After Switching Bodies, the Mad Overbearing CEO Takes Over the Entertainment Industry-Chapter 253 - 248: Give Me a Chance to Be with You
Chapter 253: Chapter 248: Give Me a Chance to Be with You
Ji Tian glanced at Qin Jiangsheng and showed him the makeup products she had drawn, which surely silenced him in just one look.
He was silent for a full minute before Ji Tian gently coughed, "Let me see what you drew."
Qin Jiangsheng handed her the slip of paper, which listed eyebrow pencil, eyeliner, and wine red lipstick.
Looking at the eyeliner, Ji Tian’s eye twitched, "Do you know how to use these?"
"Can you?" he countered.
Ji Tian felt a bit guilty, "Not really."
Regarding the scoring criteria, there were judges on site, and certainly, the team who did a better job would score higher.
Now it was the girls’ turn to do the makeup on the boys.
Jian Chuyi was lucky, having drawn foundation, concealer, and a box of blush.
She was already doing Tang Yu’s makeup. Tang Yu was terrified, constantly dodging, "I’m a manly man, naturally beautiful, what’s the use of all this!"
Jian Chuyi blinked her big eyes, moved closer to observe his skin, and exclaimed in surprise, "Tang Yu, your skin is really nice, no acne scars or blemishes even up close."
Her warm breath sprayed as she leaned in so close that Tang Yu thought she was about to kiss him, scaring him to press himself against the chair. But she stopped about three centimeters from him.
Tang Yu was somewhat annoyed, "Jian Chuyi, why are you so close to me? Back off a bit."
Jian Chuyi pouted, looking aggrieved, and moved away, "Why are you so fierce, I didn’t do anything."
Hearing her cry, Tang Yu’s head ached. Jian Chuyi was the most tearful girl he had ever seen. A little shout or scolding, and she might burst into tears.
Not wanting to be called for a "meeting" by Ji Tian, he quickly changed the subject, "Hurry up and do it, make me look good, or... I will make you look ugly!"
Meanwhile, Ji Tian was still struggling to choose which eyeshadow color. Looking at Qin Jiangsheng’s flawless handsome face, she found it difficult to decide, so she chose to respect the "victim’s" wishes and put an eyeshadow palette in front of him, "Pick a color."
Qin Jiangsheng glanced over the red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, purple palette, forming a complete rainbow, plus there were black, brown, light brown, pink, sparkling glitter, and heart-shaped sequins. None were to his liking.
Seeing him falling silent again, Ji Tian decided for him, "Let’s go with pink. You also have a Barbie pink lipstick, it’ll match well."
He grudgingly murmured agreement, and Ji Tian licked her lips, stealing a glance at Gong Dongxi. She was a veteran makeup artist, very skilled in this craft, seamlessly doing makeup on others. She applied layer upon layer of powder on Feng Xu’s wheat-colored skin, making his complexion lose its natural tan.
After studying for a while, she finally started. Qin Jiangsheng’s skin was fair, the pink eyeshadow made his eyes appear red underneath the white, and as he closed his eyes, his long black eyelashes stood out. Ji Tian’s hand was steady, cautious not to make a mistake.
Three minutes later, she had applied most of the makeup, a soft and delicate pink. She reached for the mascara and saw his eyelids twitch, so she quickly covered them with her hand, "Don’t open them, I’m not done yet."
Her palm carried a light scent of roses, refreshing and calming.
Qin Jiangsheng kept his eyes closed, listening to her chatter, "Qin Jiangsheng, your eyelashes are so beautiful, thick, black, and long. You must’ve been crafted by Nuwa herself, such a refined clay figurine."
Ji Tian couldn’t find anyone better looking than Qin Jiangsheng.
He was endowed with exceptional looks by the heavens but wasn’t granted a fortunate birthright.
With a few strokes of the brush, Ji Tian was done and satisfied with her handiwork, "Wait up, I’ll just apply the lipstick and we’ll be all set."
