Chapter 106: Suspect

The air felt uneasy. The cheetahs no longer had that distasteful look on their faces but wariness. Jia Hao remained in his Lion form and he made his way to Mira’s side. Mira looked down to face him. She let her hand reach for his massive facial fur and sank her fingers into his. Jia Hao purred. He let his face rub against Mira’s side as his tail wiggled behind him, settling on her behind.

"Good kitty." Mira whispered. She had no idea how relieving it would be to meet someone outside the cheetah clan. Someone who did not hate her. She felt so much better having him by her side.

"Jia Hao, please take Mira away from here and back to my home. I want to speak with my tribe alone." Ming Fao requested. He was still shifted in his beast form.

Jia Hao nodded and peered his head up to look at his wife. "Hop on and hang on tight." He said to her. Mira wanted to but having a man between her legs for hours the night before meant limitations to how wide and high her legs could go.

"Please lower your form for me." She said to Jia Hao, her tone low so only he could hear. Jia Hao fell flat to the ground and waited for her to climb. Mia got on top of him and tucked her fingers into his furry, facial hair then clung onto it.

"I am ready." She said to him. With that, Jia Hao stood and zoomed off in the direction of Ming Tao’s home, leaving the rest of the beast people behind.

Mira sunk her head in his body all through the ride. Jia Hao scented like home. It was way too relaxing and she could sleep on his body if he was not moving.

"We’re here." Jia Hao stated.

Already? I do not want to get up from your warmth, Mira whined in her head. She stroked Jia Hao’s body and placed a kiss on him. "Lower yourself, my king." Mira muttered, her voice a gentle purr. Jia Hao did as she said and waited till she got off him. This was when he shifted.

Mira’s eyes shot out of her sockets immediately at the sight of him. She immediately pushed herself to him and used her hand as a shield to his cock. "Children parade this coalition, Jia Hao. Are you trying to blind them?" Mira gasped. She held his wrist and pulled him inside.

Jia Hao had a grin plaster his face. He missed this. He missed her. He missed everything she stood for. Her pats. Her fragrance. Her small breedable form. Her voice. He missed the mother of his children and it killed him to be away from her for so long and that was the reason he embarked on this journey.

Well, part of it.

It was his eagerness to see her that made him follow her scent and find her where she was and that was why what he witnessed angered him to the bone. The cheetahs hated this amazing woman and they did not hide it one bit. She did not deserve that.

"You do know that children know the instrument through which they were born." Jia Hao stated to Mira when he was inside the home.

Mira choked out of air. "Maybe they do but still. Decency please. Don’t go about flashing what is mine." She said. Mira wandered around a little longer then made her way to Ming Tao’s chambers. She returned back to where Jia Hao was with a cloak. "Here. Take this and conceal every," Her eyes rested between his legs and she swallowed. How on earth did that fit inside of her not once but countless times? Mira cleared her throat to stop her mind from wandering and faced his face. "Distraction." She worded, a completion to her statement. For a second, she forgot she was speaking.

Jia Hao took the cloak from her. "As much as I would love to keep seeing you flustered at the sight of me, I will respect your decision, love." Jia Hao said. He spread the cloak behind him and tried to dip his hand in. His hand did not enter after a certain length. He was more built than Ming Tao after all. Jia Hao chuckled. "I think you need to find a replacement to this attire or I fear I may ruin it." He uttered, a smirk evident on his face.

"Did you not bring any clothes?" Mira asked.

"I did." He responded. "I left them with my men you failed to allow return back to me after your arrival here."

Oh shit, Mira thought as her eyes widened. She completely forgot about their existence, she was so caught up with so many things here that it skipped her mind. And if in fact those lions had been here all along, why had they not been her escorts for so long? Why did they not come to work in the farm or take her side in unfavourable situations? They were like ghosts so it was hard for her to remember them.

"My bad." She mumbled.

Jia Hao chuckled. "It is okay, I can see that you have a lot of work cut out for you."

Mira giggled nervously. "You think? These cheetahs look like they want to eat me and I have no clue how to make them like me. Even the children hate me. They welcome me with rocks. Can you believe that? Rocks." Mira ranted. Jia Hao stayed quiet and listened. He could listen to her talk all day but he wished he could aid her out here, he did not like that she was going through so much.

"And then, I put myself out there and decided to aid them with solving a major crisis all for one of them to destroy the whole thing and that is the cause of this entire issue you caught us trying to narrow down. I just do not understand why a fellow beast man would want to ruin something that would benefit them, do they really detest me that much?" Mira sighed, saying this out loud stressed her. "I’m sorry, I’m ranting." Mira stated.

"No. It’s okay. I am listening." Jia Hao said to her. This made the end of her lips curl.

"Thank you."

"My pleasure." Jia Hao responded. There was a short quietness between them as both of them took some time to think. "But if I must say something," Jia Hao uttered, breaking the silence. Mira focused her attention on him. "The cheetahs are not one to make careless decisions based on certain emotions. They would not destroy something that would benefit them over petty feelings. Do not suspect them."

This made Mira huff out a heavy breath. It made her feel so much worse or everything that unfolded at the farm.

"But," Jia Hao added. "I do not understand the narrative or context in this case but I think I should let you know this. On my way here, I smelt fox. And the scent did not belong to you."
