Chapter 355: Two Unknown Men
"If it is as good as you say, then where does the problem lie..." Max, the leader of the Harrison family, asked.
Hearing the question, Alister sighed, not happy with this one-dimensional thought. Looking at Larry, he subtly nodded his head.
"The problem is the dungeon bosses... first of all, they are very hard to find, which takes much of our resources and time. And even if we find them, we need at least ten members of the ’Chosen Ones’ to finish them off."
Pausing, Larry continued, "It was truly horrible at the start, but in the past weeks, things have eased a bit because of all the experience and currency earned. Many of the Chosen Ones have evolved to the next tier."
Seeing them nodding their heads, he added something interesting, "This isn’t all either... there are dungeons we can’t even access. Many of them are far above in the sky, and because we don’t have the ability to fly, many of our forces can’t reach them. And within the ocean..."
"Underwater is a problem in itself... almost all of it is filled with horrors at Tier IV. Because of these monsters, we can’t even think of entering the dungeons... let alone conquer them..." Larry paused, looking in a certain direction.
’If only some of you were more active in hunting the dungeons...’ Larry thought, knowing there were at least two individuals in this room capable of clearing a dungeon all by themselves but who were busy perfecting themselves.
Sighing, he was about to address more information when a voice entered the room.
"Sorry for coming this late..." A sweet voice captured everyone’s attention.
Hearing the voice, everyone turned their attention and found a man in his late forties entering the room. He wore a classic black suit.
"Triss... why this late?" Magnus asked, remembering that he had clearly provided the exact time and location of the meeting. Knowing that he was the type to come late, Magnus asked instinctively.
"Something happened..." Triss replied...
’Something happened?’ Sensing a hint of anger in Triss’s tone, everyone paid him some attention.
"What? What happened?..." David was the first one to ask.
Before Triss could reply though, Magnus disappeared from his spot. Appearing near Triss, he moved his hand perfectly and caught something that was on Triss’s head.
"W-What is the m-meaning of this... Magnus?" Fearing for his life, Triss asked hesitantly.
Not paying any attention to his words, Magnus opened his hand slightly and looked at the thing he had caught...
’Soo fucking fast..’ Devid thought gulping a mouthful of saliva.
Surprised by Magnus’s sudden action everyone focused their attention on him.
"W-what is this?" he whispered confused.
Magnus looked as he found a small insect lying on his palm... a dragonfly, to be precise. He wasn’t confused by the appearance of the thing he had caught... no, he was perplexed by its condition.
’It’s not alive...’ Magnus thought, finding the bug moving around his palm trying to escape, ’Yet it’s not dead either... is it undead?’
Crushing the bug, Magnus waited for a few seconds. Even after a few seconds when the notification didn’t come, he knew the undead wasn’t a dungeon spawn. It was created by some necromancer.
"You mentioned something had happened?" Magnus asked, looking at Triss with a hint of curiosity.
"Yeah! But what was that?" Triss asked back, looking at his hand.
"An undead dragonfly..." Magnus replied.
"Undead!? But how is this possible? I was careful to not let anything be near me..." Triss muttered to himself.
"Now, if you tell us what happened, we can try to answer this question..." Larry suggested, knowing it wouldn’t be good if someone were to spy on their conversation.
"It is related to the boy whom I sent to prison..." Triss replied, recalling what he had encountered that morning.
"What about him?"
"As you know Kamal had informed me about his appearance near that station, so I sent some of my men to keep an eye on him... in hopes of meeting him again. Nothing happened all this time, and I feared he wouldn’t come... but something changed recently..."
’Fucker... here we haven’t got enough men, and you are wasting capable men to keep an eye on someone... how stupid are you...’ Despite his disgust toward the man, Larry kept his mouth shut and continued to listen.
"Today one of my men informed me that they noticed two unknown men wandering in the area... and one of them entered the station like he was familiar with the place...."
"They could be anyone... someone seeking shelter... some hunters..." Larry suggested.
"That’s what I thought as well... but with the help of one of my exclusive abilities, it wasn’t hard to find that he was connected with the boy... their relationship isn’t simple either," Triss replied, looking at Larry.
"Now that you have confirmed it, what are your plans..." Knowing everything that is going on between the two, Magnus couldn’t help but ask with a hint of curiosity.
"I’m going to kill them... or worse. Because of him, my daughter couldn’t sleep at night. I will not stop until I kill him with my own hands... no, forget about killing... I will make him suffer more. I will make him suffer ten times more than he suffered in prison..." Gritting his teeth, Triss replied.
"Now... now calm down. This is a critical time... just send some men there and let them follow the unknown men for now," Magnus replied.
"Tsk! What about this undead..." Triss asked, looking at Larry.
"This could be the work of the second man... necromancers aren’t a common class, but they aren’t rare either," Larry replied, coming up with the easiest answer.
"Necromancer!..." Keeping the word in mind, Triss moved and sat in his seat.
Magnus returned as well, and all of them focused on the meeting once again. It continued for about an hour before coming to an end. One by one, all twelve of them exited the room and went their separate ways.

"Hmmm! Aurora would love this..." Azarex whispered, recalling the things he had found through the network of his undead.
