After Betrayal: Lightning Marriage to Mr. Enigmatic-Chapter 43 Dislike
Chapter 43: Chapter 43 Dislike
Isabella Weaver’s expression was cold and clear as she splashed another basin of water over: "If you don’t want to keep taking cold showers, delete my photos and videos right now, then shut up and get out."
Her voice wasn’t loud, but combined with her exceptional and ethereal beauty, even when she cursed, it surprisingly didn’t seem the least bit mundane.
The few people taking pictures, looking at the basin in her hands and fearing another splash, had no choice but to grit their teeth and leave. Before leaving, they even threatened her: "Hmph, Isabella Weaver, just you wait. We’re going to post on the forum and let everyone see your true vicious face!"
Isabella didn’t pay any attention to such threats. Anyway, with her already in debt, a few more posts smearing her wouldn’t make a difference.
For a moment, she was the only one left in the restroom. Finally, with no one disturbing her, she could wash up in peace.
When she finished washing up, returned to the dormitory, opened her computer, and clicked on the school forum webpage, she saw her name at the top of the trending list again.
Clicking on the link with her name, it was filled with all kinds of gossip and dirt about her.
The latest one was unmistakably the video of her splashing water.
The likes and comments quickly surged to ten thousand.
Of course, none of the comments were good; all of them were scolding her.
The female students in university were overflowing with energy, doing nothing every day but loving gossip, and even during class, they never missed a chance to comment and scold someone.
"What a vicious girl; it was just a picture, and she retaliated like this!"
"In such cold weather, getting splashed with cold water could cause a cold. They’re so pitiful, and Isabella Weaver is so excessive. Just go die already!"
"Such a vicious woman doesn’t deserve to stay at our university, Isabella Weaver, get out of Wayne University!" freeωebnovēl.c૦m
"Yeah, get out of Wayne University!"
...
Isabella casually flipped through a few pages, and they were mostly asking her to get out of Wayne University. She shook her head, closed the webpage, and clicked on another piece of gossip about herself.
Compared to the water-splashing news, this gossip was much more explosive.
The title was: Isabella Weaver One Night with Two Men, Is it Human Nature’s Distortion or Moral Degeneration!
The content was about her history of being kept, with pictures and words, telling how she went from being kept by an old man to being kept by a chubby one, and then by a rich, handsome guy, featuring Jeremy Duff and Harry Hunter.
The photo of Jeremy wasn’t clear because it was taken at night, so his face couldn’t be seen, only his chubby body and the white Lincoln, which is how he got the nickname Chubby White.
As for Harry...
Isabella looked at the handsome face on the computer screen, somewhat lost in thought.
The one who posted this gossip article was undoubtedly a girl, who must have been extremely fond of Harry, as she attached over a dozen pictures of him from different angles.
The photos were candid shots and hadn’t been beautified, yet Harry’s tall posture and chiseled features were flawless under the lens, comparable to any popular male celebrity!
Isabella let out a sigh; so, he had already reached this level of perfection.
The very end of this gossip article was a photo of Harry kissing her.
The article’s author reluctantly described: Isabella Weaver’s mysterious boyfriend bid her farewell with a kiss, merely brushing foreheads, not like the usual kiss between couples, suggesting he didn’t like her, and it was more likely a one-night stand.
Isabella thought of that kiss and instinctively touched her forehead.
Even the author could tell Harry didn’t like her, and the thought that had been hanging over her finally settled, and she felt much more at ease.
It wasn’t that she was belittling herself; it was just that after being inexplicably pursued by Milo Field, she had developed significant doubts about any sudden attention from the opposite sex.