The lipstick had been used by many, so Ji Tian wiped the top layer and used her fingertip to apply it to his lips.
Qin Jiangsheng just felt a soft tickling on his lips, an itch that rippled into his heart.
Her breath spread over his cheek, light and soft, as if a feather tickled across his skin. This was the longest and closest Ji Tian had ever been to him. Suddenly, he felt that this torturous activity might not be too bad after all.
Three minutes later, she said, "Okay, you can open your eyes now, but you have to promise me you won’t get angry. I did my best."
Qin Jiangsheng opened his eyes and looked at his reflection in the mirror. His eyelids twitched rapidly as he saw his eyelids powdered pink, looking like a monkey’s butt, with heart-shaped sparkles stuck under his eyes. The mascara made his eyelashes curl and lengthen even more, and his thin lips were coated with a layer of lip oil topped with a garish Barbie pink shade, shimmering so much it almost hurt to look at.
Ji Tian admired her handiwork: "Don’t your lips look so kissable now?"
Qin Jiangsheng replied, "Do you want to kiss them?"
Ji Tian: "...I don’t have any plans to do so."
"Oh."
"Cough, don’t like it?"
Qin Jiangsheng’s face was expressionless: "No."
"So you like it?"
He said nothing.
His contradiction and pride amused Ji Tian, who consoled him: "Bear with it for a bit longer. After the fourth segment, you can go remove it."
Qin Jiangsheng stood up and pulled her onto the chair: "Your turn."
Ji Tian looked at him in horror: "You’re not planning revenge on me, are you?"
Qin Jiangsheng, silent, began selecting his brow pencil and eyeliner.
Fearing that Qin Jiangsheng would make her out like a decrepit witch, she negotiated cautiously: "Jiangjiang, go easy when you do the makeup. See, my eyebrows are quite thick, just a few strokes will do, and for the eyeliner, no need to extend it too much, just fudge a bit right at the base of my lashes."
Qin Jiangsheng leaned in, pinched her cheek with no particular emotion, and said, "Close your eyes."
Ji Tian immediately closed her eyes, afraid that she would burst out laughing the next second upon seeing his makeup.
With a tinge of helplessness and tenderness in his eyes, he thought to himself, what a fool she was.
He meticulously drew on her eyebrows with the pencil; her brow shape really was beautiful and needed little embellishment. When his fingertip touched her eyelid, he could clearly feel her quiver slightly, her body tensing up—probably fearing he’d play a prank on her.
The eyeliner pencil touched down where her lashes began, and he drew the latter half in one smooth motion.
He applied bright red lipstick on her, in the same way she had done, as soft on her lips as he’d imagined.
Then, he stood up without any fuss: "Done."
As Ji Tian opened her eyes, Qin Jiangsheng was wiping his fingers with a wet tissue.
She looked in the mirror and did a double-take at her reflection.
The slightly elongated tips of her eyebrows, the round, spirited doe eyes were enhanced with just a couple of strokes from him, adding a hint of allure. Coupled with the flattering lipstick—not a heavy, bold red, but rather a diluted vintage pomegranate red, perfectly showcasing the features of her face.
She turned out to be the most beautiful one amongst all the girls who had their makeup done by the boys.
The result was unsurprisingly in Ji Tian’s favor, a composite score of seven points, while the other groups scored even lower.
After removing her makeup in the restroom, Ji Tian caught up with Qin Jiangsheng, who had droplets of water sliding down his face.
"Jiangjiang, you can actually do makeup; that’s really impressive," she said with a touch of flattery in her voice. She truly lacked the skill, so to prevent Qin Jiangsheng from brooding, she could only sweet-talk him.
However, Qin Jiangsheng was not the least bit offended, and with a light laugh he said, "What I know goes far beyond what you’ve seen. Give me a chance to be with you, so you can get to know me on a deeper level."
