Almighty Father System-Chapter 135: Meeting An Old Friend.

Leo and Lily continued to live through the dream, and they made the town prosperous. They had used the business tactics to establish a great fame for the Cardinal family and Lily had grown into a well versed scion. She could now even manage a lot of things on her own, despite being the fluttery butterfly before her parents, she was now a noble young miss outside their eyesight.

The task was about to be completed, and when he got out, he would be getting the reward that the system promised him. Thinking about it, he couldn't help but wonder what the future would be like.

To be honest he had gotten used to the life in this dreamscape, and all he wished now was to go back and the system doing something about his mental adjustment. Thankfully, the people in the dreamscape were somewhat similar to his real life.

The young man heard the door being knocked, and he said, "Come in."

The door pushed open and Lily came inside, when the system said, 'Host, it is time to wake up from the dream. You have done a good job this time.'

Leo was surprised but then he smiled and beckoned his daughter over to him, and Lily hopped around the table, before she said, "We can now use apples to make jams."

Leo listened to her intently as she described to him how they could use another item as the product, and gradually his eyes grew heavy and he fell asleep.

The next moment, Leo woke up in his bed, with Snow laying beside him. Looking around he found the similar modern setup of instruments and the rest of the things. He sighed and he got up to walk out of the room and check on Lily. When he reached over to her room, he could hear the calm breathing coming from inside.

His body and his senses have increased several folds and this was why he could tell that she was still sleeping peacefully. The young man walked around anxiously, before he made his way to his own bedroom, and took a shower.

He came out and found Lily walking out of the room with her pajamas and bird nest hair, looking the absolute epitome of innocence. Leo picked her up and asked, "No workout today?"

Lily nodded and said, "I just wanted to see you."

Her voice was so small and soft that Leo couldn't help but smile and pat her back gently as she laid her head on his shoulder. After a few minutes, the girl woke up and said, "I will get ready."

The young man let her down and after a few minutes, she came out of the room dressed up in a light grade fleece jacket and track pants with her small white running shoes. The two of them were about to walk out when Snow came out and said, "Are you two plotting to leave me alone?"

Leo chuckled and he embraced the girl in his arms as he said, "Without you, how could we exist, my love?"

Lily nodded and said, "Ma, why do you feel like we don't love you? Do you know that had it not been for you, I might not have appeared in the world."

The young man nodded, and Snow sighed, as she said, "You should not tag-team me like this, making me the enemy."

The two people chuckled and they all rushed out to run. After coming back, they all dressed up, ate the breakfast, and then they all headed to their own designations. The young man sat in the chair in his office, and asked, 'System, why is it that some of the memories are hazy?'

'Ping: Host, your memories will unlock slowly as you adjust to reality.'

Leo nodded and after a few minutes, he got on with his work. He analyzed reports and then the system pinged, 'Ping: Host, the task assessment is complete, you have been rewarded with a mountain land on the northern reaches of the Clover Nation. The deed of the land would be delivered to you in an hour.'

The young man took a deep breath and said, 'Thank you.'

The system replied, 'Ping: Host, you don't have to thank me, it is my duty to see that the rewards are delivered to you after the task has been handled smoothly.'

Leo stood up, and then he went out of the office to look for Kyle. He took a round around the three candy factories and inspected the products they made. He held a meeting with the managers and talked about the products and a new marketing campaign was also discussed.

At the end of the meeting, Leo said, "To reach the customers more efficiently, we must set up kiosks and demonstrate live hard candy manufacturing skills of the people in the kitchen. These sorts of candies sell highly."

After a few minutes, the young man left the company, many people were surprised by the efficiency of this young man.

In the car, Leo said, "Kyle, take me to the Gorgeous Boutique on the Tyrant Drive."

Kyle nodded and then Leo leaned back to catch a nap and train his body inside the virtual realm. After an hour, Kyle said, "Sir, we have arrived."

Leo opened his eyes and looked outside as he said, "I will be back in a bit."

He took a deep breath and came out of the car to look around for a bit before he located the store he wanted to visit. He walked over in calm strides and stared at the plaque, Embroidered Dreams.

He pushed the big handle on the door, and stepped in.The people who were browsing through the various articles they had on display, looked around to see the young man. Leo was not fazed, he looked at the lady who walked up to him. This lady was a sales executive, and she asked, "Hello sir, what can I do for you?"

The young man nodded, and asked, "May I ask if the owner of this store is Miss Grisha?"

The executive nodded, and Leo smiled as he took out his business card and said, "Please pass it to her, and tell her that I would like to have an appointment at the closest date possible."

The young lady nodded and then she said, "Yes, Sir. I will inform her when she comes in."

Leo nodded and turned around just to leave when the shop door was pushed open and a stylish young lady walked inside the store. The two people looked at each other and froze.

A few moments later, the young lady on the other side raised her brow and asked, "Leo Cardinal, what the fuck are you doing in my store? Get lost."

That said, she walked past him but Leo smiled and said, "I am planning to have you design the wedding dress and jewelry for my wedding with Snow."

The lady froze once more, she turned around, grabbed his collar and asked begrudgingly, "Are you serious?"

Leo nodded and said, "I can even have you call her mother to confirm this. My daughter would be the ring-bearer."

The lady opened her eyes wide and asked loudly, "You have a daughter? Fucking hell, you swine, when did you plan to tell me about all this?"

Leo chuckled and said, "As soon as you let go of my collar, I will tell you everything."

The lady realized that she was holding onto his collar too tightly and let go of it, as she said, "Come in my office."

Leo nodded and followed her, the rest of the customers looked at each other and shrugged it away. They didn't come here to be nosy about someone else's quarrels.

Inside the cabin Leo sat across the young lady, who had black hair, and a sharp face, with a dot like mole on the corner of her eye. She looked very stunning, and had been listening to Leo's story very carefully. She asked, "After all that you and her suffered, could you not have come to look for me? Do you know that I thought she left the nation after what happened to your family? To think that this girl is living in the same city and yet she managed to avoid me, and not only that, both of you rascals hid the fact that I am an aunt and a godmother from me is what vexes me the most."

Leo raised his brow and asked, "Since when did you become Lily's godmother?"

The young lady scoffed and said, "You call that woman over and she will tell you about the deal she had with me. I don't care what you do, but you have to call her over. I was her best friend and she owes me this much, and also, bring my darling niece over as well. You have one hour."

Leo looked at the time in hsi watch and said, "Fine, but if I do so, you will not charge me any money to design the dress and jewelry."

The lady nodded and said, "Fine, but call her over."
