so capable, then go have a one-on-one with our boss! Then we’ll see if you’re still as tough-talking!
Sieg, speaking from experience, burst into laughter: "Money can’t buy love, pal!" ƒrēewebnoѵёl.cσm
Allen Zhang and the others shoved Black into the car, everyone cramming together. They drove directly to the suburbs and stopped at Rocky Beach.
After waiting there for about ten minutes, two black Audi Q5s arrived, their license plates looking like they were faked.
The Audis parked by the roadside, and a middle-aged man in a suit with gold-rimmed glasses stepped out, looking like a well-heeled white elite, flanked by two muscular Blacks carrying firearms.
They were greeted by the sight of Allen Zhang and his armed men, clutching submachine guns and with automatic pistols at their waists, and two Black people, bruised and swollen-faced, were bound and kneeling, awaiting judgment.
The white middle-aged man leading the group asked in surprise: "Did you guys make the call? Buddy, what’s going on?"
"Are you the loan sharks?" Allen Zhang asked.
"Don’t put it that way; we’re a legitimate lending company, our interest rates are only a little higher than the street. I’m the business manager of the company; you can call me Stanssen." The elite white man smiled, offering his hand.
Damn it. Your interest rates are even higher than those street-level Blacks, and you dare claim to be a legitimate company?
Allen Zhang had always despised such loan sharks, but one doesn’t slap a smiling face, so he shook hands with the man.
Right then he said, "My people should have already explained everything clearly on the phone. Some guy borrowed money from your company to hire someone to assassinate me, but that’s been dealt with. I called you out just to see how you would resolve this. If it weren’t for your money, he wouldn’t have been able to retaliate against me. I’m already being nice by not holding you accountable!"
"I understand, our company has consulted internally and we’ve got an idea. This mistake was our oversight; we failed to consider the quality and connections of the client. You’re also victims. The guy botched his own job, tough luck for him, so we’re not planning on reclaiming that money from you." Stanssen replied promptly.
Allen Zhang was somewhat astonished. He didn’t expect these guys to be so easy-going.
Look at them, so reasonable! Unlike those pork dealers, greedy for every little penny. I merely obtained some spoils from Jon; once it’s in my hands, it’s mine. If you’re smart, you’d accept the loss!
"We’ve also heard about your reputation, Mr. Jin. The things you’ve done in Fifth Street, our company has heard of them all. Our company unanimously sees you as a valuable client, so we don’t wish to be on your bad side. If you need loans in the future, feel free to contact us; we can definitely offer you a favorable interest rate." Stanssen waved his hand, and someone handed over a business card.
That’s more like it, where harmony brings wealth.
Allen Zhang’s expression softened as he let Sieg take the business card.
The two sides then chatted hypocritically for a bit, and soon Bailey arrived with some people in a rented old Crown Victoria. They got out, pushing and shoving someone forward.
The Yellow Jacket boss, seeing both the loan company people and the two hitmen there, went pale, his legs giving way, "You liar! Didn’t you say I should turn myself in?"
"You think turning yourself in is enough to escape retribution?" Allen Zhang said impatiently, "You can’t pay off the debt, a few thousand US dollars worth of debt is enough to pay someone to kill you in there."
Better to meet your fate sooner rather than later.
"I haven’t spent all the money! I can pay off the debt!" The Yellow Jacket boss continued to argue.
Stanssen’s expression turned cold, his hypocritical face changing into a savage one: "You already booked a plane ticket trying to escape, and now you’ve been caught, of course you have to repent! If it wasn’t for Mr. Jin’s people foiling your plot, do you know how much I would have lost? I kindly lent you money, and you damn dared to wish me harm?"
Enraged, he ordered his two Black bodyguards to beat up the man, pinning him to the ground for a fierce pounding, which resulted in continuous screams and vengeful satisfaction.
"What are you planning to do with him?" Allen Zhang asked.
Stanssen raised his hand to stop the bodyguards from continuing the beating; after all, they couldn’t use him if he were broken.
Turning back to Allen Zhang, he said with a smile, "We have plenty of ways to recover money from those who don’t pay their debts. His organs are also quite valuable, and there are plenty of hospitals in Los Angeles willing to take them at a low price. Even if he worked as a male escort, he could earn money! The scrapyard he runs could also be sold for thousands of dollars. If you don’t mind, why don’t we take care of these two as well?"
