Chapter 584: The College Entrance Exam Is Coming

The items Yin Yang bought were delivered to the Xu Family after dinner while it was still early. The couple left the kids at home and went to bring these gifts to the Xu Family’s place.

When Xu Mumu and Yin Yang arrived, the Xu Family was just having dinner.

Seeing Yin Yang back, Li Caixia was extremely happy. She put down her utensils and started to show concern for Yin Yang, asking if he had eaten and drunk well outside, if he was tired. She never showed so much concern even for her own son.

They sat for a while. After the kids finished dinner, they went to review again. With only a few days left before the college entrance exams, they didn’t dare to relax.

"I went to many places, not for fun. When you grow up, Fengfeng, you’ll be able to go anywhere you want." Yin Yang said with a gentle smile. This little brother-in-law had a lively personality, sometimes a bit mischievous, but he still liked him quite a lot.

"Brother-in-law, brother-in-law, what’s the outside like? Hurry and tell me, I want to tell my friends tomorrow." Indeed, the little guy made a bunch of friends at school, though his best buddy remained Yu Yi, the little chubby. However, whenever he found something new and interesting, he always had to brag about it.

Yin Yang chuckled; he understood his little brother-in-law’s nature, so he briefly mentioned some interesting things he encountered outside. The little guy was still so young, so he wouldn’t understand the serious stuff.

The little guy listened intriguingly, eagerly looking forward to growing up quickly so he could go out and explore; the outside world was just so interesting.

After amusing the little brother for a while, Xu Mumu went to check on how Xu Minglei and the others were reviewing.

Now that Xu Wan was not living here anymore, Xu Mumu wasn’t clear about her situation, but with Xu Xue watching over, she felt assured.

The kids had already reviewed everything several times, and their foundation was very solid. Xu Mumu felt that their college entrance exam wouldn’t be a problem.

"All of you, make sure to get to bed early every day and maintain the best mental state during the exams to perform better." Xu Mumu said as she patted Xu Jiaojiao’s head.

After several years of growth, the kids had reached this level. Although she had helped them a lot, their efforts were undeniable.

"Big sister, don’t worry, we go to bed at 10:30 every day." Xu Jiaojiao said earnestly. The closer to the exams, the less careless they dared to be. However, after doing so many exercises, they had a clearer understanding of their abilities and felt more confident about the exams.

"Yes, only a few days left before the exam. These days, apart from doing exercises, review basic knowledge a lot. Any exam question comes from basic knowledge." Xu Mumu said warmly, looking at the children. She was proud of their achievements today.

"Got it, big sister." The kids all obediently listened, knowing that following their big sister’s advice couldn’t go wrong.

After chatting for a while, Xu Mumu and Yin Yang headed back.

Streetlights had now been installed alongside the road, which was initially absent. They were only installed after Xu Mumu brought up the suggestion.

Now, electricity was generated by solar power, so they didn’t lack electricity. With streetlights installed, people walking at night would be safer.

Though life had improved over the years, it wasn’t free of misfortunes.

The couple walked leisurely along the path, with the occasional chirping of crickets all around. Everything felt so peaceful.

There were occasionally people passing by on the road, and surprisingly, quite a few couples went out for dates at night.

Back home, the little one had already been coaxed to sleep by Professor Song and the others, and the two elders had gone to bed early. Madam Chun had already prepared hot water and such.

After washing up, as they lay down in bed, the downside of having taken an afternoon nap became apparent.

"Wife, I can’t sleep," Yin Yang reached out to hug his little wife in his arms, having no trace of sleepiness.

"Close your eyes and you’ll fall asleep soon." Xu Mumu blushed; as if she didn’t know what this guy meant.

"Can’t sleep, wife, I slept a lot in the afternoon, and now I don’t want to sleep. Let’s do something fun." Yin Yang said in a low, captivating voice.

With his warm breath on her face, Xu Mumu felt even hotter.

In the end, Xu Mumu let him have his way. After being apart for so long, she missed him too.

As expected, they got up late the next day. Xu Mumu just wanted to kick the person holding her out of bed.

"Wife, are you feeling unwell?" Yin Yang smiled contentedly, the epitome of satisfaction.

"I don’t feel comfortable anywhere." Xu Mumu rolled her eyes. He had already carried her to wash clean, and apart from some soreness, there was nothing else.

Outside, since it was a holiday, the two professors were feeding Doudou. They were competing over the bottle, both wanting to feed the child.

When Xu Mumu came out, she just caught this scene; the two really got more and more childish.

"Grandpa, Doudou is hungry. Hurry up, you two." Yin Yang looked at them speechlessly.

Professor Song, who was one step slower, glared at his grandson-in-law. If Yin Yang hadn’t spoken, he would have gotten the bottle.
