He raced home the day his VR unit arrived with the game. His enthusiasm was so great he spent 12 hours to make his character look similar to the NPC with the same name as him.

Lucian Von Silver was a baron who had a fiancé in the game that would devolve into one of the early villains because of his jealous and how the protagonist would approach his fiancé Carmilla. This friction would eventually escalate until he died at the hands of Lance. Carmilla also died trying to block the sword aimed at his heart, showing her true feelings that were hidden all these years.

The moment Lucian created his character, lightning struck his apartment first, frying his computer. He thought to salvage his computer only for the second bolt to arc and strike him. Lucian died instantly.

Lucian awoke to find himself inside a strange mansion inside a casket. He has switched bodies with the former NPC Lucian Von Silver the baron. His blood boiled, although he was given a second shot at life. He was stuck inside a useless playboy who had nothing but his body as capital.

His fiancé was the beautiful woman named Carmilla. She struggled to show her emotions properly, which led to the strangely dense playboy and her to miss each other’s affection for each other.

Lucian felt despair. He wasn’t smart enough to survive with ease. Neither was he a martial artist with hidden powers. Just an unfortunate boy who failed to protect his sister and became a shut in.

A system appeared to save him from death.

“They said the same thing to my father.. but they were wrong. I don’t trust anyone’s word.” The princess replied standing up. The more her anger rose, the darker her eyes got.

“You should just be fortunate that I am not my father. Do you know what he did when faced with a similar situation?” with no reply, she continued

“He killed almost all of them. You could say it was a massacre. Me, I won’t got that far, but if anything happens to him, I will personally kill the person who touches him.”

In the northern part of the world, a long-standing battle between various races and the demon race has finally reached its end. The development of fighting energy and mana has allowed ordinary humans to fight demons, leading to the demon army's defeat.Aware of the Alliance's intent to enslave the abyssal demon, the Demon Lord decides to cast a forbidden spell that will cost her life. As the Alliance forces storm the palace, they hesitate upon sensing the spell's energy. The Demon Lord vows to resist and be reborn to save her people.Meanwhile, the goddess reflects on the demon lord's past treatment of her and acknowledges her respect and dedication to her people. As the demon lord prepares to cast the spell, the goddess asks if she can abandon her plan and live freely. However, demon lords are duty-bound to restore the demon race's glory and protect her people.Understanding the demon lord's resolve, the goddess readies her sword, intending to clash with the demo lord's forbidden spell. The resulting explosion creates a mushroom cloud, marking the end of the conflict and the start of a new era. The Demon Lord and the Goddess become historical figures, their stories occasionally told.
