Selena glanced at Nicholas as though he’d gone mad.

She could see the news report, the body was limp as the police dragged it away.

She looked at the TV before turning her gaze back to Nicholas just to make sure they were both watching the same thing.

"What do you mean? He’s clearly dead"

"No he’s not" Nicholas replied back sternly.

A stab there would make it difficult to walk and could cause permanent damage depending on how deep it went. It could lead to death if the person isn’t taken for medical attention within ten to twelve hours. The report came in at seven. He shouldn’t be dead"

Selena stared at him dumbfounded, as though he had just performed an autopsy from across the room.

"I can’t even tell what your actual powers are at this point. How could you tell so much from just a casual glance." Selena said as she turned back at the screen, "We still have to confirm if that’s true, If we get any information on the attackers, it’ll be extremely helpful. We could use that to track them down and end the killing once and for all, a lot of heroes are already getting panicked by the news"

"I’ll be glad to help." Nicholas said bluntly.

Selena turned a suspicious glance at him, "Let me guess? So far you’re getting paid?"
