The live show, Survive in Wilderness was a hit.

There were thousands of participants in the game show. They would all start by parachuting from a plane and land randomly in a primary forest.

The participants would have to rely only on a backpack, a water bottle, and a dagger to survive.

Yu Beier was only eight years old when he joined the game show so that he could buy the cure for his ill mother with the prize money. He was the youngest to have ever participated, and he had accidentally woken up a wilderness survival system.

When the show started, the viewers were utterly shocked. From climbing the tallest mountain to crossing the ocean, conquering the forest and swamp, and managing an island, there was nothing that Yu Beier could not do.

“Dude! That eight-year-old boy is living a much more interesting life than us!”

“Yu Beier is the apex among men!”

“Whenever I see his stream, it feels like I’ve just lived an extra life!”

I was reincarnated as the supporting character of a novel. As a wingwoman in a depressing romance novel titled at that. Romance is out of the question, and the future of my family is ominous because of debt. I was going to become a civil servant to gain some of the splendor I never got in my last life…but the male love interests are acting kind of strange?! “Just think about it, does Shushu look like someone who would blush and act shy?” “Wow…….that would be great.” Cory said as he stared at Hylli in a daze, and Yves frowned and whispered to himself. “Should I just kidnap her…….” Swan wrapped his face with both of his hands and stayed quiet. His face turned bright red. The blush turned his ears red. Why are you guys fooling around, you’re supposed to be obsessing over the heroine. “What the fuck? What is going on? Have I completely lost it?”

As I stare panicky at the dot unable to decide what to do, the white dot disappears and a line of text appears in its place.

[Installing files. 1% done…]

As I watch the text in shock, the percentage gradually increases. […2%...3%...4%...]

I move to the living room in a zombie-like manner, too shocked to think clearly and lie down on the couch.

“Something is wrong with me; I think I finally lost my sanity…”

[…12%...13%...14%...]

Unable to affect the situation in the least, I stare dejectedly at the percentage increase, while my mind starts exploring the possible explanations. In the end, as the percentage hits 90%, I narrow it down to three possibilities.

The first possibility is that I am in fact still unconscious and this is all a product of my mind. I pinch myself and whimper at the pain, as in my nervousness I used almost all my strength.

Nope, the first is out.

The second possibility is that I have completely lost my mind and am suffering from delusions. Hmm, I cannot exclude this, but while possible, I don’t think that this is it. The only thing out of the ordinary is that fucking line of text.

The third possibility …

The text disappears and a new message appears in my eyes…

The third possibility … is that I gained a system. I read the message with my mouth agape at the implications.
