The moment I said that, both me and creature launched towards one another.

My figure burning through distance, whilst distance collapsed before it to give way, both of us materializing at the same time, blows primed for impact as they landed with catastrophic violence...

BOOOOOMMMMMM!!!!!

The already melting floor exploded into a shower of lava and debris, but our figures were already gone.

BOOM!!!

The air detonated outwards as we clashed continuously, neigther gaining the upper hand, until, finally, the mood shifted.

Swoooshhh!!!!

Elira’s speed increased as the atmosphere removed resistance once more, her blade appearing within the creature like it was there all along..

ROOOOOOOARRRRRRRR.

It roared, arms raised to retaliate, too slow.

Bang!

A kick to the head sent its skull caving in as its figure was launched sideways.

I gave chase.

Blade descending as the creature struggled to retaliate, still too slow..

Riiiipppppp!!!!!

The sound of its right arm coming apart..

Rooooarrrrr!!!! Another shriek of pain tore out the creature’s throat but I didn’t relent.

A cleaving strike, took out the creature’s leg.

Another kick broke half its ribs.

The creature tried to retaliate, but the atmosphere was finally fighting back.

I may have dispelled void-tempest, but that never meant the atmosphere had stopped taking scores, and now, the creature was finally getting to know what it felt like when nature wanted you dead..

ZZZZTTTT.... BOOOMMM

A spontaneous bolt of lighting struck the retreating creature as it tried to recover its servered limbs, its figure going limp for a brief moment, that moment being all I needed to deliver another devastating strike that bisected the creature into two equal halves...

"BARRAGE!!"

Flaming weapons manifested.

Swords. Spears. Axes. Arrows.

All fired at once.

No misses.

No resistance.

Only impact.

Its Screams followed.

"ENOUGH OF THIS!!!!!!"

The creature bellowed from within the flames as its aura exploded outward, erasing every weapon I’d conjured up.

Its figure reappeared, battered, bruised, yet undeniably alive...

"I have had enough of this!!" Finally, the creature was no longer smiling, it was no longer enjoying the thrill, now, it was angry, but that. Was just the first step..

CLAP!!

It brought its palms together as a malevolent aura gathered around it.

Slowly, the arms parted, a grey point of light appearing between the two separated hands..

"INVERSE POINT!" The creatures roared as the unthinkable happened...

Swoooshhhh

Swoooshhhhh

Swooooshhhhh...

From all corners of the ruined landscape, the flames from Hellish forge, were being sucked into that grey point, nothing was spared.

Buildings.

Rubble.

Flames.

Everything was sucked into that grey point until eventually? The world itself became a lifeless grey..

"I’m my presence, all things shall inevitably COLLAPSE!" The grey point of light twisted upon itself as it collapsed inward, disappearing from sight, what was left was me, and the now grinning creature, "I told y.." Yet before it could feel happy.

TSS... TSS...

Sparks ignited within the surroundings, and then.

Fwoooooshhhhhhhhh...

The hellish forge returned, hotter, more powerful....

"IMPOSSIBLE!!!"

"You talk too much." I had already appeared above the spiraling creature, Elira’s flaming axe descending in a cleaving arc.

"NOOOOOO!!!!!" The creature roared as it tried to mount a hasty defense, only for the atmosphere to compound its body with wind resistance, its movement becoming sluggish, so before it could even consider reacting...

RIIIIIPPPPPPP!!!!!!!

Its body was split evenly once more..

"UNENDING BARRAGE!"

Weapons spawned once again.

This time covering the skies as they plummeted...

BOOOOMMMMM!!!!!

BOOOOMMMMMMMMM!!!!!

BOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!

The earth shook continuously as the barrage continued without end, the creature’s pain filled screeching resounding nonstop..

....

..

Slowly, the barrage slowed as I could no longer hear the haunting wails of the creature..

Dispelling the dust that had risen, the creature’s form made itself seen.

Unrecognizable.

That’s all I could use to describe it.

It had been burnt beyond recognition, hell, the fact it was still alive was testament to the creature’s unyielding nature.

Finally deciding it was time to end it, I raised Elira, yet before I could strike, I caught its whispers.

They were broken at first until they became clearer and clearer...

"Break.. split.. collapse... break.. split.. collapse... BREAK!!! SPLIT!!! COLLAPSE!!!!!!"

Fwoooooooshhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!

A dark decaying aura erupted from the creature....

SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That sound wasn’t the creature, that was the atmosphere crying in utter pain and horror as the sheer presence of the aura pouring out of the creature twisted the entirety of the atmosphere.

A stream of notifications flew through my peripheral vision but I dismissed them, now wasn’t the time to starting taking stock.

My hellish forge was already flickering like a candle light in the storm..

I looked down sharply, the creature had stood, its form transforming once more.

It sprouted two extra heads, four extra arms, its figure growing to a staggering twenty foot tall...

RAAAWWWWWWWGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!

Its roar visibly tore the atmosphere apart as her screaming voice sent my emotions spiking..

I had to act..

And I had to act fast..

I planted Elira’s flaming form into the floor, a hand dragging across her flaming blade, my blood pooling within my palms as I whispered quietly...

"Hellish Soul scape..."

"Blerghhhh!!!!!" My mouth opened as a violent spray of blood poured out like a dam..

But, it was enough.

The damage, had already been done....

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The newly transformed creature let out a gut wrenching wail that shattered the air, its hands grabbing its heads as it rammed them repeated into the burning floor...

"MAKE IT STOP!!!"

"MAKE IT STOP!!!"

"MAKE IT STOP!!!"

The creature bellowed in utter agony, yet all it got was a cold silence as I watched it writhe and wail until it’s energy started waning..

Its form began shrinking as its screams slowly died down into wordless whimpers...

...

A heavy silence settled upon the place as the creature’s wailing finally died out completely...

Step!

Step!

Taking one burning step after the other, I approached the downed figure slowly.

"You. You win." 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞

"You’re the one true king."

"Finish it."

Silence.

Looking down at the fallen creature that had closed its eyes in acceptance, awaiting its death, a savage grin slowly split my flaming face..

"You believe this is it?" I laughed, a raw, throaty sound..

I planted Elira softly into the ground as I knelt beside the collapsed figure...

"What... what are you doing?" For the first time today, I could finally see the emotion I’d been waiting for within these creatures.

FEAR!

"Good. That is the perfect expression a filthy mongrel like you should be wearing in my presence!"

I leaned forward, placing my fingero on its forehead..

"No... please.."

"I had promised you a slow and agonizing death."

"Please... mercy...."

"You think this is the end?" The moment my burning finger touched his forehead, the game was already over..

"This, is merely the beginning." I whispered slowly into the creature’s ears.

"For your reckoning, has only just begun" I concluded as I muttered beneath my breath...

"hellish soulscape.."

The moment the word left my lips, a wordless scream tore out of the creature, as truly, it’s reckoning had only just begun.

A/N: ahhhhhhhh!!!!! I didn’t do justice to this Chapter!!! All the epic scenes I’d envisioned, gone!! Man! I hate working fr!!! Shit!! I hope you guys still found it enjoyable though...
